"JACK" from US BUILDINGS SCAMMED ME of $9000

NOW ANTHONY RACK HAS DEMANDED THAT I PAY ANOTHER $8, 900 ASAP

A salesman from US Buildings (USB) contacted me late Fri 8-5-11 following an inquiry I placed on Buyerzone. He, Andrew "Jack" Marcus, told me he had pre-engineered clearance bldgs he could sell way below the value due to a dealer out of business. He said USB was shipping them out the next morning for auction, & it would cost USB $4000 per bldg. He claimed he was a VP, & had to get rid of these bldgs because of inventory tax charged. He told me he could cut a bldg in half (I put on Buyerzone that I wanted 2 garages - 25' x 40' ea). I told Jack that I had just started looking & was not ready to make a decision. He said that he had a 20' x 98' bldg that was going to auction, worth $70, 000, shipping costs 10%- $7, 000 plus tax, but could sell me the bldg way below value w/ no tax (since he could put it on "Arizona" paper), free shipping & free blueprints.

He insisted that all he needed was a name to put on the bldg & pressured me, stating I could cancel w/in 3 days & get my money back. He made numerous fraudulent claims to me during this time about USB, the bldg, how it would look, the costs & time to erect it, etc. I told him I was not sure this was what I wanted, but he assured me that he just needed my name to hold this bldg to save USB money & that I could cancel holding this within 3 days for any reason & not pay anything. He told me he needed to label my bldg immediately that evening so that it would not get sent to the auction early next morning & rushed me to sign the "papers" & give him my credit card to hold the bldg. This was done about 10:15 pm.

The next morning (7:45 am) I emailed him to let him know that the bldg he wanted me to buy, was not what I wanted. He told me that he was in Arizona (which conflicted with what he said last night) & on his way out to sell the rest of the clearance bldgs. After I stated concerns/changes about the bldg & complaints found that morning about USB on the internet, he told me he would call me Mon am after the office re-opened re: my concerns, stating I could still cancel if I wanted to, but tried to talk me into the sale, even sending me a list of Satisfied Customers.

I emailed him & faxed him a cancellation notice the next morning, Sunday 8-7-11 (2 days later). I called USB on Mon at 9:04 am & left a message w/ Shay (answering service) cancelling my "order". I received an email from Jessica w/USB re:my "order" & sent her an email (which she told me she forwarded to management) cancelling this. She told me that I needed to contact my salesperson, which I told her I did, but Jack had not returned my calls.

Someone else from USB, Derrick, contacted me & offered me the same bldg for $26, 000, w/free shipping & blueprints. Derrick called again 2x later that day (11:10 pm) & told me that the bldg he was selling me was going to be shipped for auction the next morning & I could get it for $16, 500 if I gave him my credit card then.

I stated to Jack that I was looking for 2 "attractive" garages w/ 3 garage doors in the length to be placed side by side, giving the appearance of longer bldg. Jack sold me something different verbally than what he put on the order. The hut on the order has 1 wall - is incomplete & not what he described. In this "order", the garage doors could not be put in the length, unless someone cut through the steel arches, which would compromise the structural integrity, but still leave me w/ an open hut. Jack also never mentioned that both structures need concrete, which one company gave me an estimate for the footers & pad estimated @ $25, 000 per hut. For a total of $17, 990 per order (total charged for 2 = $35, 980) this is what I received per pg:
23 ARCHES
1 REAR END WALL
1 REARED CURVED ANGLE
1 FRONT CURVED ANGLE
1 SKYLIGHT
NUTS, BOLTS, WASHERS

For the FREE BLUEPRINTS for this PRE-ENGINEERED "CLEARANCE" building - I am being charged a NON-REFUNDABLE BLUEPRINT DEPOSIT OF $4, 500 twice. Even though Jack verbally told me several times, that my money was refundable, it is NOT. Even though I cancelled this on Sunday in writing & again @ 9:04 on Monday, the real Vice President, Anthony Rack, is refusing to give back my money, as he claimed their Engineering Dept has gone to great expense w/my "custom" blueprints. There is nothing "custom", as this bldg is NOT AT ALL what I requested. They Fed-Ex a envelope to me on Tues, from their Engineering Dept, which was refused. I filed a complaint to the BBB & Anthony Rack called me a liar to my face & in writing and DEMANDED THAT I PAY USB ANOTHER $9000 BY 8-12-11.

The paper that was sent to me via email at 10:01 pm on 8-5-11for the sole purpose (as I was told) to hold this bdg from going to auction the next morning is not identified or labeled in any way. Jack rushed me to print this and sign it, all the time distracting me. Stating how late it was and how he had to hurry to go label the building immediately that night in the warehouse. I had problems w/ my fax, and told him so, faxing the 2 page identical "order" back twice starting at 10: 19 pm. Jack told me that his wife had called him during this time because he was supposed to be home, but "wanted to help me out". He sent me an email, not to share the price he gave me w/ anyone because he couldn't give it to anyone else. Jack overcharged/gouged me on the cost of this hut. I just got a price from someone else for $7, 344 per hut for 80 grade steel, which is much better than the 55 grade steel which US Buildings has on my "order". Did he BAIT & SWITCH me?

In the very small fine print of this "order", which was never disclosed, discussed or brought to my attention, it states, "order is subject to the terms and conditions on the face and REVERSE OF SIDE HEREOF". I NEVER received a copy of the back of the order & nothing was ever reviewed. On the website, they use 9 company logos, inc Military, which is being investigated. Their list of Satisfied Customers is incorrect. They have 170 complaints on one BBB site & more on others.
