I would never ever recommend anyone working or participating with Uniway. the manager is a disgusting person. I worked there as the front office receptionist towards the end of 2006. On several occasions my boss made sexual comments to me and asked me sexually explicit questions. The final straw was a few days after I had gotten a tattoo and he wanted to see it. It was on my lower back and I told him that it was not appropriate. He called me in his office and as I was walking out (I had a pair of khakis and a button down shirt, he lifted up my shirt and pulled down the rim of my pants to see the tatoo and said he liked it. Mortified and scared I asked for a break and went outside and called a friend of mine balling my eyes out and asked what I should do. He said I should leave. The next day I spoke with the Office Manager about the situation and she said she would handle it. Another female who worked there in collections asked me what had happened and I told her. After Lisa (office manager) spoke with Michael he walked by and apologized.

The next day he fired me because I had spoken to the collections girl about the situation. He had both girls in the office. He also said I was having an inappropriate relationship with a married man (another coworker). Totally untrue. No one should have to go through this. I went to a lawyer and he said he would take my case. I really had to find a job to pay my bills so I never followed-up with it. I really wish I had to protect others.
