WatchBrokers.com payment never received

This occurred a while back or 01-13-2011. I was trying to sell a Rado watch and somehow found this broker online who proceeded to sell me a bill of goods where I would send my watch, insured through Federal Express for 1500.00 and then they would clean it up, sell it, make his commision and return me my part. We spend months and months talking on the phone and internet until he stops returning calls or emails. I reached out to BBB in Atlanta, Georgia and actually spoke to them yesterday though no results.
Back when this started I was told to send the piece to 3 West Paces Ferry Road NW, Atlanta Georgia, 30305 They gave a confirmation # 187-041

We have had to take many calls from upset consumers about being ripped off, but The Watch Broker, Inc. is a completely different entity. WatchBrokers.com Stolen watches

I sent three watches in to be sold, but instead they were stolen by watchbrokers.com. I am hoping that there is a class action taken against them and that they have to pay through the nose. They at first called daily trying to get me to submit the watches and once I did submit the watches all communication ceased. They are definitely a rip off and I will probably not see any money or the three watches.

WatchBrokers.com stole my watches

I sent in 3 expensive watches and the company never returned my phone calls or emails. I have been trying for months now to no avail. They said they would appraise the watches and give me a price which they did on line but then I was unable to reach anyone. Not sure what I should do at this point. Can you please advise. Should I file a police report, insurance claim. I really want my watches back. Please help in any way you can.

Yes you should contact the police to file a "POLICE REPORT" immediately because for everyday you allow this to go on without reporting it you're only hurting your own case. You can also go file a "WARRANT APPLICATION" in the County in which you mailed your watches to these crooks to.

Don't continue waiting to do something concerning your "EXPENSIVE WATCHES" because this is a crime and it looks like "THEFT BY CONVERSION" if these crooks have gotten your watches and sold them to pay their bills or they've given your watches to someone else.

WatchBrokers.com Theft

Here is some useful info if you want to prosecute your case: Call the City of Atlanta Police at [protected] to report theft.. His wife is Ashley Ricketts Toso and she works at Queen of Angels School. Her parent's are Michael and Carol Ricketts.
Watchbrokers.com has closed their doors and is in default with the GA Dept. of Consumer Affairs.

PLEASE CALL THE POLICE DEPT! IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK!

WRONG WRONG WRONG...The last comments must be from the employees themselves. Eric Toso took my watches, signed the paperwork and then repeatedly lied about getting my money. I will keep you posted as I have filed suit in Fulton County Superior Court that includes RJ Bergh and Eric Toso. My police report states Eric Toso as being charged with GRAND THEFT.
I have emails directly from the GOCP. DO NOT LET UP ON ERIC TOSO OR HIS FAMILY! He is a thief and his family has directly profited. Eric and RJ are close friends and Eric's artwork hangs in the showroom.

I cannot wait to ambush he and his wife at an art show in Roswell or anywhere in Atlanta.

These guys are pure criminals. I don't know if they got used to the idea of cheating people or if they are just evil. At any rate, they are all found on Facebook; Rick Latona, JC Piquant (he has recently removed his picture), Eric Toso. Take a look, you can put a face to the criminal. It's no joke, these guys should be in jail.

I was supposed to get a check from them about a month ago but I have not recieved anything. I have left numerous messages with eric toso, JC, and customer support, and not gotten any sort of response. They have ripped me off and I want to press charges for theft, breach of contract, embezzelment, and whatever else I can nail them for. I have photos of the watch they stole from me. I have more but two should do.

Eric Toso is and never was an owner at WatchBrokers.Com, he was an employee and had not control or power over payments or how the money was spent. It's not fair to put his personal information and send people after him personally. Eric Toso, Brandy Bennett, and a few others left the company months ago due to the way the company was being operated and the lack of follow through with paying the customers.
The owner/operator of the company is RJ Bergh and has been since December of 2011, the payments made and not made were done so by RJ Bergh. At this point your best bet is to contact The State of Georgia Office of Consumer Protection, the Atlanta Police and Fox5 in Atlanta.

Eric Toso no longer works there. He left when people were not getting paid. As did three other people who worked there. The owner is RJ Bergh and his phone number is [protected]. Eric does NOT own watch brokers or have any power of what they do. RJ does so calling Eric will get you no where. He was an employee not the owner.

