USAFIS Organization fraud

I do some basic web design work as a charity for a friend. Whenever his site is launched recently it alos launches one of the Immigration Lottery sites:

http://html3.usagc.org/step1landing_...pepnewPMUSAeng

I looked at his code and I dont "see" anything injected into the code that would indicate it was actually hijacked and redirecting. But I wonder if Im missing some hidden injected code or if the code is on the local PC and now associating it locally. Anyone know any tricks to hunt out the culprit code? MAlware scans reporting nothing.

USAFIS Organization Misrepresentation of service

This company is contacting international residents and advising of a cost (€574) which is almost USD800 for the application for Green Card Lottery. The lottery itself is a free of charge. The actual services that this company is doing is the process of the application each year for 10 years.

As this company DOES NOT advise that the application is free many people are being lied to and handing over credit card details when it's really not required.

After 30 mins of the initial conversation, I lodged a request for refund based on their mis-representation however they will not process. I have requested a cancellation of services, I do not want this fraudulent company representing me when I can be doing this application myself.

I seek a full return of funds immediately.

I made the mistake of signing up with USAFIS, even though I managed to pay about half of the fee they asked they called me today and offered me some VIP program and requested an additional 500 Euros. I told them to call me back so I could do some research and I found this website with a huge amount of negative feedback towards USAFIS and people describing the exact same scenarios I have experienced. USAFIS describes itself as an agent operating on an individuals behalf in submitting the DV Lottery application, in exchange for payment they claim they will submit your application with no errors to improve your chances of being successful however when I checked my profile on USAFIS.org the information I had given them had been filled out incorrectly. Instead of Sydney, Australia they had spelt it Sidney! My street address was also incorrect! I began to suspect things weren't quite right at this point.

It wasn't until after signing up that I realized I could apply for the DV Lottery for free. I implore anybody out there considering using USAFIS to do serious research before doing so, they have an extremely aggressive sales technique and from what I've read it's near impossible to retrieve funds if you cancel. Don't fall for the VIP garbage, they said I was selected out of thousands but I've read nearly every complaint on here people have been offered the same thing. Your best bet is to call the US Embassy in your city or country and ask their advice.

I feel like a real idiot jumping in blindly with USAFIS, but if I can help others avoid it then its not all bad.

USAFIS Organization fraud: no submission number, fake winning letters

I just learnt this is the number 1 scam organization in this field - after I received a funny scam winning letter, claiming that I won in the lottery so I need to send my documents to Thailand! Of course, some fees apply too.
So far, having a 10 years membership with USAFIS, and about the 4th now, I haven't received any confirmation number (that my application was actually submitted in the lottery). I do not understand why doesn't anybody take action against these fake services providing organizations?! Thanks.

I registered for your service a week ago by paying the $10 fee. I was contacted at around 3:00PM last June 28, 2019 by Miss Shelly Jones. I was delighted to hear after giving some personal information that I was qualified to get a US visa, EB-2 visa. She was quite fast. I didn’t really have much time to process what was going on when she started asking me about the important information of my credit card. The visa costs $5, 600. In the transaction of my credit card, she was able to squeeze out $1, 500. She actually asked me how much I could pay for the fee. I think my credit card contained only that much. She pressured me to arrange to pay the rest of the $5, 600 by 1, 100 each month. I might be slow on this but who could blame me I am a citizen in a developing country wishing to get a crack at what America offers.

I WANT TO REFUND THE MONEY I PAID. It’s a big amount here in the Philippines

If you have received an e-mail from usafis notifying you that your application for the diversity visa program has been selected and that u. S. USAFIS Organization usafis diversity lottery (dv) winner

