This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

You order for secial promotion Life Cleanse Diet pills as a trial, for £1.00 but in their Terms & Conditions have the right to send you more at a cost of £79 + £3.95 postage.
Be aware they aren't that good! The phone number isn't a UK based one so could be Premium rate, wouldn't confirm if they would do a refund on return of product, telephonist has just put the phone down on me saying they will correspond via e-mail only!

Think carefully before you use this promotion on the internet!

Hi everyone, anotehr horrendous day trying to fix up this mess with these ###. (I am thinking works much worst but have been swearing all day so I have got to stop).
I spoke at length to my credit company this morning, I was in tears. I had cancelled my credit card thinking this mus fix the problem. How can they charge to my credit card when its cancelled. Well I was wrong. The charges from the old cancelled card go on to the new card! What the f--k? OK deep breaths, try not to break something. My credit card provider in OZ (westpac) are pretty good with dealing with situations like this. They ahve been checking out this scam as a result of a number of calls. They advised me to ensure I wrote and cancelled to these three addresses:
SE Speedmaster enterprises Ltd
3 Athinodorou St
2025 Dasoupoli
Strovolos
Nicosia
Cypress

Farend services
PO Box 10276 Desmoines
Iowa 50381
USA

Farend Services Ltd
654 North 800 East # 505
Spanish Fork
Utah 84660
USA.

They have checked what amount I have been charged and I have disputed each charge, they say I have a good chance of recovering my money. As I mentioned in my last rant I did ring and cancel the order and received a cancellation number. I thought it may have been a made up number by the person who I spoke to, I rang back the next night and got another guy and told him to cancel the order, he looked up my details and said did you ring up yesterday and cancel, and quoted the same cancellation number. So that might have worked.

I also read the Terms and Conditions carefully, and they are in breach of contract as they have not kept to their own Terms and Conditions by not providing proper facilities for customers to cancel orders, or contact them by either phone or email. Now I think this is important because my credit card provider will want to know that I have done everything in my power to cancel the order, which I have but its pretty hard when there are no details on any of the websites, and I never got any paperwork with the first "free trial' package. Also the ### about the free trial days begining as soon as the goods are sent is pretty much a ridiculous condition that a court would never uphold in terms of contract law.

I am grateful to everyone who has put stuff on this site, because it has helped me on the way. I hope this is of some help and I will keep posting news as it happens. I am also on the case of teh 24hr rapid detox people in OZ, I have not signed up with them bt I reckon its the same type of scam so I am out to expost them on national TV.

Good luck all!

Everybody! Go to the website www.effectivecleanse.com, read the terms and conditions. Use the phone number thats listed there to ring and cancel the order. Get a cancellation number. Request a refund as well. Then send in writing a refund request and confirm your order cancellation to the address shown in the refunds section of the terms and conditions. Follow their instructions exactly. Send it registered express mail.

CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD IMMEDIATELY. AND NEVER EVER EVER TAKE UP ANY FREE TRIAL ### AGAIN. The only way to stop ### like this is to spread the word to everyone and warn them, and keep it in mind EVERY time you use the internet. This is the THIRD organisation that I have been stung by this month. Teeth whitening is another one. Luckily I cancelled the other two before the products were either sent or charged to my card. And with my card cancelled, they can not get anymore of my money. I will NEVER order ### on line again! PS I am from OZ, watch out for the 48hr rapid detox company, they are also scammers.

Update on comment made 3/10/09. E-mailed 6 different places yesterday. Rec'd e-mail back today (put special handling on my e-mail showing they had received and opened my mail) from [support@tradingplanetltd.com]. They had all their dates correct as to when I rec'd the product, etc. Bottom line I am now out of pocket $520.00 CDN. You need to cancel within 3o days from your initial order. Unfortunatley by the time you receive your Charge Card statement they have already shipped out second shipment which is over the 30 day cancellation date. Therefore you are screwed unless you are keeping track of your credit card purchases on-line which I unfortunately was not doing...now I am! I notice some people were cancelling their credit cards thinking this would stop this company from shipping and charging you for more product. Unless your Credit Card Co.'s handle things differently than mine, I was told unless you get cancellation #'s from this company you will be stilled be billed for the charges bu the Credit Card Co. In the e-mail they confirmed that my "account has been cancelled successfully. This cancellation implies that no further charges will be made by our company and no product will be shipped out to you." I hope this information is helpful..because of this site I gained some pertinent information that allowed me to deal with this messy situation. All I can say is...I hope these creeps has a "Very Merry Christmas, " cause they just ruined mine. I will have to work extra shifts and dip into my savings to pay this bill while they are floating around in their yachts. They only thing I can afford is a rubber raft! When I cool off I am going to put in a complaint to whomever will listen.

I have just managed to get through on this phone number [protected] after trying for a week. Optus, my Australian communication company, were able to put me through. The Optus receptionist said it was a Polish phone number!