Wow, I went to watchbrokers.com. They only have 1 watch for sale now. Hahaha. Rick Latona and the rest of them, including R.J. Berge are still trying to keep the scam alive. Don't you guys know when you're finished? Do you like the pain or something? Well we will keep dishing it out, there is plenty more where this came from. You are doomed to lose. This is God's will. Looser crooks do not get to keep their money. Duh.

I had a watch that I wanted to sell, it was a Breitling, Aerospace, Titanium, Two tone watch that I had no use for. I went online to see where the watch was from, it was WATCHBROKERS.COM. I went on WATCHBROKERS.COM and I had to sign a form with my name, address, email, phone number to be reached. A few days later I have receive a phone call @ 2:30am from a MICHAEL DAVIS, asking me about the watch, reason of me selling my watch. Then MICHAEL DAVIS, had given me some information about the company and what they do, how they do it, and how things move very quickly. Before taking the first step I took the liberty of going through thier website and everything looked promising, so I took the first step which was sending pictures of the watch. After a few days I had receive an email from MICHAEL DAVIS, saying that the pictures he had receive looks good, everything looks great and he would like to move to the next step, which is sending the watch to 3 WEST PACES FERRY RD NW, ATLANTA, GA 30305. I had to print out 2 pages containing WATCHBROKERS.COM INSURANCE DECLARATION AND FED EX EXPRESS. On 4/4/2011 fed ex had come to our house to pick up the box containing the watch inside. Within 2 days they had receive the watch. Another email was sent to me by MICHAEL DAVIS, saying they have the watch and everything looks fine except for some minor details which was, had some small minor scratches that could barely see, and the band was a little loose, but above all the watch was in good condition. Then he had said the price range would be between $1, 200 - $700.00 we could get for it, but 35% for them for selling the watch. But because MICHAEL DAVIS, was not the person who deals with auctioning off the watch it got transfered to a person name ERIC TOSO. At first he called he kept me informed with the watch, what was going on, sending me emails on a daily basis for a month and a half. Till one day I had receive a phone call saying there was a buyer who wanted the watch for $600.00 so ERIC TOSO, had sent me an email stating that if I wanted to sell the watch for $600.00 I needed to sign a contract containing I agree upon selling the watch for $600.00, I agreed. I needed the money to fix my car transmission. Now that the watch was being sold to someone I had to wait 10 days for the buyer to send them the money, which I had agreed 10 days came and went so I called ERIC TOSO, had to leave a voice message. ERIC TOSO, had called me back saying that the buyer had sent out the check for the watch but I had to wait another 7 days, so I agreed, whats another 7 days. 7 days came and went again I had to call to find out what was going on with my watch could not get through had to leave another voicemail. Couple days later ERIC TOSO, had called me back saying that they have receive the check from the buyer but it has to be cleared first with no red flags on it. Then he had said I should be getting my check within 7 days, no money, no check. Once again I had to call to find out what was going on no one answered, no response from email, had to leave another voicemail. It had been another week no response what so ever from ERIC TOSO, all because he was on vacation he had said. Finally he had called telling me that he has no idea why I have'nt receive my check yet! Come to find out he had said they sent it out to an address which was not mines so we had to correct that mistake. Another check was made out to my address guess what? no check. I have called, I have written emails, I have left messages no one responded. It took about another week for ERIC TOSO, to call me back after receving an email from my wife! When ERIC TOSO, had called me he had told me that I had to talk to another person name JAYCEE, who is there accountant, when I called JAYCEE, all I got was his voicemails.

@MDACEY25: I'd like to know what exactly happened? You're claiming this online jeweler ripped you off but you're not giving the readers such as myself anything to understand.

Did you mail this jeweler your watch because you were selling it to this jeweler? Give the readers of your post, more to read and understand rather than what you've posted already.

You're saying this jeweler did a lot of things to you criminally, but you're not telling us how this situation came to be.

WatchBrokers.com stole my Watch's

I found this site 2 days to late, sent watch brokers 14 watches 4 large beautiful gold cased pocket watch's 2 medium and 4 smaller ladies pocket watch's and 4 wrist watch's. I called the next day after viewing all the complaints, left numerous messages and e-mails, they have still not responded. At least I was smart enough to open all the watch's up and write down the serial numbers, they were all antiques most from the 1880's and turn off the century. I needed the money to save my home due to a horrible divorce or I never would of sold the collection. I have family in the FBI and Secret Service . They skrewed the pooch this time, never should of taken advantage of an Irish girl from New York.. If anyone has helpful info please pass it on, this web site or my e-mail at [protected]@aol.com.. Thank you and wish luck...

