Safdarjung Hospital is a Central Government Hospital under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and is receives its budget from the Ministry. Safadarjung Hospital has a Medical College associated with it named Vardhman Mahavir Medical College.

As a student of the college, I can see total mismanagement in running the medical college. One can find no drinking water in the premises of the college, moreover the lifts are not working. If one has to go top floor (6th floor), they have to take staircase. It is really a problem for medical students a well as faculty. Because of no water available for drinking (for past seven days), situation have worsen.

The things are deteriorating and will keep rolling like this unless and until a step is taken from Ministry of Health and Family welfare to improve the basic necessities. Things were lot better when the college was run by Principal & MS Dr. Jagdish Prasad.

Please look into the matter and kindly take necessary action to improve infrastructure and management of VMMC.
