Trend Micro unauthorized charge on my credit card

I cancelled trend micro a few years ago AND this is a new computer that doesn't even have your program. Please refund the credit card charge.
12.28.16 $35.95 Even if you did not turn off the automatic renewal I have not had this charge on this computer until now. Someone is mis using information.

Trend Micro karan #120

Today I called customer service and spoke to Karan #120. I am having problems downloading your premium security multi device protection. I was on the phone for an hour and 9 minutes to be exact. The problem never got solved. I was told I had to purchase network firewall! For the amount of $500.00! I am terribly upset with your employee! I would like my money back or an upgrade! Please respond soonest possible so that we may resolve this issue. Thank you, Sylvia Gonzalez

I am very disappointed at the result of my complaint. The c/s rep was very rude and has very poor c/s skills. I will never purchase another product from Trend Micro and I will recommend others not to as well. I express very firmly that you get better c/s reps for your company, if not you will defininetly lose more customers. With over 20 years experience myself as a customer service representative. I would of got fired or fired whom ever is not doing ones job correctly. Thank You for nothing! S. Gonzalez

Trend Micro unauthorized billing

If you are reading this, it is likely that your personal information, including a credit card number, have been hacked. The only effective things at this point are to call your credit card company and block all future charges from Trend Micro. No matter the inconvenience, request a new credit card number. YES - You most likely need a new card number !

If you only can prevent future charges to your account, you are likely doing well. Any refunds will likely depend on your credit card company and your credit rating with that company.

With regard to Trend Micro, there are many places to complain but few that can help. If your credit card company refuses to block future charges, complaints about them are fairly effective if made to the Treasury Department's Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Local and State Banks may require some State agency for complaints.

Put your energy where it will be effective. Read the complaints below. Recognize that you are already in trouble and do anything to stop the flow
of money from you to Trend Micro. Worry about refunds later. There appears to be little recourse on this. Stay focused on stopping the crime against you. I wish I had better news on this.

Trend Micro unauthorized credit card change

We discontinued our service with them last year. then in Dec. billing came out for new year, it is on my American express bill again. This was not authorized. We already have a new virus protector. We need help with this. We are being charged 38.47. Thanks David and Vicky

Trend Micro unsure???

To whom it may concern. This company took an unauthorized amount of money from my account ($80.95). I did not authorize this to be taken out. So I would appreciate the money returned to my account or I will be forced to get my attorney involved as i'm in bankruptcy.

Trend Micro Was charged three time two times for the same service and alwayse without my permission

My name is Aleksandr Lagutin. My email: lagutin.[protected]@yahoo.com. I found that I was charged twice for the same service - one time 09.01.2014 $71.95 credit card ending 8877 and 08.04.2014 $61.95 credit card ending 2528. I send request to return the money back but didn't get any respond. This year I was charged 80.95credit card ending 2528 without my permission. Is it possible that somebody will respond or this company don't care about it reputation and customers? Please return my money.

Trend Micro unauthorized charge on credit card

I was charged for an unauthorized anti Dri*Trend Micro which I never ordered or received. Please credit my charge card as soon as possible. I had contacted, by phone, case #1-1-[protected] and was referred to another case # [protected] on December 3rd and was not satisified with the results and am asking you to please remove the charge from my credit card now.

Trend Micro unauthorized charge to cc

I have been trying to get these charges of $38.47 x 4, (Years which I can prove I have been charged for nothing) removed from my credit card. The computer that software was installed in has since been destroyed basically because of the problem of which started with continually recieving pop-up boxes stating that my anti-virus software license had expired. However when I tried to get removed from my credit card they would not remove unless I wrote the dri*trend to credit my card this can't be done since because no billing was received except when I get charged on my credit card every (6) year on my december credit card statement.. Where do I go to get this charge removed as soon as possible. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I did not use my credit card for any item on the first of July and I don't know what this could be for. This charge is unauthorized for the amount of $44.95. Please let me know what the charge was for. I have no other information other than our credit card bill. Please reimburse me for these charges.

Trend Micro unauthorized renewal

My daughter's Visa card was billed for 35.99 - an unauthorized charge for software. What I find really unusual is that a) we never used her card to purchase the laptop nor the antivirus originally, b) we NEVER authorize automatic renewals for anything, and c) there was no request for a renewal. We had purchased the machine from Future Shop and they were able to provide a local number (lucky) for Trend...from there we were transferred to the call center (Philippines of course, so language was a challenge) but we did get the charge reversed (we shall see) and the automatic billing cancelled. The amount of information they ask for made me nervous (email addresses, street addresses, phone number) so I would give them only part of the info they requested (if they are verifying a phone number for example, give them just the last four digits). Toll free number for cancellations is [protected] and select option 2 (this was done by the girl that transfered me from the local number).