WatchBrokers.com Theft/Failure to pay

These guys never give up. Looks like they found a new patsy. His name is Matt Mason this time, a new patsy.

Watchbrokers.com Sent in my TAG(s) watches and never heard from them again. Internet, Georgia

I worked with watchbroker agent Matt Mason. I received my mailing label for my 2 Tag Heuer watches. Watchbrokers received, inspected and posted both my watches. Then also received bids on them and I accepted the offers. I then never heard from them. After several emails/voicemails and answering service indicated that Matt was still with company and never heard from him. Contacted Better Business Bureau and they could not get in touch with them.

THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS. MATT MASON IS A THEIF. DONT GET SCAMMED LIKE I DID

Company advertises via internet they will sell your watch for you for a 21% comission. Absolutely fantastic service up-front when you inquire about their program. Sent a Rolex that they listed for $2399.00. First day after posting, got a note from them that they had a $1500.00 offer on my watch. Accepted offer. Got an e-mail saying payment would be made in approx. two weeks. After waiting two weeks and hearing nothing, tried to e-mail, but e-mails rejected "error of something". Tried their Chat session with no response after 15 minutes. Called original number we used to begin the overall transaction, but no one responds.

Based upon what we're now learning, it would appear this operation is a huge scam. Going to file a complaint with the Georgia State's Attorney Generals office. Since this operation is probably still in operation, I assume State has done nothing with complaints from other people who have been taken like me.

If anyone has any other insights, psl. let me hear from you. Thanks.

Does anyone know a reason why these guys are not shut down? Our government is out trying to stop websites from selling counterfeit trinkets while they let these bozos get away with thousands. And they're not even in Africa. All they have to do is knock on the door to find them. They have their mugshots, easy to identify.

They aggressively pursued the selling of my 2 Rolex watches. They are sold and now I can't get the funds and they wont' return calls, emails or respond to a BBB - Atlanta registered complaint. There are over 16 documented cases where they have failed to pay for the watches they have sold on behalf of individuals. When does poor business practices change into a scam and/or fraud where the FBI may get involved?

I contracted this company to sell my Rolex watch, now they will not pay me the money they owe me they will not answer or return my phone calls. At first they will promise you the moon, than when they get your watch they are done with you. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. If any one else has experianced the same thing you should file a complaint with the Georgia consumes affair dept. Once again DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

I sent my watch in 3 months ago and was told it sold on January 15th. They do not return emails and it's nearly impossible to get someone on the phone. My rep Eric Toso keeps telling me the check is in the mail... but still no check. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE CROOKS!

It has been over a year since Watchbrokers.com stole my Breitling watch! In shipped it to them, and was told it sold within days. After contacting the company...which took forever!, was told they were working with the Governor's office and would begin paying clients soon! These people should all be in jail!

I entered into an agreement with Watchbrokers.com to sell a high end watch with a minimum acceptable sale price of $4, 500. The listing for the watch expired on 7/14/2011 at which time the watch was sold for the $4, 500. They advised the seller had 15 days to complete the transaction and I would receive my check within 10 - 14 days from the buyers fully executed purchase. At worst case, I should have received a check in early August. I have called dozens of times and emailed numerous requests for updates with no response. Based on my experience, they are complete frauds. It's now over 3 months since the sale of my watch and they will not return calls or emails - This is a huge scam.

on November 7.2011 I contacted Watchbrokers.com regarding selling my Rolex watch. There policy is to email the client a pre-paid shipping label for shipping your watch to them. I then dropped the watch off at federal express for shipment to watchbrokers.com.with the package insured for $11, 000. They received the watch on 11/9/11 and contacted me regarding doing a condition report and written evaluation for appraisal puposes for selling the watch. Although on November 7 when I originally contacted Matt at watchbrokers.com, he initially stated the watch would be worth between $7000.00 and $9000.00 with a full retail price of $11, 000.00. Well the report came back that the watch was in mint to excellent condition as it had never been worn and was still in its original packaging. The value was then deemed to be worth only $4950.00 and a retail value of $5100.00. At that popint I informed Mr. Mason that I would not be willing to sell the watch and had decided to keep it as it was a gift and really not worth it to sell it for me. I instructed him that I wanted the watch returned to me and he stated that he would have to do some paper work and get back with me tomorrow. Well 3 weeks have gone by and now Watchbrokers.com will not return any of my dailey phone calls and completly ignoes all correspondance thru email. I simply want my watch returned to me. thats all. I filed a report with the Atlanta BBB and found out from them they have an "F";rating for past unscrupulous business transactions with other customers such as myself.

