We're pretty sure that if Walmart showed up wayyyy more often on ComplaintsBoard and paid more attention to reviews and complaints, it would lead to better results. But for now, the resolution rate doesn't show successful interaction with customers. We advise reviewers to be careful when communicating with Walmart and be ready for the chance your problem might not get a response. It's also good to start looking for other solutions if your issues aren't fixed as you want.

Walmart - deadly situation reported to them got me banned

On a thursday I reported with pics to walmart corporate that stacking 25lb bags of kitty litter 12 bags high was dangerously unstable and 300Lbs falling over could kill a child. I was told the matter would be adressed. Friday 4pm I stopped back in and found a managers meeting at the now fixed pile of kitty litter and spoke with store managers. Later at 10...

Walmart no price matching

I have shopped at walmart, both store and website regularly. Normally very accommodating. This time I purchased a step2 Play Up Gym Swing Set for my grand babies, at a cost of $399.97. Within 2 days of pickup, we went almost immediately to get it...had we waited and discovered our problem, we could have left it for them to return without taking it. However we did pick it up, only to discover it was on sale at toysrus for $100.00 less. When I emailed walmart.com about the difference in price, they said they do not match prices..., I pointed out to them that I see the commercial on tv almost everyday telling how they "match it", in regard to prices. I have sent multiple emails including mentioning that at the bottom of the the ads on tv, it says clearly "walmart.com"...this is so frustrating as walmart was a major contributor to my frequent shopping. Very hard to say, "I will never deal with them again". I get more aggravated each time I see those commercials.
Any suggestions, this is pretty new to me as I said, I always felt walmart did well by me over the years.
Thanks, I feel better already, just venting. My grandson absolutely loves the playset, so I have that priceless joy.
Again thanks

They are talking about bringing a Walmart to the Washington D.C. area, while it would be convenient for a lot of people who aren't able to travel to Maryland or Virginia to shop there, I think Washington D.C. has enough problems without bringing in a retailer with anti-customer services. They need better customer service or as the economy gets worse they will find the average joe still not wanting to shop there. They have lost my family's business and there are a lot of us.

Walmart costomer service

I was in Walmart this morning trying to purchase a few bags of topsoil. I waiting more than 20 minutes for someone to come and open the garden center door. Then I was told by another employee that they couldn’t open the garden center door and the people who could were in a meeting and refused to come out and open the door. Now it’s not as if I need anyone’s help with getting or choosing the topsoil, I just needed the topsoil! So, I waited another 10 minutes and still no body would help me! So, I finally said forget this and left! This store is a joke! There is NEVER an employee around to help you and when there is, they CAN'T help you! There is always 300 hundred employee's working but only 3 registers open! I understand that we (the American people) our getting what we pay for but, come on already! Walmart is a Capitalist run company that discriminates against their employee's (female) and treats their customers outrageously… I will not be back!

Walmart pharmacy

Walmart needs to get out of the Pharmacy business - they have gotten too big for their own good! Everytime you go to WalMart to pick up medicines, be prepared to spend 30 minutes in line just to get to the counter. Once you have made it there, expect to get a partial on the prescription you requested or get told that they are out of stock on the medicine you need. Remember - you had dropped off the prescription earlier and they did not have the forsight to let you know at that time that they were out of stock on a medicine. To be out of stock on common antibiotics, blood pressure or diabetes medicine is inexcusable. If Walmart can not stock up om medicines that are commonly used, then they need to get out of this business! I am sure that Walgreens is just as busy as Walmart but I have never had to wait for a medicine if it had been dropped off earlier!

Walmart identity theft/forged checks

Someone has stolen my identity and banking information. Various Walmarts throughout Texas have been responsible for accepting these forged checks and I am getting no help from Walmart to stop this problem! I have police reports in to all locations which accepted these forged checks, and the Desoto walmart Accounting Manager told me "It's not our problem" Excuse me! YOU ARE THE PROBLEM! You're accepting fake checks from someone with a fake ID. It's is absolutely YOUR problem! I have tried to navigate the phone lines and website to no avail. PLEASE, PLEASE HELP! It's not just one check, and none of them are small amounts, I'm financially destroyed right now!