This is a big scammer that is using the name of USAFIS and the US State Department to commit fraud.
They send an email claiming to the USAFIS, however when you look at their address it says: usafis.com.[protected]@post.com
Shortly after you will probably receive an email from the State Department (yeah right!) saying that you need to wire about $800 to some [censored] bag in London who is supposedly an "embassy agent", after dealing with Visas for years I can tell you that:
1. the State Department does not notify people through emails.
2. They don't collect fees through some guy and they definately do not collect fees in a bank in another country. Their explanation is: "The payment must be sent to the above U.S. embassy agent address in United Kingdom because the U.S. Government decided this based on the diplomatic relations with your country." Clearly a SCAM! And there is no embassy at the address given (for those who want to give them the benefit of the doubt). Also, the bad grammar would be another clue that this email is from an ignorant scammer rather than the US State Department.
3. Here is a big clue that this is a SCAM, the email address was: gov.usa.[protected]@usa.com
Both emails were sent from m3kw2wvrgufz5godrsrytgd7.apphosting.bounces.google.com so you know it's the same thieving [censored] bag. DO NOT SEND THE MONEY!
Now, my biggest concern is: how did this idiot get my email address and full name? Is someone from USAFIS leaking the information?
If USAFIS is serious about customer service, they should post warnings on their website with the above information and send emails to all the current customers. Then they should conduct an internal audit to figure out who is selling customers' information and press charges! If I were in the company, I would try to get an investigation going because it affects the company's reputation and this is serious fraud!

Ahmed ahmed, DO NOT SEND THEM ANYTHING. You will receive an email also from a fake State Department. This is a scam. The email is a fake, call USAFIS if you don't believe me. The 1800 number from the website, not the number from the email. They will ask you to pay $800 to the embassy in London. These people are criminals and they have been scamming a lot of people. DO NOT GIVE ANYTHING!

Thank you for bringing this post to our attention. We have launched an investigation into individuals using the USAFIS name to scam people.

Many reputable companies have also experience these types of scam attacks and we have followed their lead in issuing posting Consumer Fraud Alert on our website (http://www.usafis.org/consumer_alert.asp) as well as sending emails to our customers notifying them about the scam and giving them specific details on how to recognize a USAFIS email.

Dear aqualin
If you have not changed your visa card number, immediately call the card company and change your card No.
usafis has a malicious reputation of their business. They will call you up again sooner or later, and then try to get more money.
In some cases, usafis has taken extra money from the applicant's credit card.
Make sure you report your case to" http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx."
This site is run by FBI, and it is the best way to accumulate the scam information of Usafis.
Usafis is subsidiary of DNSR which is Israeli company. They know very well how to avoid the legal penalty.
All we need to do is to spread the information about Usafis, and reduce the future victims.

First thing, you need to change your card number!
Best luck,

Dave Richard,
You claim that the bogus e-mails were not sent by Usafis and someone is using names falsely within a bogus e-mail . My correspondence had information about mysel that was on the application form sent to the legal usafis. It also contained my computer IP addresss. I suspect their was a breach of privacy originating from the legal usafis organzation. I'm starting to worry now because that means they may also have my visa number that I used to pay for the origianl application.. Hekp...

I originally applied to( help desk @usafis.org ) a client service based legal operation but the response came from a bogus e-mail ( usafis.com.com@post.com ) is a Scam. To make matters worse the correspondence had my IP address at the bottom of it. The follow up from (usa.gov.states@usa.com) confirming the win is a fraud. The u.s department of state does not notify winners. Under no circumstance does one send money via western union especially to an embassy in London. Te London embassy has an alert out that the notfcation is a FRAUD. Once again I repeat how did the frauds get the IP numbers of of the individuals who applied to the legal usafis.org. PLEASE RESPOND

Any email that states you have won the Diversity Visa Lottery is fake. The Department of State has never sent emails to notify individuals they have been selected, and The Department of State will not notify Diversity Visa 2012 (DV-2012) winners by email. Emails indicating that you have won the diversity visa are fraudulent. We encourage you to report fraudulent emails to the Internet Crime Complaint Center (http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx)

Status information for DV-2012 will be available from May 1, 2011, on the Department of State Diversity Visa website using the confirmation information given to you at the time of your entry. If you lose your confirmation information, you will not be able to check your DV entry status by yourself, and we will not resend the confirmation page information to you.

Some companies posing as the U.S. Government have sought money in order to "complete" lottery entry forms. There is no charge to download and complete the Electronic Diversity Visa Entry Form. The ONLY valid site to register for the Diversity visa is http://www.dvlottery.state.gov/.

