Unethical, no customer service!

As many others have found, once you subscribe to this site you cannot get off!!! I tried to re-close my account or at least disable the annual renewal (I closed the account a year ago)and was unable to access my own account on the web site. There was an endless loop where they told me my email address was invalid and that they had sent me an email with directions. No email. No directions. Try again... endlessly. I called the customer service line. I was on hold for an average of 45 minutes each time I called. I never spoke to anyone. After a long period of time listening to muzak and repeated recorded messages about how important my call was, the phone began to ring. After 143 rings (the last time) I hung up. There seems to be no way to end this mess. I literally have had no contact from them for a year. Suddenly, I get a debit from my account that I have not authorized. There is a way to disable the automatic renewal, but in order to do that you must be able to access your account. Here comes the loop again. I am frustrated, angry and a bit disgusted. How do these people sleep at night?