I didn't read the small print and was away in the UK for a month, when packages were delivered to my home.
When I couldn't get through to this company on the phone number provided, I cancelled my credit card.
The male telephonist took my details, said he had cancelled my order and someone from the company would be in contact via email.

If I don't get satisfaction I may go to the media. I am thinking of sending an email to A Current Affair TCN 9, or Today Tonight Channel 7, so that others are aware of this scam!

Im not gallible but got caught by these fraudsters. looking at the history of complaints I ask how can they continue to operate such a scam in the UK with impunity for so long?
I will follow advice offerred above "send a letter to the company at the Livingston address cancelling all your orders from them. Keep a photocopy and get a Proof of Posting receipt from the Post Office. By law that is treated as received by them 24 hours after you posted it. Beyond that the card company can then use that as a basis for challenging any further attempts to charge your credit card or bank account."
Someone asked for the address. The invoice that came with the unrequested pot of pills to me has:
Trading Planet Ltd,
Ordman House,
31 Arden Close,
Bradley Stoke,
Bristol,
BS32 8AX
United Kingdom

I can't guarantee if its the same address for all as I don't know if these guys have other outlets

Rec'd Credit Card statement yesterday and almost passed out! I rec'd the first shipment several wks ago...took one dose and became extremely nauseated..so did not take anymore. Being naive believed the trial offer was complimentary and one would purchase more if product was acceptable. I live in Eastern Canada so set alarm to wake up for 0400 (I was so upset I did not sleep most of night anyway) to call the UK toll free #[protected] as recording stated they opened at 0800 local time. Talked to a guy named Rocco who stated "experiencing technical difficulties" so unable to give me a Cancellation # (per instructions from my Credit Card Co.) Was told to call back in 1 hr which I did, still "having technical difficulties." Called again in 2 hrs and got recording as per above. Called again in 3 hrs and got someone called Mary who could only give me Cancellation # for Colon Cleanse and not Acai Berry as she claimed, "I had purchased Acai Berry from another company." I told her both products were labelled VIV3 labs but to no avail. She said that I would have to pay for initial product of $129.00 CDN and the one that had already been shipped would be credited. Said I did not have to send product back even though Credit Card Co. suggested I do so. (After reading all the blogs about addressess being changed would have no clue where to send it too anyway.) I then called the # in Ontario, Canada [protected] and spoke to Kelly, who seemed very knowledgeable, and she found where I had ordered the Acai Berry. She also confirmed further shipments would be cancelled and gave me Cancellation # for the Acai Berry and reconfirmed Cancellation # for the Colon Cleanse as well as cancellation of that order. She seemed confused by the fact that the Mary in the UK could not find on computer where I had purchased both products...she had no trouble finding it. She confirmed my e-mail address and supposedly I am to receive an e-mail in the next few days. So at this point, will just wait for few days for e-mail and if I do not receive will be calling back to the phone # in Ontario. Thanks for suggestions from others re: sending certified letter and e-mails to support above. WHAAAAAT A MEEEESSS!

I too have fallen for this scam. I ordered the life cleanse and acai berry on a free trial, only had to pay for the postage & packing of £3.95. I had a bad feeling after ordering these pills, checked my bank account to find they
had taken £4.14 plus overseas transaction £1.00. After searching and finding this site full of complaints, i tried to phone them [protected]. I was told the computer systems were down and to phone back in 1 hour, 15 minutes later i tried them again only to find the phone line had been disconnected. I sent them an e-mail to
support@viv3.com only to receive one back saying that they could not deal with my request by e-mail and to phone to cancel my order. I have been to the bank today and cancelled my cards, so they cannot take any money from my account, also i am sending them a letter to cancel my account. Lets hope i cancelled everything in time.

OMG i cant believe i got scammed to. i decided to try the free trial and within a week i recieved the acai berry detox and also noticed that i had been charged £119 so i rang the customer service and the lady told me she would cancel the contract i apparently agreed to but i would not be able to get a refund. this is total ### as i cancelled within the 15 days, they should have only charged for postage and package. i really need that money bk do you legal advise will help?

Do not trust any of these companies, they are linked to one particular director and I would assume all have links to the kind of scam we have suffered.

Address details on all of these companies are available from Companies House Website free of charge and for a small fee you can request any documents the company has filed with them, which may lead you to a residential address or 2 for these scammers.

May the force be with you all in your vengeance.

I've also fallen victim to this scam, initially ordered the acai berry & life cleanse detox on a 1 quid trial offer. Then I was billed extra in $US by smart health & age defy. Had to cancel my card. Today I've just recieved a 79 quid bottle of colon cleanse that I did not order, will send it back and hopefully they won't send any more. after reading the comments I'll probably not bother calling from New Zealand. good luck everyone.