The register no longer prompts for the cashiers to check IDs anymore, unless it is the first time a check is being used in the store. That's why no one asked. This is for Walmart, not sure how Target runs their thing.

Walmart urban campaign

Walmart sucks! Here are just a few reasons why 1) Encouraging use of carcinogenic pesticides such as Roundup (we know who died from this); 2) Massive use of slave labor for producing garments; 3) New world order agenda: They pushing corporate education disguised as urban clean up, diversification, renewal projects. We know this--outside our apartment is a few Clean the City Walmart signs; they are running a museum campaign at the Smithsonian; they are awarding grants to schools and colleges provided the teachers/ professors attend their training camps (really corporate brainwashing in disguise); 4) All of their foods are processed foods mostly, just like Target. Processed foods are full of artificial ingredients, carcinogenic genetically modified organisms, hydrolyzed proteins (msg), polysaturated fats, and other sterile ingredients; 5) World domination by 2049 (see the new game 2049). All universities will have board presidents from McDonalds, Coco-Cola, Kraft, Walmart, the whole shebang; rather than Walmart University, it will still have the old facade, but most of the boards will consist of conglomerate representatives. In that world, the only free thought will be what is needed to make the grade. Socrates would puke all over himself. Ewww!
I hate Walmart because they underpay (contrary to what their campaign says) and rely on slave labor, and breed slave drivers (called professors in the new world order), and poison the human beings with toxic chemicals, and poison the human soul with consumerist greed, and pollute the planet with all their plastic garbage and consumerist wastes. Walmart, you suck! We don't need to be cancer stricken (yes we are that too sadly, from all the Roundup we used to use) to know Walmart is evil!

PS. One last factor which I forgot to mention in the rural area which we lived was we had some funky neighbors, and they were really redneck types, and we were pretty counterculture; so there's a sneaking suspicion one of them could very easily have poisoned the waterwell, which was hardly ever locked.

Now I have regrets about saying all those *bad* things about Walmart. I can imagine those highly paid execs with nothing to do all day except read postings on complaintsboard, pulling their hair out! But if I hadn't seen the *cheery* "Clean the City" wire signs stuck in the lawn mostly likely by the landscaping crew for our apartment building, I wouldn't have been upset. I mean, I didn't mean to ruin Aggravated Shopper's day; there was a time I loved to be greeted by those cheery oldsters in front of the store; in fact, I even thought about maybe applying to work there too. And they do have these very reasonably priced most likely factory second music CDs. It wasn't altogether bad, till we got sick. Some of us don't know what it's like being in the hospital. Nowadays the first thing they do is hook you up on an IV with "antibiotics" or "potassium" but really all that is to make you lose your sense of time so you don't worry about bathing or anything. The idea of writing a book while in a hospital bed...that's a myth. Okay, there were more factors than one for developing colorectal cancer, but we think Roundup was a catalyst. Here are some other contributing factors to consider: http://coloncancer.about.com/od/causesofcancer/a/Colon_Cancer.htm. I don't want his relatives to see this posting and start to get upset. They'll guess it was me after a while. He smoked, and I breathed in alot of secondary smoke. He made his own wine, and we drank several glasses every night, and it had sulfite preservatives. My dad had colorectal cancer, so the factors were partly hereditary. Not mentioned in the causes, but it should be is yeast infection/ allergy. Man, I am too good to you people considering all the insults I get in return. Men and women can be allergic to wheat and develop candida: http://www.turnaroundyourhealth.net/Candida-Albicans---Is-it-The-Cause-of-Your-Health-Problem?/B67.htm. Furthermore, taking coconut oil can help: http://www.organicfacts.net/organic-oils/organic-coconut-oil/health-benefits-of-coconut-oil.html. Now the moment I say this Walmart executive may try to corner the market on the stuff. I noticed it has been disappearing rather quickly off our organic stores here locally. Nevertheless, there are 16 factors mentioned, and a few preventatives. Don't smoke, don't drink, get the endoscopy soon as you hit 40, earlier if someone in the family has had colorectal cancer, exercise, try to eat less processed foods, more organic/gmo, don't use herbicides in the garden (another factor was boyfriend was pretty sloppy about washing his hands, and his aim got sloppy too sometimes, he just accidentally sprayed on the veggies; and believe spraying all the dandelions on a 5 acre piece of land is a lot of dandelions). Also don't take any alcohol or coffee if you are already prone to yeast infections: men, if you itch down there, that's a very good sign. Bathe the genitalia with tea-tree soap and rub in some coconut oil down there all over. Cut the hair down there too if it gets too bushy. You can also take coconut oil internally. You know, there are many ways to have a nice day besides just the one-dimensional Walmart way, after all, like I said, Walmart only lets us see the bright side of the sunny street. We need to see the whole picture sometimes. Thank you complaintsboard.

