Burns Enterprises charges credit cards and does not deliver product.
Liam Burns - PR rep lies regarding policies that apparently change between order and delivery time.
Over a span of 6 weeks, I have been given every excuse in the book as to why it is legal for his business to charge me and take "more time" to deliver.
I have also been told that their business doesn't have time to deal with my "insignificant bickering".
The information provided on their website is probably wrong because there is no apartment number on this multi-family home. This is probably a fraudulent business run out of someone's basement. I am going to try a local police report and see what comes out...

Hello,

I am a representative from the company and I would like to offer a rebuttal to PMV123's statements.

The website had the item listed at 2-4 weeks for a delivery time inside the USA, this is because the item was on backorder - Keep in mind the website clearly stated this.

The item was shipped from our warehouse to an international address the customer provided using first class international mail from United States Postal Service exactly 14 days after the customer placed the order. (Well within our time frame listed on the website for shipping)

The instant the customer received shipping notification he began demanding a refund stating we did not ship the item quickly enough. We explained to him the website clearly listed the shipping at 2-4 weeks and considering it was going to an international address it might take slightly longer - we were simply following the shipping policy listed on the website.

The customer demanded that we refund him immediately... Even though item has already been shipped and he has not returned it back to our warehouse for restocking.

Customer service is one of our main concerns as we strive to provide quality service for every consumer. We went ahead and issued a refund back onto the original card the customer used to pay for the order, even before he returned the unit back to us. FYI: Refunds going back onto credit cards can take a number of business days to show up onto the account. This is true with just about any retailer and any credit card company.

After 12 hours after the refund was issued the customer began a rampage stating we are a fraudulent company because his refund did not show up quick enough, completely disregarding basic time standards involving refunds onto credit cards.

As it currently stands the customer has been issued a full refund of the original purchase and the company has not received any return of the product.

Anyways, we're on week 7. I have not received a product to return to you for restocking and neither have I received a refund. Somewhere on your rebuttal, your stories don't match.

Even if you are not at fault, you have to agree that your customer service has a horrible attitude that the customer is always wrong.

We are available M-F 9am-5pm EST to answer any questions. Please call us at 1-877-ECIG-INC . We are a reputable business and we carry only the best product currently available. We do not operate in any type of fraudulent manner and the customer writing these negative reports about us is in regards to a LOST international shipment (which was shipped for free) which was shipped by our company, the customer was also refunded their full purchase price. We would never refuse a customer a refund on a package that was lost, we simply told this customer to wait a little longer to see if it would show up. Sometimes with international shipments, the post office in that country holds the product and then contacts the customer via mail to come to their post office and pick up the product. This has happened many times for us, not once did we ever tell this customer that we were refusing them a refund, we just asked them to wait. This customer(who we will leave anonymous because we respect our customers privacy even if they badmouth us), who received the refund, decided to write negative things about our company on several consumer reporting websites, utilizing different user names and pretending to be different people.

We ask you to call us and talk to one of our live customer service representatives if you are unsure about doing business with our company and also to throw out any statements made by PMV123 and Jack123 who are obviously written by the same person.

We are not and will not ever be a fraudulent company, nor have we ever acted in that manner.

This company is def. a fraud. Do not listen to these reps. The author of this article is right! Do not buy anything from electroniccigarettesinc.com truly a scam.

Sounds like fraud to me! I'm so tired of these companies trying to fraud the common person; I'm glad you posted this article but am sorry for your experience with this one. I know now not to order from them.

I am dealing with this company now. They state that they shipped the product, and I paid for priority shipping, and its been nearly a week and still no item. What the catcher is, and this is why I know that they're lying, USPS doesn't even show a pickup for the item on their tracking. USPS might be slow, but they scan their items when they get them. I have done a great deal of shipping via ebay with USPS (for 6+ years), and have never had a package lost. I think this company is a fraud too.

I finally received my goods. I received a call from one of their reps to confirm that I had received my product, and to get me to update my post here. It wasn't priority shipping, so I was refunded the cost. I was happy about that. In fact, I placed another order for more cartridges the next day.

My concern here, and also observation, is that they are spending a lot of time doing damage control rather than doing it correct the 1st time around. This isn't the way you win over customers. You have a lot of competition out there.

If my next shipment comes without hassle, I will continue on buying from them, however, if its late again (I paid for priority shipping again) my complaint stands and will either go to another electronic cigarette, or find another distributor of cartridges for this cig.

I have put in my 3rd purchase. USPS shows that its been received. Ecigs are doing their job. At this point, I have to say that they are NOT a scam, or they are giving me preferential treatment because I complained, either way I really doubt they're a scam at this point. There's things that I would suggest they do different to give the customer the comfort of knowing that their product is on its way. I have had to ask for a tracking number for my last 2 shipments. They have been more than happy to provide it, but it should be sent once the postage has been printed. Just a few bumps in the road. But to the folks at ecigs...you need to keep your customer service tip top. This is going to be a competitive business in the next decade. If your customers know that they can trust that their "fix" will come to them when they expect it to, you will have a customer for life. I hate to put it that way, but it is the truth.

My last update here for this company. They're good. They need some customer service training, but they have a good product. I had received my screwdriver unit, and the bottle of liquid was 1/2 gone due to a loose cap. I made mention to them, and they are sending me a replacement bottle. That was more than I had expected. I figured a $10 credit, but a replacement bottle. Nice job guys. I think they have worked out their problems, and for what its worth, I think that they're a good company who is having some growing pains. Guy's remember that the customer is your priority.

I think we need more people to verify that this is not a scam, because for all we know aszure could be one of the people working for the company. I'm not trying to bad mouth this company but I have been on the wrong side of a scam before and its not very fun. So we'll see what happens down the road before I trust a virtually unknown "mail-order" company.

Nope, I dont work for em. I purchase my stuff through a few different companies now, and not ecigs. Frankly, I found the other companies to have a better selection, customer service, and quality. Volcano, vapor4life and others. Ecigsinc isnt a scam, but I think a company that needs some work. When you type ecigsinc name into google, and the 1st thing you see after their site is articles about them being a scam, you have to assume someone in the company isn't doing their job right.

WOW, I was excited that I felt like I finally had a solution to my addiction. After reading all oif these comments I am not quite sure what to do. The last thing I need in my life is another battle with an automated phone number. The one thing that I did not read was if the product worked! Which for me in this economy would be another scam. The smokers out here are having a hard enough time putting down the ****** cigs. The last thing we need to have is another situation on our hands. Maybe I will just go to the mall and buy the blasted things.

Ok please someone tell me, does this product work?

The ecig does work, however be careful of who you deal with. I have been tobacco free for 6 months. I have done business with Vapor4life, puresmoker, totally wicked and have had fantastic results. Do some research before you send anyone your credit card info or waste your time.