Let me see...where do I start to tell about my extreme frustration with this company. Be advised this is going to be an extremely long rant as I am more than ticked at this SCAM!

My experience began with Matt Mason in the Atlanta office. I met him with I attempted to sell my Chopard watch. He was very nice and extremely convincing when talking me into allowing them to sell my piece. He assured me that they could sell it for at least $7000 but probably closer to $9000. I happily agreed to allow them to sell it. BIG MISTAKE!

After Matt received my timepiece (August 2011), I went several weeks without hearing anything. Then all of the sudden I started getting calls from Eric Toso. Here is where I should insert that I am business owner and a HUGE stickler for customer service. If there is ever a situation where I am working with a client and they will be passed over to another individual in my company, they are informed about that transition! I was never, not one time, introduced to, or told about Eric Toso until he just started calling me one day.

Now, a personal note to Eric -- you need to learn to speak clearly! I could hardly understand your calls and messages. Also, if a client tells you that the best form on communication for them is e-mail, you should email them.

Back to my complaint...after several months (3-4) of my watch not selling, I began to express interest in getting it back. Suddenly, miraculously, my watch "sold on December 20, 2011." I hesitate to say "sold" because I'm not convinced the watch was ever sold. Now get this, the selling price was only $4500! After all the commission and CRAP is taken out, I'm going to end up with a little over $3000 for a $15, 000 watch.

Fast forward to now (March 2012) and I have still not received a check for my watch. I am so extremely frustrated that I began calling them and leaving messages every 15 minutes during my hour and a half commute.

I am telling you all this to warn you DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, trust this company. They are a scam and a fraud and should be shut down! I am a firm believer in karma and I believe these awful individuals that assist this company in scamming people will pay for their evil work.

I am also telling you this because I want to know how many of you ever got your checks? I wish there was some way to just shut these people down. I am so mad at myself for falling this SCAM!

Watchbrokers.com Sent in my TAG(s) watches and never heard from them again. Internet, Georgia

I worked with watchbroker agent Matt Mason. I received my mailing label for my 2 Tag Heuer watches. Watchbrokers received, inspected and posted both my watches. Then also received bids on them and I accepted the offers. I then never heard from them. After several emails/voicemails and answering service indicated that Matt was still with company and never heard from him. Contacted Better Business Bureau and they could not get in touch with them.

THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS. MATT MASON IS A THEIF. DONT GET SCAMMED LIKE I DID

Another victim, so sorry to hear you were scammed by these guys. Here are their photos for your convenience. I have yet to locate the newest scam artist, Matt Mason. But your bumbling, inarticulate Eric Toso (last picture) is still scamming. At any rate, these are the fine citizens that have your watch.

WatchBrokers.com non payment

Watchbrokers sold my watch for $9000. on June 8th and I still have not gotten paid. To go through the whole story of how I have attempted to get paid would take forever. I am filing my lawsuit this week, as the complaint has already been drawn up. I am looking for others who are past the 6 month mark of not getting paid. We would like to add a rackateering charge to the complaint and would need others to be involved. I Fed Exed my Rolex to Watchbrokers.com to be sold, in August 2011.After a dozen excuses, it was sold on November 16, 2011.

Eric Toso, Senior Broker, told me in countless emails and voicemails, 30 to 45 days for payment. At the end of December, the last time I heard from him, he stated if I had not received payment by January 1, 2012, to call him... I have. And I have emailed. Dozens of times. Any number I push for any department at Watchbrokers goes to voicemail. My messages and emails go unanswered.

WatchBrokers.com no payment

I have the same story as everybody else...they were great at the beginning...easy to contact, and returned phone calls. I have filed complaints with the BBB and ic3.gov. I also have contacted a news organization in Atlanta. Since I am from Ohio, he could not help me. The gentleman told me that he needs a person from Georgia to come forward to get things started. Please email me if interested ([protected]@yahoo.com). I am also wanting in on a class-action suit if the people on this site are wanting to pursue them. I have been speaking with several folks on another complaint site.

Yes, payment was received, although a couple of months late. Once I got to speak with one of the managers, the transaction was professional and fast (a matter of days, in fact), just like the service at the beginning of the process. We are hoping the issues for other clients will be resolved in a similar manner.

