This seems to be a typical free trial scam business that sold me a product as a free trial for which I only authorized to pay a shipping cost of $4.95, or what it seemed to me at the time of purchase. However, the full conditions of the offer, that were outlined in the Terms and Conditions link that was hidden at the very bottom of the page in a small print, were such that I as a customer got automatically enrolled into a subscription program once I pushed the payment button. Such subscription came with a trial period that I had to cancel within 14 days, or I would get charged a full price of the product which I was going to receive and pay for every month until I cancel the subscription. The cost is, of course, ridiculously overpriced. I got an email order confirmation immediately via an email that stated a price of $4.95 and nothing else. There was, however, an additional small charge of $1.63 on my credit card for which I never was provided any receipt. It took about the same time to receive the product as the trial period itself, 12 days shipment out of 14 days trial that began when the order was placed, on Nov 16, 2015. I only got alerted when I noticed the additional $1.63 charge on my credit card at which point I contacted the company. That conversation via email happened on the last day of the "trial", Nov 29 . The next day I was charged the full amount of the product, $99.95, which the company agreed to refund in full given I ship the product back at my expense and taken in consideration that I was lucky enough to question the company just a few hours before the trial expired, which was considered as the cancellation of the subscription. The Terms and Conditions of the deal have NOT been clearly indicated on the order web page, nor clearly communicated to me by any other means; nor was I engaged in any affirmative conduct acknowledging the Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions link was not placed near the final Submit button, neither immediately above nor below of the button, nor in any clear view on the web page. As such, I consider the whole ordeal as the intentional deception and scam. The products are advertised via many many different web sites such as http://www.supplementq.com/. The company's website itself does not offer any products. It just states the company contact info and the Terms and conditions: http://trubelleza.com/ The transaction info on the back statement comes as a UK company: Country Code: GB - United Kingdom Merchant : OUTBOUND TELEMARKETING MERCHANTS Merchant Information: 18885891342CLEANSKIN LONDON 000 WC2N4JF Transaction Date: 11/16/2015

They immediately start charging your credit card! send me 2 shipments right away and charged me over $300. Absolutely a rip off considering you cant even use that much product in a month! not worth the free trial!

TOTAL SCAM! My credit card was billed over $200 before I had even received my trial product. I was FURIOUS! Do not get caught. Stay away. Customer service was awful When I called to complain they said I had agreed to a subscription. Didn't realize I had to click multiple avenues to find the complete agreed. Won't happen again.

This is definitely a free trial scam. The only authorized charge was to pay $3.95 shipping & handling. No where on the page before you hit the submit button is there terms and conditions that you must cancel within 14 days. I called m/c as soon as I discovered the charge on my account for product I never received. They reversed the charge and cancelled my credit card and issued a new one. About 45 days later the charge was back on my new account. I called again about charge back and they said they were sending me a letter that once received had to send back explaining why I was disputing the charge. The charges were reversed again but a month later one charge showed up, and a month after that two more charges. When I called inquiring about the charges they were to credit the account for one of the charges, but instead they charged it again. I talked to a manager and he conference called Blue Diamond Skin Care customer service and they said that because it wasn't cancelled within 45 days they would not issue a refund and when I said it was, they changed their answer and said it had to be cancelled in 30 days. Asked to talk to the Blue Diamond Skin Care manager and he said they were on a conference call. Told him to give me another manager and he said there was none. When asked how long it would be he said he didn't know. Asked to talk to the Escalation Department or Legal Department and he said they had no escalation department and that the Legal department didn't take calls. Was told by m/c that because Blue Diamond Skin Care provided an IP address and mailing address to them that they lost their right to charge back Blue Diamond and credit my account. Expensive lesson learned but am going to report it to the BBB Internationally.

I too was scammed and had a very hard time getting the company to cancel my supposed subscription. If the product had been amazing I wouldn't have been as angry, but the Instalift rapid wrinkle control was so clumpy it couldn'the be applied it just balled up as if it was cornstarch and rolled off my face! I ended up paying over $100 CAD. For one Tbsp. Of cornstarch and water.

I am mortified to say, that I also got caught to the tune of $999.56 in Canadian Funds. Exactly as it is explained here. The company names they used to charge my credit card were: SkinLab [protected] and SkinLook [protected] and DewSkinCareToday [protected]. I have called my Master Card and cancelled the card. I called THEM at their toll free number [protected] and I told them to cancel any and all subscriptions associated with my email account. I requested an email with cancellation id numbers and reference numbers, and they sent me 2 numbers, when there are 3 companies associated with the billing! So you know, they are not done with me yet! I sent them an email pointing out their error. I called the Canadian Government Anti-fraud number and made a report. The name on the bottles shipped to me came from Toronto, and their address is : Distributed by: Tru Belleza www.trubelleza.com 64 Bakersfield St. Toronto, Ontario M3J 2W7 Canada. [protected] Now tomorrow I'm going to call the Toronto Police about this as well. I'm guilty of not checking my credit card statement, as I was away! I read everything. Apparently the disclaimer is buried in an area that people overlook. I have a feeling getting a new credit card number isn't gong to help. I'm going to have to out and out cancel the card. I filed a fraud complaint with my Master Card. This is a world wide scam.

