United Bank Of India [UBI] I did not receive my $5,000.oo check.

I received a letter from UBI Payment Services, stating that I will receive $5, 000.00 if I return the release form and complete the contest requirments. This was back in late February and we're in the middle of April, and I still have not received my money! So, I did a search on the net to find the company to ask them what happened to my $5, 000.00! To my surprise I found that people have been scamed by this so called company! It was a real heart breaker because I've been suffering financially because of the recession the U.S.A. is experiencing, and the money would have come in handy. I personally would like to find accountant Joe Ryan if that really is his name? And sue him for fraud.

Hi! I just receive the same letter by 2/19/10.
If U did not pay for a lottery so how U can win some real money and have a HOPE to real get them?!
I'm very doubt that U will find a person named "accountant Joe Ryan" especially if they "company" in Australia...
But it IS very good to have opportunity to check it out at some Forum anyway. So, my VERY thank to the site Administrator and to all of you, people.
Best regards, Fedor

P.S. People! If U need money simply try to cut your expenses were possible. Consider you financing and expenses more than once a year. My first 4 years in the USA were terrible. My family of 3 was lived for $16-20.000 per year with rent $9.500 and car insurance $3.000 and this is expensive NY. But I newer had deep credit card debt, used them but paid in time (if not than I paid $15-25 finance charge and that driven me crease…). Now the situation is different- I got city job but I have experience to spend much less money than 80% of all of you. Now a credit card pays ME for using THEY money (about $300-400 per year). I personally know some people whom had a millions of $$ but now they R in miserable positions.., some of them even borrowed money from me.

This company contacts you and says you are the winner of 5, 000.00 dollars and asks you to return the form back to Australia and you will win the money, it didnt ask for money but i spent 89 cents on the stamp to mail it. I thought it was legit because it didnt ask for money but i always check on the internet to see if anyone else has got the same deal and sure as hell someone else has gotten the same note claiming that they are the winner of 5, 000.00 dollars too. It just a waist of time and it pisses me off that they are sending me ### like this i wish they would choke on a dick and die so now i just look into ### closely before i

United Bank Of India [UBI] $5000 check

I received a letter in the mail stating that I'm guaranteed to receive
a check for $5000 if I SIGN and return the bottom portion of the
letter with an answer to a 1st grade question ( 20 + 5= 25 21 23?).
Immediately, seeing that I have not entered such a contest nor given
them access to my HOME address...I knew it was a scam to get my
signature. This is absolutely HORRIBLE and against the law to try to
get people's signatures so it can be duplicated to steal/rob. My wish is that your company will track down the responsible party or parties
and PROSECUTE them! I'm deeply concerned because in these hard times, families are in need of money and many will fall prey to these
evil entities because of the lack of knowledge that is is a scam/trick!

Recieved a check for $5000 stating that I won it in a contest. When I took it to the bank and cashed it, I was charged for a bad check. The authorities said it was a forgery now I have to pay this plus a fine back. What can I do?

My father in-law had a note about a $5, 000 payment mailed Dec. 20, 2008, written on a notepad at his house. He died Jan 2, 2009. We were concerned that he had mailed a check for $5, 000 to this company. After checking online, we're hoping that he was just waiting on his check. There is no other information as to what kind of information he provided them and no envelope or paperwork from this company was found. Don't know what to expect from here.

I recieved one of their letters today for the $5, 000.00 but have also recieved notices from National Promotion Center for $5.00, 000.00 and $1, 4oo, ooo.oo but saying I need to send them $13.00, $19.00 and $11.95 for Procurment fee I was even told I would get my choice of 3 magazine's and 2 gold watches with dimonds and that the watches would be delivered by UPS and the lady that called me her name was Jeanette she called me about 3 weeks later not recalling I she had spoke to me but I recalled her and said so, then his man came on the phone giving me a phone number to see why I did not get the watches. I did not call because I did not enter any contest. My parent's got ripped off in a scam from Jamaca for $1, ooo.oo over a period of a few weeks before I found out about it. These people called my parents at all hours of the day and night and all day/night long to where my parents could not even answer their phone until the screened the call. The day I found out about it they called 5 time in the 2 hours I was at my parents home. I ended up telling them I was now in control of my parents money and they would not be getting any more it, that did not stop them they contiune to call, I even called the FBI to report but they where not of any help. So as I heard on the Oprah Show if you really won it, you don't have to pay for it before you get it. When I got this letter today I decided to check it out on the web and there you all where

I just received this letter on Thursday May 13th. I knew right away this had to be a fraud. First of all the return address is from Hong Kong and the return address is a PO Box in Australia. After checking this site I know for sure this is a scam. All they want is to steal your identity. If you read the back of the letter they want you to send them either a Passport or a Photo ID. I really wish these people would be caught and prosecuted.

