I found this topic through a Google search, as I've just been swindled out of around £80. This is after their supposedly 'free' 14-day trial, which also cost me around £1 or so.i just want to trail them service?who give you the permission that take my paypal money automatically?

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience you had with UseNeXT.
To make sure it is clear what our service is all about we would like to explain what UseNeXT is and how it works. UseNeXT is an usenet provider which comes with easy and safe software to enter the worldwide network of the usenet. It is fairly simple to gain access: all you have to do is signing up on our website and you can start.
The first 14 days, the so called trial period, are completely for free and you can check out all about our program. During the trial period you can cancel your membership any time. If you do not cancel, your account will automatically be recharged -in accordance with the terms of the contract - with our smallest yearly package, the UseNeXT 30+.
It is not our intention to give incorrect or untruthful information on our website or hide anything referring to the trial period or the contracts.

UseNeXT it is not free

THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS A COMPLAINT I SENT TO USEMEXT. IT WILL EXPLAIN THEIR PLYS OF SNARING PEOPLE TO PART WITH THEIR MONEY.

i have had a usenext account in the name of [protected]@fast4.net and my husband has his own account in the name of [protected]@fast4.net for some time now. when it can for me to log in to my account to recharge it my username and password would not work even though you resent them to me on this date. i decided to use my husband account to do my downloads but upon trying to recharge i kept getting an error message advising me to contact customer support which i did. after a wait of around 30 minutes i spoke to an advisor who told me there was no problem with my account or my husbands account that the problem must be with paypal. that maybe if i had another email addres i could try it again and see if it would work. this phone call cost me 15.00GBP. i decided to join in my daughters email address to see if i could recharge from it. i joined with the email address [protected]@yahoo.co.uk but with my name. i paid via paypal as i thought this was the safest method. i awaited my log in instruction email which i never received. i know in the terms and conditions it stated that i had to cancel the free trial within 14 days of it ending or an automatic payment would come out so i was very concerned. i needed the password and account number to log in so i could cancel the account. i could obviously not do this so i telephoned customer support in germany. it took me 25 minutes but i eventually got through. they advised me the account had been cancelled but there was no obvous reason why the email had not come through to me and that it must be my anti spam software blocking the email. they advised me to use a different email account to see if i could get some success and to unblock usenext from the spam blocker. i did this although usenext was never blocked by my spam blocker in the first place i simply did not receive the email with the log in details. the advisor told me the paypal payment would not be taken as the account had been cancelled.

i joined again with my cousins email address who lives with me [protected]@fast4.net but in my name. i again paid via paypal. i did not receive any log-in info again. i therefore could not download the software which i had removed from my laptop or indeed cancel the free trial. i double checked my email spam and my firewall and nothing from usenext was getting blocked. i phoned usenext support again at the cost of 5GBP they told me the account had not been setup correctly and i would have to try again. try again i did and eventually i was signed up but i again did not receive any log-in info so i could get the software back on my laptop and start to use my free trial. i phoned usenext again to acertain what was happening. they told me that the account in the address of [protected]@fast4.net did not exist on their system so they therefore could not gain access to it. they told me the paypal payment would not have gone through as the account had been cancelled. they said i must try another email address. i asked them to cancel the [protected]@fast4.net account they said it must have already been done because they could not find it on their system. i told them the trial was only for 14 days so that meant canceling the day you joined. yes they said and assured me the account had been cancelled.

i then tried to join again in the email address of [protected]@fast4.net my son johns email account i did not receive the log in details for this account either had been cancelled i would therefore have to use a different account to log in. i explained my problem with the 4 different email addresses. they advised me to try again to join with a different email address as they problem was with the payments to pay pal. they said paypal did not recognise my email addres with them because the paypal email address i gave was different to the one i gave them. i started to get very upset at this point as i had been trying to join all day

i joined again in the email address [protected]@fast4.net which was an old email address of my daughter ruby. she even joined in her name to see if the problem was because of my name. she received her lo in details ok and downloaded the software to her laptop. she then downloaded a few things. she then cancelled her account via your cancellation page. she did not receive a cancellation email so i telephoned usenext for her. when i spoke to an advisor i was assured the account had been cancelled and an email would be received soon confirming it and that it must be stuck on her server. i started to get suspicious at this point as to why my daughter could join but i could not. i asked the advisor if it was because of the name change. they advised me this was not the that the problem must be with the email servers not forwarding the log-in details to me they then assured me all the accounts had been cancelled so i did not have to worry about future payments coming out from my account. they told me to try again to join up and if i was not sucessful i should contact my email server.

