Victim of incorrect identity

I am a recent victim of ER Solutions. I received a letter today (April 23, 2008) regarding a debt for someone with my same name. They said that I owe a health club over $3000. However, I've made all my payment to the health club and found it puzzling. The agent I spoke to was very condescending and rude. He did not care to hear my explanation but instead laughed what I had to say and belittled me. The agent also informed me that this debt was hurting my credit score and told me it was at the lower 500s. Needless to say, I was in awe at his behavior and floored at the treatment I was receiving. I therefore, made phone calls to the health club and after some research and investigating, I found out that I share an exact name with someone else. This person's account is the one in collections and I was getting her mail. I asked for payment history on my account and will use it as evidence when I dispute my claim to ER Solutions and their parent company, CRI. I also went to retrieve my credit score and reports from all 3 credit bureaus and found that there were NOT any late payments nor defaulted accounts on my credit report as stated by the previous agent for this health club as ER Solutions has accused me of.
I will be writing a long, lengthy dispute letter to ER Solutions, their parent company, CRI, and senior management. I am astounded by the behavior and actions of these people. Their lack of class and professionalism towards their clients is disgusting. With this kind of disrespectful and distasteful attitude, how can they expect a cooperating response from clients who do actually owe them money? If this is the behavior of the agents, what kind of people are senior management?