Apr 26, 2011 10:13 pm EDT

I am hurt. Against my better judgment: 1) boyfriend died of liver disease/late stage colorectal cancer. Guess what his fav thing was to do? Spraying for dandelions using Roundup in a cannister every single morning, including the veggie garden where I dutifully weeded. Yeah don't laugh! 2) I got colorectal cancer and had multiple surgeries and followup treatment a year later. Now I have an ostomy that is not reconnectable. I was also sterilized etc from radiation treatment. 3) Walmart had a very aggressive Roundup campaign on Live365 Radio last year; You couldn't listen to live354 online radio without encountering those stupid Walmart ads about Roundup for the garden. Every 15 minutes! 4) All right, I don't *hate* Walmart, but my allegations of them using sweatshops is pretty much true. They have gotten better, but you can, if you are psychic at all, feel the pain embedded in their clothings. I can. So can other people but they won't admit it. 5) You have to admit they push a lot of tasteless corporate foods that personally I find disgusting. Read "Fast Food Nation" to get an idea of what I am talking about. 6) Okay, the prof was a bit of a slave driver, but she wasn't the meanest, but at the same time, there is this effect when they all aggregate at those faculty seminars. If you ever been to one, maybe you would know. You think they are so nice, but man, some of them are nothing if narcissistic and egoistical. But to be fair, she was a fair grader, although with regard to everything else just a schmuck like everybody else. 7) So yes, I look like those caricatures of Obama mama going back to school. Not real funny at my age. And of course you can guess what kind of college it had to be if it needed a Walmart grant so bad. Maybe not so bad, but not really all that hot either. Now you know why I need a punching bag like Walmart sucks? Okay, now go punch me in the face and make me feel worse. Maybe I should have said, "Complaint Board sucks!"

Why don't you identify yourself as who you really are? Technical administrator at Complaintsboard? Makes tens of thousands per year, paid to monitor complaints board complaints? But you don't have the experience of actually working for a prof who was awarded a massive grant. You don't have the humiliation of slaving for such professor for ZERO dollars, for her walmart grant. That's right ZERO of her hundred thousand dollar grant EVER made it into this direction. Well, we're not really complaining. We got through. But talk about tight. Meanwhile she goes trekking happily, party happily on those precious Walmart dollars. Wow. So yeah, I SPEAK FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE! I KNOW WHAT IT IS LIKE BEING A WALMART SLAVE! Do you? No! All you people who complain about Walmart. Email your complains to BBB at bbb.com. I see thousands of complains in sites that Walmart could not care less about and one complain to BBB WILL be answered. Regardless on how big the company is, ther credit rating in bbb effects their credibility. Hit this small business killer where it hurts.
Their credit rating is A+ and this is the same company that used the slogan " We buy American, We sell American" for years. Remember that?