The 2011 and 2012 Diversity Visa entry registration periods have ended. Status information for the most recent Diversity Visa registration period will be available from May 1, 2011.The 2013 Diversity Visa entry registration period will open sometime in Fall 2011.

Diversity Visa lottery applicants for DV 2010 and DV 2011 who were selected were notified by paper mail between May and July of the next year, following DV Online entry.

For more information on the proper process for registering for the diversity visa, please visit the following link:

Hi okadhi,

USAFIS is the #1 application review service for the U.S. Green Card Lottery program, servicing hundreds of thousands of applications a year. By just visiting www.usafis.org, a person can learn exactly what this company does. They are quite clear about its application review services for the U.S. Green Card Lottery program and the differences between using their service as oppose to doing the program alone. USAFIS also has a 24/7 customer service center and provides information about the U.S. Green Card Lottery program in 14 different languages.

This is a great service for those who do not have a great command of the English language, the proper computer tools, or do not work well with timelines. For a small fee, USAFIS ensures a person's application qualifies for the program.

Our clients have expressed their appreciation to us and we have posted some of their testimonials on our website http://usafis.org/Testimonials.asp.

hello, My name is Mick and I was taken by these very unscrupulous people back in late October early November 2010.
I accepted the offer after being harassed for 30mins on the phone and provided them with my credit card details of which they deducted the $ AUS998.00 straight away. I then decided that I was unable to make the trip after considering my work commitments and advised them of my intent to cancel the offer in accordance with their requirements, I did this by telephone, email and land based mail. Almost 3 months went by with no correspondence when finally I checked my accounts whereupon I discovered that no refund had been received so I emailed them. I was given the run around for a while and decided to check their back ground through forums such as this one. I was not happy to sit and wait whilst they promised a refund and began to email every authority within the Florida area, and I mean every authority. I made an absolute nuisance of myself to all known authorities who allowed their email details to be listed on a web site.
I had a number of responses from representatives of those offices referring me onto “Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services” where upon a Mr. Frank Roycraft was identified to me. I was sent an application of which I filled out and emailed it back to him along with all my correspondence that I had entered into with this company. Mr. Frank Roycraft forwarded it onto the company and I have today received a response from Mr. Frank Roycraft with a copy of the response to my complaint that the matter has been dealt with. I went straight to my credit card account and discovered that the monies has in fact been refunded, thanks to Mr. Frank Roycraft.
DO NOT sit back and do nothing let them know you are not a soft target. Florida State has an image to uphold and will do almost anything to ensure that image so make a loud noise to all authorities leting them know that companies like this are not welcome within the business community. Spread the word

GOOD LUCK
Mick

USAFIS Organization waiting for a refund

Waiting for a refund from a 4 year subscription, application number [protected], and nothing!
The USAFIS service is very fast when it gets to receiving money and sell their product but then fails tremendously when it gets to submiting application.

I have no more interest on loosing my time whith this company.

Two months ago, I filled in an application with USAFIS for a green card but didn't complete it. I got a call from an Emma/ Dana Smith 2 days ago who helped me through the application process and when she demanded a payment from my card, i told her i didn't have the money but could pay AFTER TWO WEEKS! She insisted she'd put me through anyway and activate my application, and asked for my card details. She told me if i gave her my card details, my application would be activated even if no money was taken out of my account. She gave me an application number and password and gave me a customer service number which i've since been calling but it's not going through! To my surprise, a day later, money was taken out of my account WITHOUT MY CONSENT/ AUTHORISATION. I am very disappointed and feel robbed.

Miss Smith if you see this, I would like you to refund the total of A$401.55 taken from my account or I'LL HUNT THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE DOWN- So help me God! That money was meant to pay for my 3 year old daughter's school fees. I SAID 2 WEEKS but you decided to steal my hard earned money while praying on my hunger to live & work in the States.

What you've done is wrong. I have informed my bank and believe me, i wont rest till i get EVERY SINGLE PENNY of it back.

Please reply to ssepo12@gmail.com if you don't want any further action to be taken against you.

