fraudulent international credit card transaction
Today at 18:00 SAST ValleySeek submitted a fraudulent and unauthorised credit card transaction against a credit card expiring in 24 hours. We have contacted the bank to freeze the account and reverse payment. We have tried in vain to get a hold of ValleySeek on their contact details provided. We have left messages. The transaction was for close on $500. Does the US have the equivalent of a consumer rights ombud to help with investigations?
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
No credit for returned purchase.
Under RMA# 723217 I returned a Garmin TOPO U.S. 100K map purchased on order# 1962. The item was delivered by UPS on 7/7/11 (tracking # 1Z4AR8080302090736). It has been 8 weeks since the item was returned, and I still have not received a credit, nor a response to my e-mailed inquiries.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME SOME TIME BACK WITH ANOTHER COMPANY. I HAD A FRIEND OF MINE AT THE TIME WHO HAPPENED TO BE AN ATTORNEY, HE SENT THEM A LETTER THREATENING THEM WITH LEGAL ACTION, AFTER THEY RECEIVED THAT LETTER, WITHIN A DAY THEY CREDITED ME BACK MY MONEY
Upon returning home item was missing. Contacted Rohit Dewan at Valleyseek who filed a claim with Fed Ex (Claim#[protected]). On October 26th refund was issued to Valleyseek by Fed Ex. I have yet to receive a replacement or credit from Valleyseek. I have tried numerous times to contact with Rohit Dewan via email and phone but I have yet to receive a response.