I put in my order for sample and then before I went through with the order I closed it out and decided to investigate first. I hadn't even started to read this site and my phone rang, it was a representative of the company. I didn't let her get far, told her I was reading about the company and I wasn't prepared to give them my credit card. I had concerns about overcharges once they had, she got very quiet. Companies that phone you like that don't make me feel comfortable about their credibility. I believe they're scamming people and I'm glad I did my homework before I gave up my credit card.
Thank you for this website, people need to know and this feed gives them just what they need.

I had a similar occurrence I ordered a $5.95 sample - never received it. Three months in a row my charge card has been charged $147 plus exchange to UK currency. When I called MasterCard and advise them I never did this purchase they advise me there was nothing they could do and my only recourse would be to cancel my credit card and wait 7-10 days for a new card. It took me days to find this company when I finally did, their customer service was incredibly rude told me she can give me $50 refund. I was surely heated in my phone call to them, and said this is nothing but a scam and you people should be ashamed of yourselves and that you already stollen $450 from me I'm not getting just $50 back I want my full refund. After many phone conversations with their customer service representative (and I use that term loosely) she gave me the name of the owner don't know if it's the right name so I'm going to call on Monday morning a the company is out of North Carolina but yet they have a Mississauga phone number. SCAM

Sadly - I too had the same experience - credit card charged - no product delivered. In fact, I did cancel on the last possible day - but they had already put through the charge and I don't think they ever intended to ship anything. Someone responded after my first contact with them (and indicted they would be sending out product), but since then, they have ignored me. Fortunately - no further charges to my credit card. I wish I had done more research.

june 2016 - this is a SUBSCRIPTION company, that gives MISLEADING information upon ordering.
DO NOT ORDER.
they told me i could receive a $60 refund if i provided them with a letter from my bank stating that my refund could be forwarded to my paypal rather than onto my already cancelled mastercard. Has anyone successfully done this? i do not wish to provide further financial information to such a company.

Nothing in the box stating any contact info or terms and conditions. The product doesn't even work. The representative I spoke to Byron was a complete *** BEWARE AND DO NOT PRCHASE!

A hard lesson to learn! They are definitely a fraud!

Agree. TD MasterCard refused to refund my money stating I accepted the terms, even though I didn't know that there were any! They sounded like employees in on the scam telling me almost verbatim that I had 14 days to cancel and how I should have read the terms (where?) and I should have investigated the company first, etc. Meanwhile the company charged my credit card immediately for the shipping, but waited 14 days to charge my credit card for the product. So how would I even know to cancel something when initially nothing seemed wrong. I got the sample and paid shipping. I did later notice that I was charged 3 different amounts for shipping. But by the time I saw. $150 Cdn charged to my credit card it was past 14 days and they refused to allow me to return the products. I hadn't even opened the boxes yet! There was no return address. As per Visa, they purposely do not give an RMA # or address so you can't send the products back for a refund. After calling and complaining they agreed to refund 2 x $50 US, half of the product charged to my credit card. They should be shutdown. I think the only reason Visa wouldn't help is because they would be out a lot of money because of the high volume of complaints.

Maybe we need a lawyer to file a class action law suit. I asked them to send me proof the "subscription" I never agreed to is now cancelled. They said they would email it to me, but never did. Asked them to send my the agreement they say I accepted, but they didn't because of course I never signed on.

TD Visa and the company say I accepted it online, but I did no such thing, and they have no proof that I did. Furthermore, I ordered the sample on the phone. The lady mentioned subscription and said wait, please clarify, I am not subscribing, so if that is what this is, I don't want to proceed. I hadn't given my credit card. She said no it isn't. I asked to tell me exactly what am I paying for, us this really a free sample only. She said yes, that I am only paying $5.00 for the shipping. I was very careful to ask questions about it and clarify on the phone. She said I would be contacted about how I liked the products, but I wasn't. When I saw the shipping charges, I thought everything was ok. But then 2 weeks later they charged my card again! Then they sent me another box so I called to say I didn't order another.

At first they even tried to tell me that since I called after 30 days they wouldn't cancel the subscription either because I was past the date to cancel the contract! What contract!

Criminals! They should go to jail.

