These people are the biggest ripoffs ever. They charged .73 cents per day of interest for balance.
They do not give you a statement of your account, unless
you request one. When the balance is down to $500.00
they charge you .21 cents per day and when you try or
do pay the balance with a credit card, they charge you
$11.60 for the priviledge to do so. They do not take a
debit card. Had plastic surgery and this is how I was financed. I wonder if the Doctor got a cut too. Do not get
involved with Drs. Say Yes for a cosmetic procedure.

Yep. I hope you know that what they are trying to charge you is a 'walk in the park' compaired with what they are trying to charge me and when I asked them to give me more info as to the nature of the charges, they wouldn't tell me until I gave them my address. Sounds scammy to me...

Agreed. You need to take action with the Attorney General of the appropriate state. For instance, Kansas Attorney General office Consumer protection. In my case, I am requesting an investigation for KS Statute 50-627 Unconscionable acts and practices (2) when the consumer transaction was entered into, the price grossly exceeded the price at which similar property or services were readily obtainable...by similar consumers and (5) the transaction the supplier (Kansas Singles) induced the consumer to enter into was excessively one-sided in favor of the supplier.

I was enrolled in auto pay with my debit card as the funding source. I never get a statement from UAS, so I don't really think about it. My debit card was stolen and subsequently disabled, which led to several issues that I was dealing with. When UAS tried to charge the scheduled payment it was declined because the card was disabled. They called me and I explained the situation to them. They offered to take a payment over the phone. After I gave them a new card number and they were about to charge it they informed me that they would charge me to make a payment over the phone. I told them that I would just make the payment online. They said it could take up to 72 hours to process an online payment and if it took that long I would be charged a $30 late fee. They said it would be cheaper to pay them over the phone. When I asked them to waive the fee for paying over the phone, they said there was nothing they could do. Again, I explained my situation (stolen credit card) and asked to speak to a manager. After fighting with the "customer service representative" for about 5 minutes as to why I would like to speak to a manager I was put on hold. After waiting for about 25 minutes for the manager to be available the original agent got back on the phone and said the manager couldn't talk to me because his shift was over and he was heading out the door. She said he had told her there was no way to waive the fee. When I questioned her about why he left instead of talking to me she said that he has a life outside of work and that he had to go to school so he couldn't stay.

Apparently I am supposed to be sympathetic to his situation even though they basically said "sucks to be you" when I told them my card was stolen. Long story short: I ended up paying them a fee to take my payment over the phone instead of paying a higher fee to make my payment online. This company is a joke and I hope they wind up in a class action law suit, not because I need my $11 back, but because they are most likely making millions off of their customers in unavoidable fees. I only wish I knew how to report them to an agency that would hold them accountable.

I refuse to pay another dime to UAS or Kansas Singles the original contract I have. I have filed for an investigation of Kansas Singles with Consumer Protection, Attorney General of Kansas. They are part of a predatory practice and affiliated with predatory businesses. One commentor on this page mentioned, Great Expectations. Kansas Attorney general took action against that company.

Yep. I hope you know that you are 'on a cakewalk' with this company. They are trying to charge me $1730.01 and when I wanted info on this issue, they would not tell me anything over the phone until I gave them my address.

My wife was recently disabled and is unable to pay the monthly bills. The website states that you have to be eligible for a deferment which she totally is and when she calls they state the deferment is not available to anyone that it is false advertisement. I am going to contact who ever I need to contact to get this place taken out of business or penalized. the customer service is very un-professional.

I have requested MULTIPLE statements from UAS... I bought my puppy in June and almost 3 months later I have not received a single one of those statements. Their e-pay website seems very sketchy to me and I refuse to pay over the phone. The whole thing just seems a bit shady. Their "Customer Service" people have always been very rude to me as well.

I recently opened a credit line with this provider for a dog I purchased from Petland. I didn't get my bill the first month and then the second month I receive the bill telling me I'm late with my first payment. I called the provider to discuss the simple issue of not receiving my bill and I was planning on making my payment while I was on the phone. The first employee to answer the phone was very rude! I explained to him that for some reason I didn't receive the first bill. The guy just kept replying with Mmmmm Hmmmm and Yeah and just not trying to understand what I was telling him. He just kept saying are you going to make your payment today? Disregarding the issue. I ask to speak to a supervisor. He then argued with me about my reason on why I needed to speak to them. He puts me on hold for a few minutes then a man named Bryan answers the phone. I tell him my issue of just not getting my bill the first month and all he says to me is would you like to make your payment today? I just decided to hang up and call back in hopes that I would get someone else. As soon as I call back he answers my call instantly. I just hung up because I was not going to argue with him. A few moments later I began receiving a phone call from him which I didn't answer. I waited a few days and called back. Talked to a girl who had an attitude as well. Told her I wanted to make a payment and she went ahead and started processing the information and then informs me that there is an 11.00 processing fee to make a payment. Never have I heard of a processing fee of that much. I just asked her if there was another way to make a payment without the fee so she told me I could pay online. I've never dealt with such ignorance and rudeness. I can't wait to get rid of this account and never will I agree to go back to them!