All your complains WILL be answered only if you submit to BBB. Walmart executives are not stupit, they have been counting on the normal Joe's stupidity for years.
Complain to BBB.com and get response faster that you think

While I am not a very big fan of Walmart any more and actually agree with many of your statements regarding Walmart, i am wondering is this a complaint more about Walmart or more about RoundUp? I know Walmart has their own generic brand of RoundUp in a green bottle but if this is more about the actual RoundUp brand, there are so many places that sell it from Walmart, to hardware stores, nurseries and green houses, and it is even carried in grocery stores.

BTW, I have retired from Walmart so i have time to comment on this site but I honestly have never, ever heard anyone say anything bad about RoundUp except they didnt think it worked very well.

Walmart disrespected in frint of customers

my name is sharonette thompson, i have been employed for the ashland walmart 5yrs4mts. i have worked in previous positions..deli, csm, electronic, connect ctr, worked overnite as well.i come to work daily, never late, i do my job without no one telling me what to do. i am currently working in the photo lab as a specialist. when it comes to the lab i no my job. i go above and beyond to take good care of my customers. we have a new techican that came aboard on friday, so i'm the oldest one in the lab now so i was asked to train the new associate which i have no problem with. friday when i tried to train her zsm angela kept pulling us up to the register, i explained to angela that i have to get the associate trained because she has to open the lab the next day which was saturday. she was like ok i understand but i need you guys to go on register, and besides i'm here tomorrow so i can help her open.i asked her are you sure? she said yes. so i said ok. when saturday came i got 2 calls from the associate needing my help, so i said to the associate where is angela? she said angela came over and tried to help her but she did not no what she was doing..she said angela said i have never seen these steps before.so the associate called me back, so i told her it was hard for me to tell her on the phone so i told her i was on my way so when i got there i asked fitting room to call angela to the lab so she came there and i asked her what happen to her helping the associate open the lab she laughed. then i said it;s not funny you told me yesterday you was gonna help her. i said that what i was tryiny to tell you yesterday(friday) that i needed to train her so she will know how to open. so she went to say something else i said i'm done with it. i just wanted you to know i had to get out my bed to come up here an get the lab open. her reply was i'm not done with it .. you dont have to yell at me i said i'm not yelling. everyone know i talk loud. so she went and got asst mgr shannon.keep in mind when shannon comes over there is the new tech, 5yr tech, and myself..the 5yr tech do not know how to open either because she works 5-9. so when shannon with his NASTY ATTITUDE came over to the lab his reply to me was. GET OUT OF HERE... YOU ARE NOT SCHEDULE TODAY, SO GET OUT OF HERE AND GO HOME. it's not what he said it's how he said it. the proper way to have come to me was sharon i thank you for coming in an trying to help us get the lab open, but you did not have to do that we could have figured it out. but he was just so nasty to me. i have 2 wittness that was back there when he said it. even angela was back there when he said it, but she is not gonna say he was nasty. one thing about me is i'm not going to lie on no one... i hate it when someone lies on me. i will literally loose my mind if you lie on me.i have already spoken to my co-mgr charles about this situation on saturday before i left the store. i just want to clarify with whom ever this letter gets to, no one will disrespect me me in no shape of form.. then to do it in front of customers thats a no no. my oldest daughter is older than shannon, she do not disrepect me. i have never worked in a retail place that certain mgrs are just so nasty to the employees. i see it each an everyday. that's why i cometo work and do my job and go home.. there is so much favortisim in that store it's unbelieveable.. now that explains why the associates say they don't like working for shannon, and certain mgrs. you never here associates that have nothing goood to say about this man.. if this guy only new the stuff that i know he would be very suprised. but i'm not the one to talk. but if he push me to that point than i will. then for angela to go behind my back when i leave the store and talking bout it i thinkk that's a shame because she is a zsm. i feel she needs to be coached behind that, i had several calls made to my house asking me what happened because angela was at work talking bout it.. but what angela, shannon fails to realize is that i got out my bed to come an help an associate in need. just to let you know it don't stop here with this letter. i'm going higer with it. i would like for john to come to the store and talk to me face to face.i would like to see some justice done. it was no need in me being treated like that. charles did tell me thanks for coming to help out. and that it should have been handled a little different. after being treated like a nobody i have no respesct for shannon, nor angela. THE WORD IS... YOU GOT TO GIVE RESPECT! TO GAIN RESPECT.. they treat people like crap at that store. those positions have really went to the people heads.. i would like a response within 24hrs. thanks.. if anyone would like to contact me please feel free to email me at [protected]@yahoo.com or call me by phone. Walmart discrimination