i tried again to join usenext in the email address of [protected]@zaggle.co.uk which is my old email address but was still active. i again did not receive any log in details after making payment to usenext via paypal. i knew it could not be the server because this was a different server than other other email addresses. i tried again and again and after a few hours i received my log-in details. i logged in to my account and downloaded my allowance. i started to get suspisous at this point so i did a web search about usenext and discovered people had all kinds of problems with them. from taking out payments when accounts had been cancelled to changing peoples subscriptions without their knowledge. i cancelled my account via your link and decided to never use your company again. i had not received a cancellation email by the next from usenext so i again telephoned to confirm it. they said they had no knowledge of the cancellation. that i must log in to my account and cancel the subscription within 14 days. by this point there was only 13 days left of my subscription i was advised this would not be a problem and the account would still be cancelled. that i only had to cancel the account at any point during my 14 day free trial to stop the automatic payment coming out of my account. i logged in again and cancelled my account. i still did not receive an email confirming this. i telephoned usenext again they said the email had been sent so it must be stuck on the server. so i trusted the advisor as i had never had a problem with usenext before and neither had my husband. UNTIL...

on 14 january 2009 i received 5 emails from pay pal stating you took 5 payment of 95.35 EUROS from my pay pal account. not only this but you had taken the first 5 original payments too when in reality only 1 should have been taken as only 1 account had been set up sucessfully. you had advised me on many occasions that the original payments would not be taken from paypal. this was a lie. you took all the 1 EURO payments plus all the automatic payments for accounts you stated had been cancelled. this really is a shame because i have enjoyed using usenext and never had a problem with you until 30 december 2009. i did not notice the 1 EURO payments coming out from my paypal accounts as i have been on holiday for a week. upon my return when i downloaded my emails i received them all from paypal stating the 10 payments had been made to you. I did not authorise you to take these payments from my account as far as i was aware the accounts had been cancelled and they had not even been activated. the only one i was aware of was the [protected]@zaggle.co.uk account and i was told this account had also been cancelled. i did eventually receive about 30 emails from you on 14 january giving me all my login details for the 5 accounts. as you can see from my account history i would never have the need to download 125GB per month for a year. why would i want to join the same account 5 times. I want a full refund of the 5X 95.35 EUROS and 4X1 EURO. upon looking at many forums on the internet i see this is not the first time you have done this. you have many ways of snaring money from people. i have reported this matter to paypal. they were not very helpful and said well you did sign up 5 times and you knew it was an automatic charge 14 days later. i told them i did not authorise the 5 sign ups. i tried to explain the above to them but they are not interested. they told me to log in to my usenext account to see if they had indeed been cancelled and you had taken the payments in error. i did this and discovered you had not cancelled the accounts when you stated you had done. i have now cancelled the accounts and straight away i received the cancellation emails. this was within seconds of cancelling. i find this very suspicious it is only after the 14 day trial after you have taken my money that you send me the emails. i have now reported the matter to american express who have card fraud protection on my account. i will also be reporting this matter to my local police who i suppose will not be interested but i will report it anyway. i would have been quite happy to stay with usenext using my [protected]@fast4.net account or my husband [protected]@fast4.net account topping up with the 9.95 one off payment for 50GB per month with no monthly contract like i had used in in the past. there is no reason why i would ever change this download limit. now i want all my accounts cancelling. i want a full refund and an explanation as to why you have done this. the phone calls to germany have cost me over £80 in mobile phone top ups as it is.

Yes, I also think this is a scam. For one, I did it for an offer (I know not to now). I signed up for the trial, put in my paypal with a PREPAID card. I never got a conformation email so i forgot what the website was. I never used or downloaded anything from the site after that because, like most things on there, I thought it was either a scam with no legal system, support system, copyright ect. So after this I ignored it because of things previously stated. Now I never paid for anything on the site, and they want to charge me 95+ euro. I told the lady who emailed me to cancel it that day. I got an email saying that it was canceled. Thought we were all done then. (Do have to say, pretty fast support.) Then I email back "Is everything clear now?'' I get told no, you still have to pay 95+ euro, but yet I canceled. So then I asked if they could remove the bill from my account (Has been 1/365 days of a membership) and I later received an email saying I STILL had to pay. So I tried to appeal it again, they wouldn't appeal it again because they did once. (4 emails in 2 days < IMPORTANT) Now I have asked for an email of a higher up (Owner, Co-Owner, CEO, ect.) It has been 2 days and have bot gotten a email back. I have 2 main questions, should I be worried about paying this or is it a "fake" website or scam? And what would happen to me if i do not or cannot pay this if the site isn't "fake" or a scam? (Company In EU I live in the US)

I am also a victim in 2016
they require you to call them in Germany during their business hours.
I live in California-USA, Germany is 10 HOURS ahead of me, also international calling is blocked on all of my phones.
They will not respond to any of my emails clearly stating that I want to cancel my membership before the 14 day trial is over. They give you constant error messages and its a way to make it hard for a customer to cancel their membership-rendering it ABSOLUTLY LEGAL for them to TAKE money from innocent people.
They actually want YOU to CALL or get it in WRITING that you are cancelling their services!
my 14-day "free trial" is over in three days, so I've cancelled my account and got a new account number/bank card through my bank in less than 30 minutes. They AREN'T taking my money!

Scott Lane, I had the same thing happen to me. They send no notice if you are signed up or not. You find out when you get charged. Cancelling right away does nothing. At least they didn't get your money, be glad of that.