I fell for it as well. I thought I was reading the terms properly and being careful as I'd heard of marketing scam's like this in the past but I got taken for $152 and $137 Canadian. The products did arrive, but they arrived one month after ordering them. Well past the 14 day trial period. I will do my best to see I don't fall for anything like this again. It does not seem like there is any recourse. Over the phone they simply said that I had agreed to the terms and conditions and they cannot offer a refund. I reiterated a few times that I didn't feel the terms and conditions were clear stated when I had agreed to them, and that a month had passed before I received the products. After a few minutes the representative said there was nothing more she could do to help and hung up the phone. By email, Support@TruBelleza.com they re-stated the terms and conditions just as the phone operator had done. They did provide a link to the terms and conditions after I asked for it. They offered to give me a promo code for a free bottle as compensation after a few messages back and forth. I did not accept. I pushed for a refund on the unopened product which arrived one month after ordering it but all I have got so far is several copies of the terms and conditions over email. Not hopeful. Jealous of those who managed to get $100 refunded. At least it is something. It is an expensive lesson to learn.

I had the same experience, but fortunately I saw this conversation within a couple minutes of submitting my order for the trial product. I called the company immediately. First thing they asked is if I had read the terms and conditions and implied that that was it. I threatened to raise caca and even call my mp if they didn't completely cancel my order. They agreed to but, same as the person above, offered to send me the the product for $3x.00.
Won't do that again!

WOW! I had just filled in my name and address information on their website, but had not filled in the credit card portion. Then I get a call literally 2 minutes after from someone who sounded like they had a Filipino accent (obviously an offshore call centre) who was confirming all my information. He had my name and address and was going on and on about the product getting sent within 3-5 business days. I heard him out til the end when he asked how I would like to pay, Visa or Mastercard for the $4.95 shipping. So i proceeded to explain to him that I didn't want to provide my credit card number for a free trial, especially since i've been reading reviews that my credit will be charged $100-$200. THEN HE HUNG UP ON ME! He said "uh-huh" then hung up! SCAM ALERT MUCH! DO NOT provide any information to these people. Always read reviews of the company online, and see what people are saying before blindly providing your information! The product looks amazing based on all the videos that are promoting it, but maybe i'll wait until a more legitimate site (ie: Amazon) or a department store has it in stock. I'll live with the wrinkles for now rather than cause myself more wrinkles from the stress i'll be in trying to get my money back!

Hi,
I was also scammed and I'm very upset. I placed this order on April 20, 2016, My credit card was charged 5.14 and 6.45. for the promotion, then on May 6th I was charged 148.96 and I called about it when I saw it on my statement because I didn't know I was going to be charged. The product is still in the box, I have been too busy to even open it. Of course, when I called it was just over the 14 days which I was not aware of and apparently not the only one, so I couldn't send it back, so I cancelled it but meanwhile didn't know I was buying it in the first place. My credit card ended on May 6th so I thought that was it. Very poor customer service, reduced the price 38.48 for each one. OK fine, then I received my bill today and was charged another 134.92. I called again and no satisfaction. Why am I charged 134.92 when I cancelled it? I didn't even know I was charged this until today. This is not good enough. I am disgusted. To pay for this product and it's literally still in the box and I couldn't return it, It is not good enough ! I wish I had to check this out before hand. I told them today I am reporting this and then I find all your comments. It wouldn't be fit for me to say what I want, but TRU Belleza, you are no more TRU and you should be ashamed of yourselves. Your customer service is terrible and you are crooks. I have a confirmation telling me it takes 7-10 days after it leaves their warehouse to be delivered and they give you 14 days to check it out. Oh, this is a good one, on April 27, it's ready for shipment and then I'm charged May 4, transaction date, Give me a break. How is this even allowed? I still can't find where it says 14 days and I was not told it. That support number is a joke, I believe it's the same person working on three different lines and 2 more pretending to be the supervisors. As others pointed out this is THEFT!

I ordered for Anti Wrinkle and serum free. They are not free at all.
I paid the order twice and I would receive a refund s.v.p. I've never allowed to take these amounts on my MasterCard.
Usually we get a glimpse of the order, I would never have allowed if I had seen the amounts. This is false advertising.
I expect a refund in the shortest possible time

Same thing happened to me. Before I realized that there was even a 14 day trail. My credit card showed two charges, one for 99 and one for 80 something. I called the number trying to stay calm. Once they offered me $40 on each charge. I said that's not acceptable. Then they offered me $50 on each product totalling $100. That's not acceptable either. I'm still out almost $100. I demanded a full refund from these people. Well, I got hung up on several times. When I demanded to talk to a supervisor each time the person I was talking to said that they were the supervisor. Not only that, they would also put me on hold and say that they were going to talk to the"finance department". Yeah right, there's no finance department. I asked them what country I was calling, because it's obvious that nobody there is from South Carolina. Nobody would tell me. At the end of the day they refunded me $100 dollars and told me to ship the product back for the rest of my refund? I'm still not ok with this. I would like to shut this place down. I don't normally get scammed. I would consider myself a smart consumer, but they caught me off gaurd. It was a horrible judgement call on my part to trust this "free "trial. . The names they gave me are Victoria, Andrea, Anne, and Ricky.