SM and CSM accuse me of stealing a giftcard along with threatening to kick me out of the store. They both concluded they weren't going to help me due their "theories" so they had me wait for an hour while they sat in the surveillance room trying to come up with a plan to prove I was lying. In the meantime, the CSR that initially helped me showed up at the Customer Service area (where we were waiting) and I explained the situation to her and she agreed that she did put both transactions on one card. So I asked if she could go in the room where both managers were to inform them that she put both transactions on one giftcard and not two (which they accused me of having two). So she did exactly that and when both managers knew they were in the wrong had the nerve to send the CSR back to the Customer Service desk and swipe to gift cards. They both then came out and the SM walked right past us and didn't say anything and the CSR came and said they "miraculously" found the other gift card. I told her she was lying and watched the CSR come out and swipe both cards to make it appear that they found it and wasn't going to stay another hour to have them come up with another lie. So I had her copy all receipts and left the store. Due to the location where this took place (Customer Service area with 10 cameras) and the receipts proving they lied and humiliated me in front of several customers, I can prove that both the SM and CSR showed no integrity with how they handled the situation but also set a bad example in front of several CSR's in showing them how to treat customers in general that have a situation like mine. And to show that when in the wrong to not apologize to the customer but instead to kick them out of the store. I want to make sure these two Managers are dealt with because they continue to give Wal-Mart a bad name.

Recently a friend was denied employment at the Vestal Walmart super center due to a conviction for a misdemeanor in 2003. Shortly after that an employee who has constant problems with an assistant manager found out that this asst manager who brags about being a former State Law Officer was not only forced to resign from law enforcement or be charged with theft of property but also was out on bail for several charges of which one was robbery when he was hired. He plead guilty to one or more of these charges and is still employed as an asst. manager at Walmart. How does this not create some type of discrimination? This asst. manager also smells of alcohol on a regular basis and nobody does anything about it. If anyone would like the newspaper articles on this asst.

Greetings, today at Wall-mart I was denied service at a money center by three managers insisting that I did not have proper ID to receive service. The cashier was respectful and stated that I needed to speak to a Manager if I wished to seek further resolution. Then came Shawn, a customer service manager, whom did nothing in the form of customer service and managed only to encourage other associates to one look with disapproval as though I was somehow wrong. Shawn then called Brian whom was of no help either and he proceeded to call Mr. Smith (Store Manager I believe.) whom stated that in order for me to do business in this way (obtain a moneygram with my name on it) I needed to produce a SSN, Military ID, Tribunal ID, State ID, US Passport. He tells me that my Passport is foreign, I tell him that I have none of the other so-called required documents, but I do have a SAM'S CLUB CARD. He says its still not enough. I then pull out a state authenticated document stating my nationality and my reasons for not having ID. He laughed at it, I asked him if Walmart's policy superceceds the laws of Florida and its jurisdiction, he says yes and further states that the company is private and has its own policy. I stated that he was violating my rights, he said no I am not. I asked him again to look at the documents (to avoid further complications) he said no, I don't need to because I am not in line with Walmart's ID policy. Also, consider that all three Managers circled around the area in a psychologically intimidating manner to deny me my right to enjoy a liberty that other citizens enjoy. I may not be a US citizen, but I am a real life flesh blood person and am afforded unalienable rights by the Constitution.
None of these people cared that my non-use of these devices of ID were an exercise of my rights as a natural person to live free and in service of the Creator. These individuals made light of me proclaiming my nationality, therefore showing deep disrespect for my people, my Creator, and my way of life. I have yet to receive my moneygram.