UseNext is a SCAM... I tried the trial for small fee. Unaware that it would charge $100 automatically after some period. However I had PayPal account and received notification that a charge tried to go thru on PayPal but was declined. So I checked it out and see that UseNext was trying to charge me $100. I immediately canceled the service thru PayPal like other services. However UseNext kept trying to charge PayPal and started sending me notices of payment. I stated I had canceled their service. They said canceling thru PayPal is not accepted. I had tried to cancel from there website and email, but you must jump thru hoops trying to figure out how to do that, good luck on that. UseNext Scams for money. BEWARE... Now I am getting collection letter at my Home...slane_@hotmail.com
Your customer service representatives are vultures... I sent copy of PayPal cancellation and even cancellation thru their web site. They stated that when I canceled thru their website, that it was a day late. go figure...

I had an account with Usenext until August 2015. I was unable to recharge my download volume or make payments. I tried contacting their support but did not receive I reply. I e-mailed them and told them that due to their lack of service I was cancelling my account. About two months later I started receiving e-mails and letters stating that I owed them various amounts of money and that they would commence legal proceedings if I did not pay. I replied on several occasions that I would not be paying as they had breached their part of the contract. I continue to receive e-mails about twice a week and letters every other day requesting payment. I have told them that I will not be paying and to take me to court. This they have failed to do. I will be reporting them to Trading Standards for harrassment.

Don't ever have an account with these people! I was trying to sign up and at the end my computer failed. I thought it didn't work and them I decide not to have it and after 15 days they billed me as if I had an account. They never sent a confirmation email or anything and they made me pay for that. I asked for a refund and they said no, and it was all their fault. They are thief, be careful with what you do!

I am having the same issue with Aviteo Ltd (the usenext company).. I Could not find the link for cancelling the account so I sent them an email before the trial was up.. I deleted all software, , and didnt look at usenext again.. Low and behold I got the dreaded collections notice for $116.00 euros.. it would have been nice if they would have responded to my email..

Ok, that was quick. I have received an email back from UseNext confirming they have received my payment and the matter is now closed. I just hope that is the matter completely cleared up now. But I recommend anyone that is looking for a similar product in the future, DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST. If I would of seen this site and others before I signed up then I would not have signed up. That just cost me money for a service I barely used when I was using the 14 day free trial! I hope everyone else commenting on this forum can get their cases cleared up! I certainly will never use their service again after this.

I totally agree with the complaints stated here. Dean Arden - do you have the info on the case your building? So I signed up for the free trial with UseNext and then cancelled the day before the trial was due to end. The next day I got a years subscription taken out my paypal. I created a dispute with Paypal and got the money refunded by UseNext. I then got a letter in the post telling me I owed money. I contacted UseNext by email and they tried to say I cancelled the day the trial ended, so they clearly hadn't seen my cancellation which I sent the day before the trial was due to end. I paid the money owed on the 9th December 2015 but then just got another letter dated the 10th December 2015 stating I hadn't paid the owed money and that legal action would be taken If I did not pay the money. I was shocked when I saw this letter considering I paid the owed money in full on the 9th December. I have sent an email to UseNext explaining and I've asked for them to send me a receipt. I am awaiting a response from them. I don't want them to take legal action considering I have already paid the money owed on the 9th December. After this is resolved I do not wish to ever use this service ever again. My account is cancelled and it better stay cancelled. I don't see why they need to do things like this when if they were just 100% legitimate then they would find customers who would want to do business with them. Their customer service is absolutely terrible!

I am in the process of being scammed by usenext. I signed up for the "free trial" and cancelled the same day as the tangysoft client would not work on my system. I found it strange that I did not get a confirmation email, but thought nothing more of it. I also cancelled the paypal transactions to usenext at the same time. 9 months later they contact me and demand over 100 euros! I received an email from a debt collector toady and the bill is now 160 euros with fees. They are using the system to defraud people out of money. I am currently in communication with a number of people in similar circumstances to myself, we are putting a case together to shut them down for good. What they are doing is illegal, my first action will be to submit testimony from myself and many other scammed usenext free trial subscribers to paypal, I am sure they would not want to continue to deal with fraudsters.

UseNeXT - auto charging on credit card

Once you sign up you MUST give a credit card. It states you have 14 days to cancel however if you use your gigs during that first day and you want to cancel, you are not allowed to do so. It will give you an error when you try to cancel. This will result in you forgetting about the account and then being charged $115.00 for the year which you will never use.

I tried the free trial of usenext over 2 years ago and while ok wasn't exactly what I was looking for so cancelled before the end of the "free" trial.

A few weeks ago I get an e-mail reminding me I owe them just over £100. Go to usenext and log in to the account I cancelled. Turns out it wasn't cancelled with no way to prove that I in fact cancelled during the free trial. They wait 2 YEARS before sending me a payment demand, no other communication during that time at all. I respond explaining my side of things and asking them to clarify a few points, next e-mail I receive is from a debt collection agency.

A nice big bill for something I've never used. Save yourself grief and stay the hell away from these cowboys.
