I'm 9 month pregnant; I was staying in the line to pick up parcel from Des Plaines USPS. When it was my turn employee Ray took someone from the end of the line and told me to go back to the line. He was very rude and obnoxious to me. I told him that I do not fill well and she should wait her turn like I did. He told me to go back to the line and be quiet. I started yelling that this is discrimination and I would like to talk to manager, he told me to go a get one. Customer next to me - a guy - start yelling at me also that I should be quiet and that no one cares that I'm pregnant. He asked me do I at least know who the father of my baby was. I told him that this is not his f... business, so RAY kicked me out - pregnant women from the post office, not the bad-mannered guy. I went to post master, post master told me that that was my fault and I should be nicer to the other customers. Other customers can be rude to me. I called 1800 number they said the same that there is nothing what they can do. No one cares at the USPS. I called my lawyer; he said that this is government and union jobs there is nothing he can do.

To the Administrator: Please hire an employee with a positive attitude at USPS Branch in Des Plaines.
If there was a zero rating, I would give it a 0 for clerical name " REY P.". Rey has no customer service and very rude towards to his customer. Rey should not work at the front desk assisting customer. Rey's arrogant attitude gives a negative impact towards business.

OK...IsabellaZ is not entirely wrong and you folks shouldn't be making snide remarks if you weren't there. Rey Pangilinan is the postal worker at the front desk in the Des Plaines PO she is referring to and she is correct. He's been there for years and probably isn't going anywhere which is why he is an arrogant bully. It's a government job and he has all the protection he needs to keep his job. I have also been subjected to this arrogant, mean behaviour. He tried to rip me off for $10.98 additional postage after what I had already paid online with the click n ship method. He refused to acknowledge the discounted postage through click n ship, was telling me I did it incorrectly and I owed the full amount as shown on his "scale". The scale at the counter he was using to calculate postage does not, I repeat does not calculate the online click n ship discount. The point of purchasing the postage online was to pay less since it was a large package. He's one of those people who doesn't like his authority being questioned. I had to get the supervisor involved and he was wrong. I had to produce the online paperwork showing the $10.98 discount, the supervisor accepted the package and that was that. This guy needs to go back to the country he came from.

Sorry Isabella neither you nor I can get this guy fired or even reprimanded and you're correct in that the USPS doesn't really care how it's customers are treated however they do care about money. I for one will be sending my packages via another carrier and pay ALL of my bills online rather than just a few. The USPS will no longer be getting my money to pay the salaries of bullies.

Next time you go to the post office make sure you're not pregnant.