I sent this company a watch to sell for me. According to a conversation on Feb 25, 2011, the watch was sold and I should expect payment to be mailed March 3, 2011. It is March 16, 2011 & no payment has been sent. Each time I am able to get a person on the line I am told they will get right on it and have a tracking number for me. They don't return calls, you have too keep calling. They don't return emails, nor do they do what they say they will do. I do not recommend this company in any way. Their business practices are poor & I have yet to receive payment that they have agreed is owed too me.

I just wonder why Rick Latona did not shut this thing down in the first place. If I could talk to him I would ask what went wrong.

I have been taken for a ride by this company as well. They have sold 4 watches for me, I have been paid for 1. That took over 2 months. The other 3 have been sold since August and I have not been paid. I have called countless times to Eric Toso and Brandy Bennett, who is the one who writes the checks, or not!
I am going to taking action against them, to either pay me or return my watches.

UPDATE:

Per Watchbrokers.com, this customer was sent a check via Bank of America online bill pay. The check was received by the customer on 8/8/11 and confirmed by the customer, Ms. Tamara Patrone. This client has also stated they will post on sites, showing us in a good light.

WatchBrokers.com They will lie and cheat you out of your watch

I sent this company a '50s gold petek which was sold (according to them) over a month ago. I've been told they would send me payment two seperate times by two different people (CJ was one), and never received the payment. NEVER DEAL WITH THESE CROOKS, they will LIE AND CHEAT YOU OUT OF YOUR WATCH! Someone needs to go over there and burn down the place - this is a good example of a bad business and governement that can't do it's job and lock these guys up. I can only hope that each of the crooks that works there get cancern and that each of their family members also a striken!

Just like everyone else on this site it looks like I have been scammed. They sold my Jaeger LeCoultre watch for $2700 first week in August and I still have not been paid. I have spoken with them several times and keep hearing diffent reasons why I have not been paid. First it was new software now it is they are going through an audit. Now I cannot get anyone to return calls or emails. I have filed complaints with BBB and Georgia's consumer affairs. My next step will be to call the Atlanta police and also seek an attorney.

Do not do business with this company! I only wish I had found this web site before I sent my watch away.

I sent them an Omega watch in June, 2017. My initial contact was Eric Toso. He did call me in September to tell me my watch had sold. After waiting a while I called him to inquire about my payment and he told me the buyer had a 15-day right of recission. So, I waited some more, called Watchbrokers in early October and was told the sale was complete and I had been put on a "to pay list". No check yet! Since my last call I have not been able to contact a "soul" there and there have no replies to my emails. I don't like to about being scammed, but every- thing up to now indicates I am definitely a scam victim.

Watchbrokers.com sold my Rolex Explorer II back in late June. It has been four months and I still have not received payment. I have left literally dozens of voice messages and dozens of emails to the finance department and have NEVER received a response. I even hired an attorney to draft a letter demanding payment and STILL no response. I have filed a complaint with the BBB of Atlanta as well as the Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs in hopes that this will finally spur some action on their behalf. In short, this has been one big nightmare and has caused me incredible stress. Quite possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with.

I bought a watch for the gold weight in the band and case. I can get $500 out of it as scrap. But it is a nice omega watch so I sent it to watch brokers to if I could sell it through them for more than the scrap value. They recommended a price of $450.00 and they keep 35% . I told them that would be silly for me to do and to send my watch back. They want $39.95 in shipping and handling to send it back to me. I said they could use my Fedex account number and they said they could not do that.

I am so very sick. We dropped our watch off to them in Sept. it sold the first of Oct. and no one will talk to us. We have had to turn it over to our attorney and I am going to call the FOX 5 I team tomorrow to see if they want to do a story on it. We are beside ourselves sick and have been taken such advantage of. I do not recommend this company to anyone...if I had only seen this sight before we took our watch to these guys. Now, if I ever hear from them and they pay us our money I will let you know but thus far this has been a nightmare!

In July 2017 I sent watch brokers 4 watches to sell. By the end of Aug. they were all sold with an ending balance (after 19% commission deducted) of 4000.00. It has been 5 months and I have not received a dime of what they owe me. They have recently told me that they are working with the governor of Georgia's consumer protection agency and have set up a payment schedule for outstanding payments to customers. I have researched and can find nothing supporting these claims. Watch brokers has failed to send me documentation to verify of any such schedule. This company has done too many people this way and needs to stopped! I will not stop until I have been paid in full by watch brokers.