I signed up with Events and Adventures this past February. Soon after I signed up I was sent an email that UAS had been contracted to be the service to make payments to. I contacted them to have it set up to have automatic payment from my account and the one and only time they have done so was in April. I was going to call today and when I got home had a bill waiting from them stating I was past due and owed over $500 immediately. I have not tried to call yet but am afraid to after seeing all of the comments here today. Wish me luck.

Reading my statement, it looks like there is payment online options: http://www.universal-epay.com If that helps anyone... Anyone know if they use a collection service if you don't pay? I am now thorugh their company for payment services even though what I purchased was returned... or they said I couldn't return it. This was a school / classes of sorts that I've not attended. SO MAD!

I just received a bill from Universal for dues from Packaged Vacations which is a fraudulent company and is no longer in business as an LLC. I spent a lot of money to join, never got anything for my efforts, so I decided to chalk it up to bad luck and did not pay dues for the last year. I never received any correspondence from Packaged Vacations so I considered it over. Now these people are telling me I owe money to a company that no longer exits! What is the deal?

Ok so I guess it's not just me. I was financed through this company for a dating service called Dallas Singles. Both companies are scams. Universal sends me a past due statement every month. I finally found out when my actual due date is, the 10th of every month. Every single statement I have received has a statement date of after the 10th. I have never received a single on time statement, and they charge me a $19 late fee each time! I am i the middle of trying to get this resolved right now but from what you all are posting I guess I probably won't have any luck. I don't understand how these companies stay in business. What a shame. I am going to discuss a lawsuit with my attorney and if he thinks we have a case I will post on here again for anyone who wants to get involved.

Universal Account Servicing was the third party billing system for The Right One, a matchmaking service. That service went out of business in September. Since that time, I have been told several times that Great Expectations was responsible for taking over my account. However, upon further investigation I discovered that this is not the case. As a result Universal has charged me and my partner for a service that is no longer being provided. This is called fraud! In a gesture of good will, I have been attempting to contact one of the managers to have our money refunded and the accounts closed so that it will not adversely effect our credit. Despite numerous voice mails, my complaint has still not been addressed. As a result I have no other choice but to file a complaint the FTC, the Better Business Bureau, and any other group that will help investigate these actions. In addition, I will begin steps to file a class action lawsuit if my issue is not addressed.

This place is not worth wasting my time, unfortunately I have to try and deal with them since they cannot get a check payment right. I made a payment by check as I have been since August of 2011. I sent the check in on 1/23/2012 and it supposedly did not go through since they said I had insufficient funds in my checking account which was BS. I called and found out about this on 2/9/2012. I did what the person asked me to do by going out of my way to se nd them the proof that I had money in my account, I talked to my back and they said my check was never attempted to be cashed. So know it is 2/29/2012 and I must have called them about 25 times to try and get this BS straightened out. The guy who was supposed to call me today never did, I called bot the consumer help desk and customer service. Both had no one available to talk to, only an option to leave a message. So now here I am with one payment supposedly past due and the next one due tomorrow along with a $15 unsufficient funds fee. My advice is, " Never buy anything unless you know who is going to finance the account. And if is these $%^&'s, good luck. Peaces of S$%t

I made the terrible mistake a couple years ago by responding to an email involving a job opportunity as a rebate processor. Somehow it turned from rebate processing into selling products online and had nothing to do with rebate processing. And after getting the hard sell tactics and originally paying a few hundred dollars from the start, I was forwarded to this Universal Accounting outfit. Very stupid on my part and now I have to deal with these clowns. I've been paying these clowns for over a year now, have received nothing in return, and have stopped paying. I received nothing for my money and never did get this so called business going. It was a scam from the start. Unfortuneatley I can see that I am probably going to have to pay these jerks off and get absolutely nothing in return. I've already put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (can you believe they gave this shady outfit a AAA rating which I did mention to the BBB that I was appalled that they gave this outfit a rating like that). In summary, I wish you all luck dealing with this outfit but remember that you are dealing with a dishonest outfit that does business with scammers.

Yes, you are absolutely correct with your comments. I consider all of them pretty thought provoking. I am wondering what can be done to stop them with such audacity and ripoff people's money.
Yes, they do not provide monthly statement and more. I am about to contact consumer protection on them.
I am give them enough time so that they can treat me with more respect, humility and consideration.

Also, in my state the moment I get in touch with the right government entity they won't less long doing what they are doing with people.

I totally agree with vzugaj. I also signed up with the Right One which was a major rip off and joke and it was financed through this place. My interest was over a dollar a day and I financed 2000. Stay away from this place.

You know what actually I agree. I truly didn't realize how much I spent in interest until I went to pay it off and looked at all of my payments compared to the amount I financed. I signed up with the Right One dating service which in of itself was a rip-off and then my interest was at least a dollar a day. I only financed 1200.