Sorry this happened to you. Be greatful you dont work for them. If I didnt need some sort of job I would definatly NOT be working for them. I am always searching for a new job to get out of that screwed up "made in China" store. The CSMs that I have had to deal with are nasty ppl and the managers are just as bad. They lie like dirty stinking rugs to not only customers but to employees.

they require certain federal documents for moneygrams, just because you have a sheet that explains why you dont have those documents doesn't mean it is sufficient for a moneygram. pretty much those federal documents that are required can only be obtained by a U.S. citzen

They should have been kinder to you, but their reason of requiring federal ID's may truly be a policy. I understand that that can be upsetting but the constitution does not guarantee your right to be given a moneygram. Have you tried going elsewhere?

Walmart walmart vizio 55 led lcd tv purchase cancelled - bait & switch

Placed a order at dumbcorp.com for a vizio 55"led lcd tv, order went thru, credit card was charged. I selected site-2-store shipping method.
Same day I made 2 of my friends aware of this incredible deal (199.99), of which both of them purchased. The 1st friend, as did i, had our orders cancelled"your order was canceled on 04/20/2011, due to a lack of product availability". The second friend, and last to order, has received his tv, and no amount of calling customer care will get us the tv at the low price of 199.
So we ordered first, and our orders cancelled. The last to order got his tv, no big troubles at all, for the very low price of 199.99
When I check the walmart.com (Dumbcorp.com) website, it says lack of product avail...

Very frustrated with their lack of customer service in this regard. This is false advertising, a bait and switch, dishonest practice which is illegal in the state in which I reside.

Will contact: bbb, attorney general, & para-legal friend, & also file court case.

Funny thing about this is: walmart is going to loose money ether way, they have 1 of 2 options:
1. Give me the tv, take the loss, make a customer happy (It was their mistake).
Or
2. I will continue to pursue this matter so persistently, it will cost them. (Hours spent on phone with reps & agents, lawyers, etc).

If they elect option 2, they will still loose (They loose ether way, they made a mistake), but they will also loose a long time walmart.com & walmart b&m customer.

The reps on the phone have not been able to be of any assistance at all.

Odd way to do business.

Once you are red flagged, you will get the TV, it takes awhile thou

I made prolly a dozen calls, and spent 25+ hours on the phone.

Update by badmodofinga
Apr 25, 2011 2:39 am EDT

what if they charged me 1999, well if they listed the TV at that price then I guess we can say "IT'S A DEAL"

But they lsited it at 199,

Gettindatvizio:
Just gotta keep calling, make sure you explain very descriptively everything that took place, then after explaining it to the rep tell them you would like to speak with a sup.

Once you call in enough, it will RED FLAG your account/order.

It wasn't easy, several calls, and hours of persistence, but they finally caved in.

UPDATE:

Yesterday walmart.com rep said that after careful review, walmart.com has acknowledged their error, and will be fulfilling the orders IF you call back into walmart.com when the vizio 55 inch TV is avail.

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Vizio-M550SV/15992332

So keep an eye out for product availibility, and once avail call into 1-800-walmart, option 2, 2, 5
provide them your order number, explain to them the situation, get your TV!

From a consumer standpoint, it's pretty poor business to give the last guy who ordered his item, and cancel my order, and tell me it was due to lack of avail...

If it weren't for that, then I wouldn't be so perturbed by this incident.

Walmart - blocking the card

On 4/15/2011 I tried to use my card at circuitcity.com and it was declined for $38.01. At first I thought maybe I placed the wrong password and then I tried seven more times and the same thing. So then I went to a DSW and it was declined for $132.49. The card was loaded on 4/14/2011 with $500.00 and before that $1400.00 on 4/11/2011, so there was funds on...

Come on people. When is good old common sense going to kick in. It has been said for years and it has stood the test of time, and I quote, "IF IT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS!" And by probably is, I mean DON'T DO IT! It isn't true. You are all just wasting your own time and getting yourselves all worked up in hopes you would get something for nothing. I mean GEEZ, I'm only 58 and I leaned that lesson when I was 5. It's not that hard of a concept. Get with the program.

