Unauthorised charges
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 10 votes
Company information:
S.E. SPEEDMASTER ENTERPRISES LIMITED
Cyprus
clearliftultra.com

My wife responded to an advert on Facebook for a trial offer of this product, pay shipping only. That was in July. The product has never arrived and having just returned from holiday we find our account has had unauthorised debits from asociated companies. This company is not contactable by phone, email of via the live chat link. From other peoples experiences, this would appear to be a SCAM. Do not use this site. http://www.clearliftultra.com/contactus.php# If only we could!

I too have had this same experiance, I thought I had it stopped but checked my account and they have taken another amount . How do we stop them, I cannot find any email address.
I have had 4 unauthorised charges from the associated companies, was sucessful in getting one charge reversed, but now it has started all over again. Surely there is some way to stop this. I am in Australia which makes it even more difficult.
Has anyone got an answer...

I have myself been a victim of this scam. I have been trying to contact this company all to no avail. Each time they bill me it is a larger amount each time. I did receive a trial bottle, which made no difference to my skin. Maybe the Government or consumer watch should be investigating this scam Now.
I have to cancel my credit card otherwise this shoddy company seems to be able to keep deducting money each month without my permission.
Maybe we as consumers should have the right to contact the bank and put a stop to further charges being ripped off out of our accounts.
This has made me feel any thing online is not worth purchasing. because once you give you credit card number they can abuse this.
Not happy Jan!!

I also saw the 'free trial' offer, I received the product and then had a phone callto say if I responded in 10 minutes I would receive a cheaper version, I did not respond I dont want any morwe of this product and am now aiting to see if my bank account has been plundered. Its really worrying, I shall contact my bank and ensure they do not pay out.

To the anonymous poster who copies and pastes the stock answer to all complaints here; would you please make it clear that all the helpline will do is to give you a cancellation number for the one single product you ordered (if like mine, it wasn't received) and then give out numbers of each of the many other so called 'affiliates' who take unathorized sums from the 'victim's' account. The 'victim' is then expected to telephone each and every one of them in order to make individual cancellations. The number that I was given to cancel the first, I suspect, of many such unathorized debits was unobtainable. The helpline should realize that international callers need toll free numbers that are usable from their particular country. As all these companies are obviously held under a single umbrella the first company of contact should be the one to advise all the others to whom they have given out personal information, that no contracts exist and, therefore, no further unauthorized debits should be attempted.

You also copy and paste the same ridiculous line in some of your responses (and all the other spam username's posts) that the "unused" Trial item should be returned for a full refund - how precisely is this a fair "Free Trial?" In order to return the product in the given period, there can be no trial whatsoever. The advert to which I responded said delivery would be 5 to 7 days, so if I grabbed it from the postman, ran straight to the post office and returned it, I would still be 'out of time.' Get real Mr. Dai iong and all your other usernames. What excuse could you possibly have for providing nothing at all and taking payments from peoples' accounts without authorization? What excuse could you possibly have for not advising by email/letter what exactly it is that you are charging for? It would have been nice to know what I haven't received.

Thanks.

Hello,

Sorry there seems to have been some confusion about your order. We do our best to satisfy all of our customers, but sometimes mistakes can happen. Customer service and satisfaction are very important to us. That's why we included our Terms of Service on the order page right next to where you provided us with your credit card information. There is also a direct link to our Terms of Service on our home page. We do want you to be happy with your experience with us - even if you didn't read the terms or found them confusing.

If that was the case, you can return the unused portion of your order and we will not bother you again. If you are still in our 30-day guarantee period, we will also be happy to refund your money. We take our money-back guarantee very seriously.

Our customer support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can call us at 8/8/8-(6/7/6)-(4/1/2/2). If you have any problems getting through, you can also use our Live Chat online customer service support. The Live Chat link is easy to find on our Contact Us page and can walk you through the entire process step by step.

We want to do everything we can to resolve your concerns as quickly as possible and hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you,

(Justin Jones)

Has anyone come up with an answer? Do we all need to cancel our credit cards? I have also been a victim of this scam, no point just returning it to sender as the money will still be coming out of my account. I have about 10 bottles of this stuff now.
