Walmart - prescription

This is regarding the walmart that is at 189 Route 46 West, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663. The pharmacy department has lost my prescription and now they are playing the blame game, I just wanted to know where can I complain against them. I have been there 3 times for my prescription but still I don't know where it is.

If anyone knows the number please reply back to this post.

Perhaps since it is a common medication, it may be used by other patients and they had plenty to fill on those particular days. If it was on a weekend, the pharmacy sometimes won't get more stock until Monday, depending on whether it is coming from the warehouse or from McKesson. McKesson delivers Monday-Friday, and the warehouse Tuesday - Saturday. The fact that you state you left your prescription at the pharmacy for 2 days, then complain that you would need wait for another day without your medication (totaling 3) says to me that you do not plan very well. I think you should have brought the prescription in BEFORE you ran out of your medication, since you're on it all the time. That, or requested a refill from the pharmacy to contact your doctor.

I agree that they should have contacted you about being out of the medication, but you ran out of it as well.

The problem isn't limited to your store(s). In N.W. Florida there are some Walmarts that have the same problems. The pharmacy just isn't run professionally or responsibly. I suggest that all with problems contact WalMart store headquarters and share your problems. I understand the pharmacy is independently run BUT if it affects over all store business, something will be done. My family's experiences have been bad also. I have to take heart medication but the last time I went in, they didn't show me having insurance. According to their records, my wife did. Actually it is my plan and she is on it. DUH. Our son is disabled and his insurance is gov't. but they often show he has no insurance until we
throw a fit, then suddenly it "comes up" on the computer there. People waiting in the long
pick up lines sound like the grumblings of a potential mob with all the complaints. The local Pharmacist just shrugs the complaints off as not his problem. We are in the process of moving our business to Public's and of course much of the other items we need will be bought there also.

This is regarding Wallmart store 2582 in Clinton, NJ (right off 78 by Cracker Barrel) . I had a prescription dropped off for 2 days - I had some time to pick it up... when I went to get it, they said they did not have the medication... it's a really common med - most pharma's should have plenty in stock... I have NEVER had problems getting it filled at any other pharma and I've been on this stuff for like, 4 years now... anyway, the clerk told me they were out and didn't know when they were getting a new batch... Wallmart Pharma NEVER called me for 2 days to tell me they were not planning on getting any medication in stock or that they were out.
Thank GOD this is not a life saving medication.
I asked why didn't they call and tell me and she said, "I dunno... I wasn't here the past 2 days..." I said, "I don't mean YOU Personally, I meant the pharmacy in general - certainly YOU aren't only one working here"...She said to call today.. which I did and this very nasty clerk answered the phone and said "well, if we didn't have it yesterday, why would I think we'd have it today"... I told her I would like her to check and see when they were going to get it, because I'd have to go to another pharmacy. Then ms. nasty got all nice and said, "Oh, let me check for you... we should be getting it soon". Low and behold, she told me it is 'scheduled to be in this afternoon's shipment". So, lucky me... I get to go 3 days now possibly without getting my med. I told her to call me and she jotted down my number - I am not holding my breathe on getting the call as to yes or no that they have the med... I'll just go to another pharma... This lack of customer service and crappy attitudes of the slobs who work there are the #1, 999 reason why I don't shop at the CLINTON NJ WallMart anymore. The only reason I go the for my script is because it's close to my hosue, but no more - I'll drive a few extra miles for the pure joy of knowing wallmart ain't gettin' another penny of mine!