Total scam! Call their customer service line [protected] and hang on the line. Demand a refund and stay on the line with the customer service rep until you get one - $100 US was the max I could get. My credit card company said they have had many complaints against this business and that they have the legal side figured out, still unethical but apparently legal. Make sure you get them to send you an email with the details of your cancellation as well as refund before you get off the phone with them. This is the only proof you have to give to your credit card company should they try to charge you again. Expensive lesson learned and to top it off, the product burned my eyelids. Stay clear of this company!

I also did not notice any terms & conditions and thought I was only agreeing to the $3.95 USD charge. A month later I was charged $149.99 CAD and my credit card company gave me a different number to call [protected]). It was a Sunday so the answering machine said that the normal business hours were 9-5, Monday to Friday. Luckily I did not hang up right away because I was then connected to a live person anyway! How deceiving! After much arguing, I managed to get back a "courtesy refund" of $50 USD. I made sure I got a product cancellation reference number, as well as a refund reference number for my credit card company.

I got sucked in on the free trial. Word you have 14 days to cancel. Wrong the two separate orders for 10.00 US funds added. For free trial, one for wrinkle cream, then the surm.
I didn't even get the chance to stop order during the 14 days when I was charged 24 hours after full price for of each item 134.75 US plus shipping the other order 150.00 plus shipping. Within the week of that order I was charged again for both products separate. 410.00 dollars on my card. Wow. You don't even get a chance to us the 14 day so called freebie before they charge your card behind your back. Bull.
What they DO NOT TELL YOU ITS US FUNDS AFTER THE FACT found out you can order from Canada
What they DO NOT TELL YOU YOU HAVE TO PHONE TWICE TO CANCEL YOUR ORDERS, TWO SEPARATE NUMBERS FOR WRINKLE AND ANOTHER FOR SRUM. I found this out through my credit card company. My card company told me as I read my bill with them IN DEED AFTER MT FREE SAMPLE THEY BILLED ME 24 hours after the full price of each, and 24 hours before the 14 day trial was to be canceled they billed again full price of each product..
Guess what before I was able to cancel anything I was charged 400.00 dollars. PAID IN FULL. when I phoned all the numbers that were given and spoke to someone the feed back from their end was a joke. I had to phone three times to cancel each order and the background feed back was a joke . I could not hear a damn word being said, I kept repeating can you switch your phone over so there is no feed back. This went on for a hour. I said f it. Phone my card company and said cancel all charges. SCAM 100, 000% SCAM

Dear TRU BELLEZA SUPPORT?

Just wanted to send you a note to thank you so much for helping me lose weight in my bank count $152.00 Canadian Dollars.
Your skincare product was hard to resist thinking it would help me minimize aging lines which you guys are great at promotions. I guess this would be with everyone’s money that you’re scamming from. KEEP IN MIND KARMA HAS WAYS OF COMING AROUND  CAN’T WAIT TO SEE WHAT IS IN STORE!
Please understand the cream I ordered was to help reduce lines however this experience has allowed me to gain more lines from stress. Thank you so much for aging me with your products .
I Want to also mention that you have the best customer service, nothing better than someone talking over you. Repeating themselves like a robot even when you tell them that you want to cancel services they repeat the same thing over. Also you should know as a company dealing with advanced skincare products. Takes more than 14 days to allow skin to adjust to new products. I bet you if I asked customer service skincare details they wouldn’t be able to explain a thing. I couldn’t even understand MARINE that what I have to call her because she didn’t even introduce herself to me. OOH MARNIE HOW I LOVED YOUR INTERACTION!
My favorite part was when she hung up on me. After she did that it reminded me to put on Madonna’s song Hung up! I haven’t heard it in a while.
She had to be one of the rudest people I’ve spoken with in a long time. All I say about this is she is 5-star quality very class act. I wonder how she feels at the end of her shift when she goes home. Knowing she is scamming other people’s hard working money. Donna summers I think MARNIE will remake your classic song “She Works Hard for The Money”
I’m sure other people are dancing like I am, called the angry dance and yelling cursing I’m telling you these people make good hits.
This company also slipped when they sent me email talking about the product I ordered. Sending me information about a totally different company! Which is a similar scam product.
The lesion here is to NOT order products on line, the fine print is hidden and this is where they get you and your stuck. TRU BELLEZA SKIN CARE PRODUCTS & ANY DIET PILLS pop ups.

PLEASE FORWARD THIS MESSAGE SO NO ONE HAS TO EXPEREINCE THIS!

KARMA IS A B HAVE A GREAT DAY MARNIE!