I got one in Peoria Illinois. At first i thought sweet then i was like...this seems fishy so i started to look a little closer at it and the letter came form Singapore then you mail it back to Australia ...2 different countries big red flag. Then i looked closer at the guys signature its pixalated so its probably a fake computer generated signature. Then I looked at the micro print rules on the back and they say that they need a copies of your Id or Passport to prove age and identity. When its all said and done they have your signature, age, sex, address, passport number/id number, and a photo of you. This is a Phishing scam to get your info so they can buy all sorts of stuff in other countries. They might even send you a bogus check then you have to give a portion back to them... or they get your bank account info from the bogus check and clean you out. I stuffed a bunch of expired coupons in the little envelope they sent with the letter and Im going to mail that ### to them. Jerks. lol

I received the same letter in Wetumka, Oklahoma. I done the research online and them trashed the letter. These are scams, if it is to good to be true, then more than likely it is... So please dont send in anything with any signature without doing the research on it first... Hope this helps the next person.

It has come to my attention that i should inform any and all individuals that has received a letter from UBI Payment Services, informing any and everyone that you have won some monies in a contest drawing. This is not a Legit contest, nor is this a legit company, or program which they have tried to market themselves as; You will be taken for a long ride. They will aquire all or partial of your assets. And you, will look like a fool... Do not apply or respond to any e-mails, or correspondences from these people. If there is any Government agenceies out there reading this. Please feel free to contact me in an effort to 'STOP' these people from continuing to damage to hard wokring people, of this country. I'm willing to put forth the effort. This letter had scam written all over it. Apparently if I can figure out the contest question (20+5) They will send me a $5, 000.00 check. The return address on my letter was SIM 60086 P.O. Box 91-576 Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. and the enclosed envelope was addressed to P.O. Box 4805 Robina
Town Australia. I researched and found several other recieved this letter as a scam.

Think about it. If you really did win that money they would have sent you a check in the first place.

Remember the old adage: "If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is."

Scams have been going on for years, So I do not understand how people can be so guible to believe they actually won money and use the excuse of the economy for there mistake, the bad economy trip is way played out and yes I do agree that these people who play these scams are jerks, but, blow it off your shoulders and let them waste there time and money for there ignorance. If you do not realize, the majority of these scams are from Nigeria and they use fake addresses, thinking that they will not get caught, they are the most ingnorant people that I know of and they think that us americans and canadians are idiots. I received one of these letters too and threw it away, just like the contest that are sent on a post card to your house and all that they want to do, is for your to order some stupid magazines and you never win a contest.

United Bank Of India [UBI] sending letter requesting signature

UBI Payment Service has sent me letters stating that I have won a large amount of money. They ask for my signature to be able to claim my winnings. I was stupid enough to do it the first time and have not recieived a response yet. Unitil recently, I recieived a second letter asking for the same information. Which makes me wonder what they are doing with my signature. Especially since this letter will be going overseas.

I received the same letter yesterday as Vanessa. Do a few searches about "UBI PAYMENT SERVICES" on google or yahoo, everything I find is either questioning their agenda or outright declaring them a SCAM! I don't know how they can hurt you/me with just a signature, but my gut instinct and or common sense tells me to throw it in the trash after shredding it!

I could use the money also, however if it looks like BS and it smells like BS, I reckon it's BS!

I have received a letter from UBI Payment Services and it was stated that i am guaranteed to receive $5, 000.00 if i return the release form as instructed and fulfill the contest requirements. I have never enter to win anything from UBI. I believe this is a scam. I have received an online letter from someone in United Kingdom and it stated that i have won $750million plus the new BMW 5 series coupe car. They also wanted my full name, address, telephone number, d.o.b. and some more personal information.I have never seen the money or vehicle. This is very scary and makes me think someone is after me. What will they need with all my information? This is all a big scam. Too everyone out there please don't believe in any of these scams. All they want is your personal information and their is no telling what they will do with your information. Be Careful AMERICANS!
