My husband and I put down a deposit for a German Rottweiler puppy (male) in November 2015. We were told there was a litter due in a couple of weeks and if the dogs had more than one male he would let us know. And if not we were given the option of getting pick of the litter with another mating. My husband suffered a work accident and I contacted Ruben to let him know that we would not be able to purchase a dog because we could no longer afford it. He was very understand and said he would definitely refund us the $500 as soon as he sold a puppy. On 3 different occasions he told me he would refund us. As months went by and I heard nothing and received no deposit. I called him and he said he had changed his mind and could no longer refund us because the litter born in November had all been born with white chests and 3 other people wanted refunds. I told him we had an agreement and that shouldn't be altered because of other people also backing out. He isn't producing quality dogs. He's a backyard breeder with a few lucky wins and titles. He breeds these dogs because he needs the income. Not because he wants to maintain the integrity of the German Rottweiler. I eventually filed a small claims lawsuit which he didn't show. Judge ruled in my favor and he submit a motion to vacate because he said he needed to stay home because his child was depressed from being bullied at school. Ruben Rodriguez has no limit to how far he would take these lies to get his way. AKC and all the other Rottweiler clubs he belongs to should strip him of the few titles he has. He's a disgrace to those breeders who truly do produce top dogs.

I purchased one dog from Von Der Obersten Rottweilers she was to be bred to a dog on my choice which she was all went well I was very pleased. Some time later I purchased another female Rottweiler from Von Der Obersten Rottweilers I picked the male I wanted her bred to and also gave a second choice.After the dog was confirmed pregnant I paid the balance and they sent me the dog August 3, 2015. She was not anything like what Ruben described to me I didn't get the AKC papers on the dog (Aisa) when she arrived I called Ruben many many time all I got was lie after lie, the puppy were born on Sept. 1, 2015 and still no AKC papers on Aisa one application was filled out by some one from Von Der Obersten Rottweilers and my name was forged! I finally received the AKC paper for Aisa on Nov. 2, 2015. I now started to registered the puppies. As we got into registering the puppies I learned the Ruben Rodriguez had been lying to me about who the sire of the puppies was... He had been telling me ever since the breeding that the sire was the dog I picked Orrendo Vom Hach Klasse that was July 5, 2015 and that was not the truth Orrendo was not the sire of the litter.. He knew that was not who the sire was but he lied to me the entire time...Because of his lies I didn't get the AKC papers on the puppies until Feb. 11, 2016 the pups were 5 months old he pulled a bait and switch. People need to know about this breeder he should not be allowed to breed and sell Rottweilers who know how many people he has done this to. People like this give dog breeders a bad name... He was going to make this up but he lied about that also...