I have mailed five valuable watches to this company and have had similar responses or should I say no responses. I've contacted all the departments or agencies suggested. I have two further suggestions--a fraud detective told me I should notify the USPS as this involves MAIL FRAUD--Please lets all complain.My super duper idea is let us all contact Leslie Stahl from 60 minutes and see if she would be interested in a panel discussion.

I like everyone else fell for the same SCAM and sent them my watch in August. They were very helpfull and polite so I mailed them overnight Fed-Ex my IWC coustea aquatimer limited edition. The watch was sold in August and I was assured by Eric Toso I would recieve payment in timely matter. Each time I contacted Eric as the weeks passed I was told 1-2 more weeks. Then Toso forwarded me to account payable of which they would never respond. To this date I have not received payment or corrospondance from them. I have filed with BBB of which they have not received a response. I also made a clame with Govorners Office of consumer affairs. I'm not sure what the next step should be or how to come to a resolution. Any input would be appreciated or if there is further legal action. Please contact me at K9champ@hotmail.com. on November 7.2017 I contacted Watchbrokers.com regarding selling my Rolex watch. There policy is to email the client a pre-paid shipping label for shipping your watch to them. I then dropped the watch off at federal express for shipment to watchbrokers.com.with the package insured for $11, 000. They received the watch on 11/9/11 and contacted me regarding doing a condition report and written evaluation for appraisal puposes for selling the watch. Although on November 7 when I originally contacted Matt at watchbrokers.com, he initially stated the watch would be worth between $7000.00 and $9000.00 with a full retail price of $11, 000.00. Well the report came back that the watch was in mint to excellent condition as it had never been worn and was still in its original packaging. The value was then deemed to be worth only $4950.00 and a retail value of $5100.00. At that popint I informed Mr. Mason that I would not be willing to sell the watch and had decided to keep it as it was a gift and really not worth it to sell it for me. I instructed him that I wanted the watch returned to me and he stated that he would have to do some paper work and get back with me tomorrow. Well 3 weeks have gone by and now Watchbrokers.com will not return any of my dailey phone calls and completly ignoes all correspondance thru email. I simply want my watch returned to me. thats all. I filed a report with the Atlanta BBB and found out from them they have a "F" rating for past unscrupulous business transactions with other customers such as myself.

Eric Toso managed to have me ship my Bretling watch to sell. The watch was shipped to them in July of 2017, the watch was sold in December for less than what it's worth, they deducted 19% profit and was also charging me $199.00 for servicing the watch. But based on the add on their web site, the watch was sold as is.

I was promised the check in June of 2017. Since then, they have not returned my phone calls nor responded to my emails.

My story is the same as so many others here. I sent Watchbrokers my Omega SpeedMaster in December. In late February, when I inquired about its return (since it hadn't sold), Managing Sales Representative Eric Toso told me it had been sold and I should receive payment in about 25 days.
Twenty-five days later and no payment. I called and emailed Toso -- repeatedly. No replies.
I contacted Customer Service and talked to JC (Jean Claude)Piquant on April 4. He said the check would be cut the week of the 11th. It's the 17th and -- no check.
I'm going after these guys: BBB, A-G, GA Secy of State, Fulton County Prosecutor's office, FCC, FTC.

Watchbrokers.com sold my Rolex Sea-Dweller on consignment on June 28, 2011 for $4, 000. They were supposed to keep 19% and pay me the remainder. As of today, December 18, 2011, they have paid me nothing. BrandyBennett@WatchBrokers.com informed me that I will be paid no later than November 31, 2012.

I sent them my watch, because I really needed the money. Their ads were slick and appeared quite legitimate. The voice on their answering machine is of a woman with an English accent. English accents sound classy. WatchBrokers.com is not classy. They robbed me. Merry Christmas.

I had a similar experience with the same characters ( Michael Davis and Eric Toso-- JC Piquant wasn't man enough to EVER return my calls. Now they a "Brandy" trying to negotiate a deal) I negotiated a deal at 28% commission and a possible sale price of between $16000 and $17000--all documented in emails. I signed the contact that said they would call me with an offer and i could either accept it or refuse it. After they received my watch they claim that i signed a different contract that had a 35% commission rate and a $7500 price tag. They subsequently sold the watch without first presenting the offer and claim they were owed the 35%. when I presented the email negotiations and the contract I sign, they produced another that i have absolutely no recollection of signing --why would i sign it? --it was completely different from the two -week email exchange negotiation and contract that i signed and have in my files. I found out my watch was sold after hounding them for a week every day and only after I contacted the governors office did they call to settle. Now they're admitting that the commission rate should have been 28% but are insisting that i agreed to the %7500. I am prepared to fight forever with these crooks-for nothing else that to put them out of business so they can't hurt anyone else. --BTW my insurance company is going after them as well.

