The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Submitted my phone details for unlocking. They failed to do so and said their Finance dept would issue a refund within 10 days. This has not yet happened and over 7 months have passed.

There is no means of contacting them either by email or telephone.

A completely fraudulent scam and should be shut down.

After being scammed and led around by the nose for 3 days like a complete fool, I elected to NOT wait for the "5 days" to get a refund. So I went to PayPal's Resolution Center to file a dispute. Upon entering the transaction ID, you are presented with a page from the unlocking scammer that begs you NOT to open a dispute, and gives the link to the refund page. Clearly there intent to avoid the wrath of PayPal...and while that refund URL does work as promised (it had better!), it makes the situation even slimier because PayPal allows this sort of thing.

Just wondering what they will do with my IMEI and email address. @#$holes...

I was scammed twice. I realize it was a scam because the second time I received the exact message as the first. These people are ripping off people big time. Though it may seem to be a small amount, the number of people subscribe to unlock their phones are huge. Wish I could do something to get rid of these thieves.

This company is taking about £1, 000 plus aday!- for nothing. I checked out the website after not receiving my code. Heres what i found out... it gets interesting towards the end ;-)

1. No telephone number listed.
2. Website registration details with held from nominet.
3. Website serviced by 123-reg (cheap domains)
4. NO replys to my emails from the company
5. The website itself is NOT SECURE - i managed to get customers details in seconds
6. The paypal contact email address is from a domain that shows a blank page - probably the last site they ran it on.

So i took a look at the website and how the operation works... its very basic!

1.Basicaly you pay £2.99 + VAT (£3.49) for your code thats suppose to arrive in 24 hours
2.Smack on 24 hours you get an automitic email asking for more details (its to stall you)
3.On the 3rd day you get a sorry unobtainable message - refund on its way.

This scam works because not many will bother chasing £3.49

They actually actually say they will refund immediately but then they say allow 7 days (by day 3) - In fact you have to make a dispute with paypal if you want to see your money again.

Having easy access to all the customers orders i checked loads to see if ANY had received their codes - I FOUND NONE.
Im not going to show you how i did this so as to protect your details but fair to say IT WAS SIMPLE.

On this day alone there were hundreds of orders! - at £3.49 each - nice earner id say!
This has been running for ages - there are tens of thousands of orders in the database!
It wouldnt supprise me if they have netted £250, 000 doing this.

Heres a order i picked at random - ive removed personal details to protect the customer ...
remeber i checked over 200 and not 1 was given a code.

Hi,

Sorry I have been unable to generate the correct unlock code for your mobile. There are so many mobile out there sometimes the firmware on certain versions mean I can't generate the code.

I have sent your details over the accounts team who will send you a refund. Although normally quicker please allow up to 7 days for the refund to get back into your account.

Once again I apologise for not being able to get the correct code for your mobile. Your only option may be your network operator or a local shop who can unlock via a cable.

Thanks
