I just received my Qwest phone bill and there was a charge from USBI. Myself, nor my husband did not authorize it. When I called --the lady gave me the run around and said I would have to file a complaint. I am filing a complaint with Qwest and cancelling my service.

Hey there, this is Brian with Qwest. I understand that you are upset with us for this USBI charge. As a regulated company, we are required to bill a customer for another carrier's charges, if that carrier requests Qwest to do so. In this case, this USBI charge is not billed by Qwest, nor did Qwest request/allow this charge to be billed to your account. It's a regulation.

As you may have been advised already, you will need to dispute this charge directly with the USBI company. If you further trouble, or cannot get resolution with USBI directly, you are welcome to send me an e-mail to TalkToUs@Qwest.com, and I will help to have the charges sent back to USBI.