Try to find out information on this Funk Legal Group, best I can tell it is some character named Rolando G. Funk of New Haven Connecticut, but good luck finding a physical address for this character. If I were all of you, I would be laughing my head off at these form Cease and Decist letters... go ahead Funk sue ALL these people who have had their watches and money taken by your supposed clients... good luck with that one, this company needs to be shut down and I suspect that it won't be long before the FBI or some other government agency finds hotels for the whole group of them. With the number of complaints of fraud, theft and embezelment against this company, it would be nice to see everyone get together with one FBI field office, probably in Fulton County, Georgia and stop them before they defraud others. And as for the "Funk Legal Group" go for it big guy!

Watchbrokers.com has established a well founded reputation for the quality of its services and customer satisfaction. All customers who sold watches to watchbrokers.com did get paid in full. Watchbrokers never, nor intended to deceive, withhold or steal from its customers whatsoever.

You specifically referenced to Watchbrokers in your post that Watchbrokers is a fraud, theft by deception and are in engaged in breach of contract and embezzlement are made with false accusations and without merit. In addition, they are misleading and defamatory in that they depict my client as engaging in fraudulent activity that violates civil and criminal laws, thereby damaging my client’s reputation and adversely affected its business.

My client has already compensated you in the amount of $648 via Bank of America bill pay check on April 22, 2011 pursuant to your signed Customer Service Agreement with Watchbrokers.
Pursuant to Kentucky Common Law, defamation of character involves a person making false statements about another person that causes that person to suffer harm. Defamation of character can be committed by verbal statements (slander) or written statements (libel). The false statements must have been published or communicated to a third party by the defendant, for defamation of character to occur.

Your attempts to spread libelous and defamatory material about my client have caused serious and irreparable injury to it, its reputation, and its business. My client will not stand by this and allow this misconduct to continue.

I hereby demand that you;

1. Immediately remove all defamatory and disparaging remarks made by you, and

2. Immediately cease and desist in posting any defamatory statements about my client,

Please note that this firm does not attempt to restrict legitimate free speech, and this firm believes that the internet is an important medium for dissemination of accurate and truthful information and for fair comment on issues of the interest. My experience has been a nightmare and I have no expectation of being paid or receiving my watch back without resorting to a legal process. Well I'll start by saying, they sounded great at first, but now I am learning the truth the hard way. I sent in a watch and was told the expected price the watch should bring. It sounded great they sell the watch I get some cash. Now that over a month has passed with no contact either by phone or email I am thinking I got duped. I see R J posts here so reply to this one. Answer your email. I have sent you requests for status on your email and on the website contact us page. The lack of response on your part is forcing me to take action for a response. I was told that most watches sell within 10 days, and that's great if it takes 20 or 30 whatever. GIVE A STATUS UPDATE! As for this review, I will say the customer service at first is good, but once they have your merchandise they forget or ignore you.

I unfortunently sent my grandfathers Rolex watch to Watch Brokers and, could not get ahold of anyone for over 6 months, I left message after message and no one would ever call me back. They finally called to say my watch was sold, that was October of last year, I have not any contact with them sence. This is or was the worst company I have ever come in contact with. Iam now without my Rolex watch but I am also out $3000.00 in payment.
I dont know IF they really sold the watch, of juat STOLD it from me. PLEASE do not do any business with this company or anyone involved with them.

I'm dealing with the same issues you are. I'm wondering if you have been paid yet? I sent in my watch in March and it sold in May. I'm still waiting for the money.

Will echo what "gaspiasse" had to say, as the customer service is horrible and trying to get an update on the sale of your watch and when you will be paid is extremely frustrating. I was on hold for 27 minutes one day last week and still did not talk to anyone. When you do get through you are told you will get a call back, but no one ever calls back. They have a serious communication problem once your watch is submitted and it gets worse when it is sold. They need to develop a customer service program that is friendly to clients and gives you a clear timeline for the sale and when to expect payment.
