Acai Berry "Free" trial

I signed up for this so called Free trial, because it was free! Obviously I was naive to think it would be. I accepted the £3.95 shipping costs, but didn't delve deeper and had no idea I was going to be charge £74 x 2 for this absolute load of rubbish.

These people are just scamming vulnerable people. OK maybe we're foolish enough to think it will work and that we're getting something for free. Why on earth would anyone willingly agree to pay this much money for this product.

I believe there must be many many people out there who have fallen for this and feel trapped. I'm a single mum and absolutely do not have £150 of free cash to just waste on this crap.

Would love to hear if anyone has successfully managed to get any money back out of VIV3. I've called but get the automated response they obviously give to everyone that I should've read the terms and conditions.

I read the terms and conditions and cancelled via email (support@viv3.com) well before the 15 day trial period was up and yet they activated my subscription anyway and charged my cresit card. I contacted my credit card company and they reversed the charge. Viv3 is definitely a scam. You may also want to check out the complaints under Viv3 and Viv3 Labs - it's the same company.

The F$%£ing Ba$!£rd$. I am going to the Trading standards on this one and also reporting them to the police for fraud. I am going to put in a cliam in the courts under the 'Small Claims' scheme.
I also ordered the free smaple and they charge me £15.15 for the postage, even though it said £3.95, I then recieved another package containing the same amount as the free sample with a bill for £82.95. That's it, I'm out of money until the end of the month now (10/08).
I am livid. I will let everyone know the outcome of all of my dealings with the authorities.
Perhaps we can get a class action going against them. Anyone up for this reply here.

I am an ex Local Billing employee, the owners of www.acaiberryexclusive.com, www.acaiberry-lifecleanse.com and another sites with these fake diet products.

The owners of those sites are Clay Douglass ( http://www.linkedin.com/in/claydouglass) and Mitch Platt (http://www.linkedin.com/pub/mitch-platt/4/271/878) and their plan is to scam as much possible and, then, go for another product and do the same (SCAM).

Please advice your bank about the following information, then they will contact VISA/MC authorities and they will stop this. And ask for a refund in your bank, you haven´t signed something and you have the right to get your money back (it is a VISA/MC rule).

It is easy to contact them through the information who appears on the site registration of acaiberryexclusive (in www.acaiberry-lifecleanse.com they used a marketing company to hide the real owner):

ACAIBERRYEXCLUSIVE.COM - Whois Information
Registrant:
Douglass, Clay clay.douglass@viveraglobal.com
Viv3 Lab Limited
Unit 5, Mill Road Industrial Estate
Linlithgow, WL EH49 7QY

Domain name: ACAIBERRYEXCLUSIVE.COM

Viv3 Lab Limited
Unit 5, Mill Road Industrial Estate

Also, you could find these scammers on the following email addresses:
clay.douglass@localbillinglimited.com
mitch.platt@localbillinglimited.com
claydouglass@gmail.com

And, finally, the physical address of the company at Barcelona (they are operating all business from there and you could inform this to the police):
Local Billing / Tucana Corona
C/Pau Claris, 100
08009 Barcelona
Spain

Hi!
Not sure why all of you seem to have so much trouble to cancel. I just called the number which appears on my bank statement: 00 44-20-30510825

Although I had to wait around 30 seconds till someone answered the phone, the cancellation of the account was no problem at all. The person on the phone was actually very nice and after a minute it was done and canceled.
