I thought it was a free ringtone next minute I am being billed 9.99. I didn't ok this charge. Do not want the bill. Just happened a second ago.

Here are the problems with Verizon
1. Anyone can walk into a wireless store and add 'features' to your plan. They make no attempt to verify account information.
a. My response to these changes were smehwhat slow as Verizon Wireless is not, in fact, Verizon that handles the 'one bill' feature. Since the delay from paper to internet oly billing help up account details I went two months with this extra data service.
b. In order to remove the service, the verified my name, my wifes name, called the cell number, and thoroughly checked account information. So, umm, lots of work to verify the removal of service and NO work to verify account information to add services? That is a fradulent business plan.
2. It apears the wireless account has a different cycle then the land-line account. This dealys the delivery of the one-bill so that 2 of the 3 week grave period is already gone before a bill notice even appears. Wow? This is a digitial account with digital biling. Hey, fix that!
3. The payment is reported to the digital account roughly 2 weeks after it is approved. This means it looks like you have not paid your bill, to an on-line ccount view, for 2 weeks after it has been paid, and thus 4 weeks after the bill closing date (since the bill is emailed out 2 weeks after the closing date). This, of course, causes a lot of confusion as well.

In the end Verizon must:
Speed up billing.
Speed up the reporting of the receipt of payment
Intgrate the wireless side of the company with the landline side
perform account verification when addising services

Just so Verizon understands - EVERY OTHER company out there can handle these very basic steps of billing and verification.
Sheesh!
