This company has been operating for over 20 years. It is one of the leading taxi companies in the Chicago suburbs among a couple more. There is no scam or fraud here. You lease your taxi, drive customers and get paid, that simple. I've read many bad reviews about this company from taxi drivers not wanting to be liable for tickets, but it would not make sense if the company is held responsible for the moving violations of the drivers.
I've been a driver for Universal Taxi for a while now. I drive safe, I don't get tickets, I could say I am happy to work for Universal Taxi.

[censored] THEM ALL! Except for Andrew, the mechanics and Daniel. Nick? You are laughable. You think you are a tough guy, but you are just an [censored]. Isaak? I don't know what to say, but get out. I believe you are a better person than they have molded you in to.
Gordon is a piece of work, I got to give him credit he ain't in jail and he is still breathing. He is slick how he traps people into this $75 or $100 training they give u on your first visit and they are kind enough to pick up a handful of new victims or 'marks' I'd call them. And on your first visit or lesson if you choose to not want the job your then told u find your way back home, some are broke that's why they are there to work. A few see it's bunch of [censored], yes they put you in a cab and you start out in the hole, you owe for the so called training and $95 for cab most don't make it a week and the cars are junk may have two or three good cars out of 20 plus. Dodges tolls by changing plates on cars every year Yeah Gordon your the man!
How did the 7 day quit notice thing work for you ?
Just park your car at the office and Uber home. They did nothing to me. Smart choice on their part.
