I also purchased a cd for 2.29 after 7 days 39.95 was taken from my checking account. I called the company at 800-487-7085. I told the service rep that I did not authorize this. She informed me that I did when I accepted the "free" cd. I asked to speak with her supervisor. I informed the supervisor that I assumed I had 7 days from when I received the cd to make my decision. she told me I was sent an e-mail to my junk mail box with a user name and password. To make a long story short I told her I did not understand the terms and conditions. They sounded like I got 7 days from receipt of the cd to cancel my subscription. I was very upset and told her I would not take no for an answer, she better refund my money. After about 15 minutes of arguing with her and never backing down she refunded my money!!! Don't back down thats what they want. FYI she said the reason she would refund is because I read and did not understand the terms... those may be the magic words to getting your money back. Good luck these people are scam artist and cannot be trusted.