Trend Micro refund

On the 27th jun, an amount of sgd79.63 was charged to my card from "digital river int luxembourg lu" is what it says on my statement for an auto renewal from trend micro. I have contacted trend micro and demand for a full refund and according to their customer support team that the money will be credit back to my bank within 7 days and as of today is already more than 7 days and I did not see the money. Been calling trend micro and different people telling me different thing. Last conversation was today, 10th jul with patrick and according to him was, I have to wait for another 5 to 7 working days and this is unacceptable. Is a very small amount of money and I don't understand why digital river took such a long period of time to return me my money. This is outrageous. Here, I demand for the money to be credited back to my bank by today otherwise I will have to get my lawyer to speak to them.

Trend Micro charged without request

Trend micro did not protect my computer from a virus. I removed this product from my computer in the fall of 2012, and did not request a renewal but was charged $44.95 on 5/18/13. I am unable to locate a phone number to talk with this company and request that they reimburse me the $44.95 and never charge my card again.

Trend Micro unauthorized credit charge

On 4/12/13 I received a charge on my card for $44.95. I contacted my bank, but as they have not gotten back to me, I decided to check online for similar charges. Seems this happens A LOT.
I downloaded a free trial of trend micro titanium for my PC, - a 30 day free trial. This trial expires on 4/29/13. I did not "buy now" or authorize the payment to this company for the 44.95.
Based upon other stories on this site, I get the feeling that these charges are made first to "test" if people question it. If not, another charge is made. I noticed.
I want my full amount refunded. YESTERDAY.
Seeing as though this is a large enough problem for the first 5 pages on Google are dedicated to it. . ..I want my account refunded the FULL amount.

Trend Micro customer service

On March 26th, 2013 I contacted Trend Micro as my computer was stating Virus Protection not found. After spending 15 minutes trouble shooting with customer service my problem was still un resolved. The customer service person stated the virus was protection was working but he she was unsure why the computer was stating virus software not found. I requested someone at a higher level where I was told I would need to speak to a Level 2 technicican but it would take time to gwt approval. I explained ot her that this appears to be a relatively simple issue and therefore I could not understand why it has not been resolved. In addition, due to prior experience with Trend I knew the hold time would be astronomical and I could not wait so I hung up. I called back this evening and again was told I need a Level 2 tech and permission would be needed. As I writer this note i am on hold waiting. The customer service is poor. The system is poor. No one should need to wait on hold over 10 minutes to first get approval. As I said I have had an issue in the past and between the "approval wait time" and resolution after speaking with the Level 2 tech it turned out to be a 3 hour, yes 3 hour ordeal.

Trend Micro unauthorized charges

No one at this LAW FIRM authorized these charges of $71.95 on our office Capital One credit card. These charges need to be ALL reimbursed to avoid further court action. Charges occured on 10/31/12 and 12/15/12 in the amount of $71.95. And on 10/31/11 and 12/15/11 in the amount of $62.95. We will take the necessary steps to get this resolved. Call the number provided to discuss this further.

I did not authorize trend micro to charge my credit card . I have had MaCafee For my internet online security for over a year now.

I received a charge for $44.95 plus a late fee of $15.00 plus.75 for interest on my credit card. I urge you to refund $60.70 immediately.

Trend Micro trend micro spam investigation team

My IP has been blocked by Trend Micro Inc and they refuse to provide contact information in the form of MD's name telephone number and address so that I can formally complain about their actions. They say that they have recieved Spam from the IP address but will not provide evidence. They refuse to bahave like a professional or legitimate company and all communication comes from Priscilla Pareja Spam Investigations Team Trend Micro Inc.. There is no way of knowing in which country these communications originate. Is this a legitimate company and if so can anything be done to force the company to bahave in a legitimate and professional manner and to communicate properly with anyone that is affected by its activities. Is there a recourse to law to seek compensation and to bring this company to account for its actions?

Your IP has been blocked from what? Did they add your IP to an anti phishing list or something like that because they claim you were spamming or did they block your IP from emailing them specifically? You have to be a lot more specific about what's going on mate.

I finally found a phone number (call trend micro head office and ask for customer service) and demanded they cancel this renewal and credit me, first they said they would stop the auto renewal for next year and I would not be billed i told them this was not acceptable and they agreed to cancel i got an email confirming cancellation i will wait and see if they credit my account.

I was charged as well and do not know who thery are at first my mastercard company said they could not help me after I threatened to to cancel my card they agreed to put in a dispute to the bank of DRI Trend. Everyone needs to demand there credit card company to dispute so we can stop this company from ripping people off.