I am very sorry in a way usafis work, which has sent an email to me that usafis will return my funds no later than 7 working days, it turns out after my notes, he said it the wrong email address appropriate for others.
why usafis very unprofessional at all, would not he serve millions of people in this world?

there is one thing that annoyed me, that I've canceled my vip member 1 year ago and asked for my money back, but I actually registered back to the GC program loterry. so usafis no reason for me not to withdraw my money back.
is this not evil?

I'm also a victim, just last week they called me up after a visit to their site and charged $249£ to my card after I told them that I wasn't ready to apply, they told me it was just for registration I won't be charged unless I filled out the online form. All lies I was charged the minute I gave my card number. I've filed reports with the local authorities and scamwatch. Please if you have any encounters with this scam site please also report it to the authorities, save others from getting scammed of their hard earned money.

I am also one of the victims ... It happened to me 2 weeks ago ... 10 min later I found out that the lottery is already closed and that I'm not paying for the application but only for filling out my application (of course, this is for free) ... I almost immediatelly tried to contact them and cancel this crap but ... no respond till today ... Interestingly ... the same voice on the phone (very bad english) sad to me that she is one of the managers ... nice for her, two weeks ago she was only the representative ... she was very unpolite and tried to sell this to me back ... no refund ... even when they cannot finish my application without a picture ...
Am I really sooo stupid and lost my money? ... I filed a complaint with my bank ... does it help? should I contact a lawyer ... is there something I can do to get my money back ...

USAFIS Organization package not received within 3 months

On March 2010, I purchased a French CD Program for my son. I talked with one of the Natively Service workers to send it to me promptly. After they confirmed my payment on phone, they kept insisting on buying an additional product with it, but I refused because I just want to try out one product. When I said that, they agreed and after waiting even for months, they still hadn't exported it. I am still waiting and becoming impatient; I don't understand what's going on. Are they just unwary of the problem or are they trying to rip us off? Please send my package A.S.A.P or refund my money back. I hope we will come to a solution.

USAFIS Organization they make you pay... but do not provide the assistance or service

It clearly states on their website "The Usafis Organization provides an easy and convenient registration service for the annual Green Card Lottery program. We will ***ensure your application is registered in time and ***without errors. Each application is checked and you will be contacted if corrections or additional submissions are required in order for your application to be valid. Each year approximately 25% of all entries are disqualified, many for formal reasons".

I paid a lot of money for this service. My application for the green card was filled out incorrectly with the wrong birthdate which means I will be disqualified. They state that they will register my application without errors and they didnt.

I also paid extra money for a VIP membership. I was meant to recieve 9 language cd's which I havent. So what have I actually paid $US593.00 for?
They are meant to provide a service to assist me and they havent. I called to get a refund on my payment made but was denied any refunds. I was questioned why it took me so long to phone in regards to not recieving the discs...that is irrelevant. Everything I have paid for I have not recieved a single thing for...not even a correct entry into the lottery.

I was told I was not allowed a refund because my entry has already gone through. Even though I have been disqualified because they didnt fill it out properly. I will be taking this further so if anyone is in a similar situation please email me. This is a total sham and they need to be stopped.

Hi
I got a mail that I have been selected among the winners of the Diversity Visa Lottery and I should pay a processing fee $880 to a receipient in the UK through western union for the American Government to issue me the visa.
I want to know how true this is because when I checked at the US travelling official website, the actuall paayment for visa lottery is just $440, but I don't know how yours is double that and why I should send the money through western union to a ###ing guy in the UK when there is American embassy here in Nigeria.
If this is a form of scam, just stop mailing me and I believe nemesis will catch up with you soon

Hi,

You can read my previous comments in this thread. Our service is completely legitimate.
It is based on guaranteeing you participation in the lottery, not winning. No one can provide this to you, since this program is still a lottery and your winning depends on results that are published each year.
Guarantees that the application is submitted are provided each year with a confirmation number received from the US department of state.
We have various programs spreading on a variety of prices. I advice you to continue the dialogue with your agents and make the decision depending on your impression.

