I ordered Kevin Trudeau's books from a tv offer. He claimed the books were free except for shipping and handling, shipping and handling totaled $20.00. I believe books are shipped at a special rate that is nowhere near what I paid. I then recieved a phone call from his staff trying to get personal information from me that I refused to give. The man on the phone was very insistent and I asked when the 30 day trial started, was it when I placed the order or was it when I received the order. He told me that it started when I received the books. Well, when I finally received the books which was well after the 30 days since the order, it says very clearly on the paper work that comes with the books that the 30 day trial begins when you place the order. I have called to cancel and I only got to speak to an operator who said she would pass on the information and someone would get back to me. Up to this point no one has called me back. I have recieved my credit card bill and I am being charged for membership. I don't want this membership. I have tried calling again and again to no avail, they just put you on hold forever. This is by far the biggest scam I have ever seen. I can't believe that the TV station is still giving him airtime, the TV station is obviously also in on this scam.