Walmart rude, no to help

Well where do I start, about 5 months ago the made the above store a super walmart with everything, big mistake the workers were nice friendly you were able to find what you were looking for, they hired more people big mistake. They workers stand around talking on thier cell phones, they polish thier nails an then put the polish back on the shelf. If ask a worker to help you you commited a crime, like what happen today, I ask a female worker who was pretending to straighten up a shelf if there was anymore celery salt, well she scream for Oscar and Mike niether answered her then she got up and look at the shelf and said the shelf is empty no, I don't believe that in that big store you have no stock in the back. Then for about a month you haven't I a item in the above store when you have it in the other store the item is Kiss 200 full cover nails type active oval, where that item is there is a differant item laying down its been like that one month. Also why when the employess are stocking shelf do they have to fool around and have empty boxes, containers, plastic throw all through the isles so you can't get through if you say excuse me they ignore you, walmart is 5 minutes from my house, and am handicapped so that is why we go to that walmart. The shelf where the powder soap is awful its all over the shelf. Ido have a question why is it that all the stores that added bakerys donuts, and above store doesn't? Thank you for your time dissatified customer.

Walmart baby changing station

I needed to change my 4 month old son.I went to the restroom located in back of the store.I layed my diaper bag down and pulled the station out from the wall. When i layed my son down the table was broken with no cord attached, latches broke and he fell.Lucky enough I was paying attention and was able to catch him.Why this wouldn't be installed correctly or maintained the right way blows my mind.As to other parents my children are the most important thing in my life. For me to have to lose my baby to head trauma or even him be hurt by Walmarts Neglience is unexceptable.I am not sure where I will go from here but my first thought is to make sure that all parents know that this could happen to there child. At know time should a customer have to worry about something like this.Words will not express how livid I am and I hope from now on that they are maintained.

Walmart prejudice against native americans

I took my 7 year old son to buy a 4th Nintendo Game for his DS at Hiawatha Kansas Walmart 66434. The little walmart employee acted like he did not want to help my son and I. I asked 3 times if he could open the locked cabinet and let my son pick his new game out. This employee gave us the most prejudiced look I ever seen in my 47 years! He rudely slammed open the cabinet and shouted at my son, "WHICH GAME DO YOU WANT". My 7 year old son pointed to the game and all of a sudden got afraid of this Walmart employee! This Hiawatha Kansas Walmart employee grabbed the game slammed the door shut and took off to the front of the store. I shouted, "WHERE ARE YOU GOING WITH MY SONS GAME" After following him 3 isles he finally said, PICK THIS UP AT THE FRONT" I reported this behavior to the evening WALMART MANAGER IN HIAWATHA KANSAS, And his attitude was just as bad as the Walmart Employee who scared my 7 year old. I informed the Manager I bought 3 games before here at $49.90 Each and a diffrent Walmart Employee each time handed them to my son with a smile and said, "I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT TIME WITH THIS GAME" The Hiawatha Walmart Evening Manager replied, "I THINK HE JUST DID WHAT HE WAS SUPPOSE TO DO" I told my son, these people act like this because of our skin color! I told my son we will not spend our money here anymore for games. We drove round trip to the next closest Walmart in Saint Joseph Missouri 90 miles to buy the game and was treated like a human being. This is why I say THE WALMART STORE IN HIAWATHA KANSAS 66434 DOES NOT CARE FOR NATIVE AMERICANS!

Heck, Wal Mart treats thier employees like crap regardless of colour. If your a good employee and do your job well the managers will beat you down and break your spirit thus taking away your desire to do any bettter. However most (not all) of the younger generation has an attitude problem and if you didnt before working for Wal Mart you soon will. It has nothing to do with skin colour.

That is weird because I have the same experience every time I get a video game at Walmart, and I'm as white as it gets. I do know that they employees are supposed to take any game more than $25 directly to a register because of the high risk of theft. I'm not going to pretend I know what it is like to be treated with discrimination, but based on what you wrote, I'm not seeing discrimination here either. I see the typical service that Walmart is known for...crap.