HI Peeeved

As I said before, our service is mostly for those who do not have a great command of the English language, the proper computer tools, or do not work well with timelines. For a small fee, USAFIS ensures a person's application qualifies for the program.

All too often, people who register for this wonderful opportunity do not make into the front door due to their application being disqualified. Whether the application was not filled out correctly, a person's photo did not meet the U.S. government standard, or it was submitted too late are just some of the reasons why hundreds of thousands of applications per year never get a chance to qualify for the U.S. Green Card Lottery program.

USAFIS does charge a nominal fee for it application review service and clearly states on its homepage the differences between their service and if a person wanted to do by themselves.

On our main page (and many others) there is a chart that shows you the difference between filling out the forms yourself at the Official U.S. Government Program and with us. we do not hide the fact the application is free- we only charge you for the assistance we provide in filling.

If you had any problems with our services please feel free to contact me directly with your personal details to my direct email danas@usafis-mail.com

NOTE: The Department of State strongly encourages applicants to complete the application without the assistance of “Visa Consultants, ” “Visa Agents, ” or other individuals who offer to submit an application on behalf of applicants. In many cases, these facilitators substitute their address for an applicant’s address and thereby receive the selection notification instead of it being received by the actual applicant. Subsequently, the visa facilitators extort money from the selectees in order to receive the notification information that should rightly have gone directly to the DV selectee.

Important Notice

No fee is charged for the electronic lottery entry in the annual DV program. The U.S. Government employs no outside consultants or private services to operate the DV program. Any intermediaries or others who offer assistance to prepare DV entries do so without the authority or consent of the U.S. Government. Use of any outside intermediary or assistance to prepare a DV entry is entirely at the entrant’s discretion.

Started sending me e-mail about how they thanked me for "signing up" for their services, which would provide, should I pay them $55, a chance to win a lottery and get a green card.

Seeing as I've been a U.S. citizen my entire 47 years on this Earth, I don't think I signed up for this outfit.

USAFIS Organization I was scammed $749.00

I am a victim of USAFIS.ORG. This happened on Saturday 26th Sept. I signed up for the green card lotto through this company then later found out that it was a free lotto. The next day I called telling them to cancel my application as I will enter the lottery myself. They told me that because my sister's card was used they have to talk with her to confirm that she is cancelling this which is stupid and fishy cause the application was for me and not her. AFter giving them her numbers they rep told me that she will call her immediately - I waited 10mins then call my sister who told me that she did not recieve any calls. I called back the company the was transferred with a supervisor who argued with me and cursed at me and hung up the phone on me as she refused to give me back any money and tried to sell me so lotto to australia. THIS IS AFTER I HAD ALREADY TOLD THEM THAT I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM.

After she hung up on me I called back a third time and was transferred to anothe supervisor who did the exact same thing. I called back again and let them know that I was recording these conversations with them which I will use to sue them and I will not back down cause even if I did not get any money back I will not rest till I expose them on the news. This time they transferred me to their general manager shannon. (Its also strange how everyone who works in this company sounds like they have a spanish accent - they dont speak english well). While I was talking to this supervisor I kept hearing snickering and laughing in the background. I am glad I got this on tape as well.

I would just like for someone to investigate this company and find a way to put them out of business or get them off the internet so that no one else gets scams. This is not fair to anyone.

Also I would just like to ask anyone one out there who is willing to tell there story to please contact me as I am currently getting in touch with news stations and journalist who are interested in this story. If they are willing to listen then I am willing to talk and I hope you are too.

Stand up for yourselves and for those who are not able to stand up for themselves. One more thing is that no specialist ever scan these applications or photos as the photo I entered was cropped as I was trying to center it but cropping a photo actually makes it fail the dvlotto.gov requirments as I found out today when I read all the instructions. I recieved 2 emails from usafis.org telling me that my photo and application had passed inspection and will be submitted tomorrow. Hence if they do submit this tomorrow even after they agreed to cancel my application after arguing strongly with them to do so - this means that my application will me one of the 3 million disqualified.

Anyone with further proof - letter or email form please save it as the FBI needs it for investigation.

Just something to think about. One more way to prove that these people are scams.