Walmart bait and switch

On March 16, 2011 I was shopping online for wooden swing sets for my son’s 4th birthday. I found the Adventure Play Sets Columbia Wooden Swing Set on Walmart.com for $399. I was excited about the price, and the free site to store shipping was an added bonus. I shared my findings with two of my coworkers (who will gladly provide written statements), and I also took a picture on my cell phone and sent it to my husband. My husband and I discussed the swing set for a couple of days, but finally reached the decision to purchase it. When I went back online, the swing set was out of stock but still priced at $399. Since the set was only available online (not in stores), I monitored the website almost daily for a couple of weeks for the set to become available again. Finally, on the morning of Monday, April 11, 2011, the set was once again available and I ordered it immediately. Later that day, I went back to the website to check the status of my order and I noticed that the swing set was out of stock again. The status of my order was “in process” but the payment had been made so I assumed I was lucky enough to get one of the limited amounts while they were available.
On Tuesday, April 12th, I checked the status of my order again hoping for a better estimated time of arrival so that I could start planning my son’s birthday party. I was absolutely shocked to see that WalMart.com had changed my order, and that they were shipping a swing set that I did NOT order. I was even more shocked when I found the posting for the swing set that I did order, still out of stock but with an increase in price to $499! I immediately contacted Customer Service via email and instructed them to cancel my order and to refund my money. I took the time later that day to send another detailed email to [protected]@walmart.com. The response that I received to both of those messages was a generic return policy. I responded to those messages informing them that I was going to file complaints with the BBB and with any blog that would listen, in hopes that such a response would force Walmart.com to address the real situation. They responded and apologized that the swing set in my order was not the swing set that I “preferred.” I believe that Walmart.com baited me with the swing set that I wanted, and once they received my money they switched my order to a less popular swing set that I did not want. Now, I have to wait for a swing set that I did NOT order to arrive before my money will be refunded. Then, I believe that they decided that since this set was so popular, they were going to increase the price.
I am including a photo of the swing set that I ordered, being offered on www.bargainsaddict.com through Walmart.com for $399. This ad was posted on 4/10/2011. This is the swing set that I watched for a few weeks and eventually purchased, but it’s not the swing set that Walmart.com is sending to me.
On 4/13/2011 at 5:59am MST, Walmart.com Customer Service guaranteed that I would receive a phone call within one business day to help resolve this issue. It has been 24 plus hours without any contact.

When stores stock Hundreds of items, odds are that something will get mis-priced. The issue with the blueberries was probably a minor pricing error.

I bought blueberries at Walmart recently and i got into their bait-and-switch rip-off "deal" where the price on the shelf was displayed $2.48 but the cash register charged me $1.30 more, which was $3.78! Now that's a rip-off! I noticed that and went and got my money back, but the returns department held me for a long time and she acted if the computer is down then she went to check the price and did not come back for 6 minutes! She probably went to a restroom! And IRS and the Revenue Department probably secretly supports such fraud, because they will get more sales taxes that way! And you will be out of your money faster if you are foolish enough not to check everything at the cash register or soon after!

Walmart delivery

Walmart.com states a range that product will be delivered using site to store. Today is the last day of their scheduled time. They have had over 10 days, I tried calling the store it is to arrive at and they became somewhat rude with their "When it arrive we will contact you, if you don't hear from us then it isn't here" attitude. So I asked since it is due to arrive can I take one from the store and you replace it when it arrives. They were like "NO! That would mess up our inventory". They proceeded to explain that my order is coming from another "store" and that is from their inventory not the stores I am at.
The girl was so worried about messing up the stores inventory and less about customer service. The ONLY reason I ordered online was the store did not have any in stock originally but then got some in. My choice was to cancel the order which showed it was on the truck for delivery or wait. I have given Walmart the full time they asked for and the people act as if I am an inconvenience to them... nice. Also, Walmart.com does not offer a phone number to call, they provide an email link. I have not received any replies to my inquiries yet.