Ordering this product can be the worst decision one can make. Not only do they not answer their phones, half of the numbers are not connected to cancel any orders and they take your money before your trial period is up.My order number was [protected], and my customer number was [protected] it was shipped from where ever on the 15/10/2009.I did not get it until the 24/10/2009 and they took the money from my account without any notice on the 31/10/2009.This is totally wrong considering I had a bad reaction to these suppliments and no customer support was available. If I can not get a refund I will take legal action against this company as my health is worth more than their standover tactics.I have proof to when I received this as I had to pick them up from my local post office as I was not home when the delivery guy came.
Someone needs to make them be accountable

Very valid ... I was fortunate enough to be able to hunt them down and cancel before the 14 days were up. They didn't make it easy. There was no email from them confirming my order was processed or shipped . Only I check my visa on line every day that I was able to Find a charge from HELPYOURHEALTH with a bunch of #'s after it and googled it did I discover the scam. Some poor woman in the United States is bombarded with emails for something she had nothing to do with. This company scammed her web name.

I too got caught with this, got my trial pack, 2nd lot arrived today 30.10.09, phoned immediately to say I hadn't ordered them, had the most obnoxious so called customer service agent, who when I was not taking the crap she was giving me hung up on me, I then phoned back & all she did was talk over me, I phoned a 3rd time got different agent, who started out nice enough but when I was putting up a fight said she was terminating my call. I phoned Cr Card company, they have had a number of these complaints & are investigating it, no money was taken from my acc - yet, she advised that I return the goods by registered post & fax the details to the cr. card company, I have forwarded them copies of everything & they have said that no money should be taken. However, my concern is that they keep changing company name, I've sent them copy of the invoice detials so I'm hoping that'll help. I've been told by the agent that my account is closed & I'm waiting on the so called email from their finance department. I will update!

I too have been stiched up by this company when they sent 2 lots of pills just one week apart and charged 3 times. Rang their customer service who I could hardly understand as they were from the Indian subcontinent I think. Have cancelled my card and got a cancellation number from them. I am still Emailing them to demand atleast one refund and will give them 72 hours to respond positively otherwise will go to the Office of Fair Trading in the UK and lodge a report as well as going to one of our local current event TV shows here as they like to expose these people publicly...let's see how we go! They got me too. ordered the free trial 3-4 months ago just paid for the post and packaging. Yesterday they sent me another bottle with out me actually making an order and took £82.95 out of my bank account without my permission!
So angry. When i called the UK customer service number just a moment ago and spoke to a lady called MARY she said it was in the term and conditions that you are now tired into this contract. I said that i wanted to cancel and speak to someone higher up she said she could forward my call and will cancel my account and some will contact me via email in 72 hours about the situation!
I dont trust them at all. I will be calling my bank to see what i can do and will be traking legal action against the company and reporting them to watchdog.

I have just managed to cancel my order after phoning the number every half hour all day today. I think e-mail is the best way to go.
The phone numbers just keep you on hold and no-one answers. The e-mail I got through today is ...www. support@tradingplanetltd.com

They are trading under many names and simpley don't want to get back to you. They also cancel the order on the day they replied...not the day I sent the e-mail. This makes cancellation within the 15 days very tough! They are dishonest and have no interest in what they're selling which I now am putting in the bin. If they can be this dishonest I can't imagine what's in the tablets they're sending out but I'm not risking it. Good luck to all those yet to cancel. London

When I rang Trading Planet to cancel my order, I was given a cancellation number but was told I could only get a refund if I had cancelled within the 15 days even though their "terms" state you are entitled to one refund within 30 days of order date. The foreign woman just kept repeating that phrase to every thing I said. In the end I just told her if they were that desperate they might as well have the £75 & that they are a bunch of thieves!
Have called my bank told them exactly what happened and they have put a block on them taking anymore payments from my card details.
Ok I've lost £75 but I guess that's the price I have to pay for being foolish & it could've been a lot worse.

LET'S GET THEM STOPPED.

Hi just too let you all know that by 9.10am Monday morning I had gotten a cancellation number from Trading Planet Ltd using [protected] if you are in the UK. Also spoke to my credit card company and apparently 80% of the calls they are dealing with at the moment are dealing with issues of this nature. Due to the fact that the company puts the terms and conditions on another page is how they can get away with it. When I challenged the customer service rep about the fact my order was placed on the 3rd October and wasn't shipped until the 15th October and in the advert it says shipping will be between 3 - 5 days and therefore, they had broken their terms and conditions - she put the phone down. I could not get a refund for the first bill of £74 but I did get a cancellation number. I suppose I should be grateful that my husband checks our statement on line otherwise it could have been alot worse! I think I may look into setting something up on facebook to make people aware of what really is a big scam to get peoples money.

Can I just say that like most people who have posted comments here I ordered the free trial in good faith without any inclination that I was entering into a scam of mon thly subscription fees - no way would I ever have done this! I am a well educated individual who works hard for my cash and I would never have enlisted for this. I like many of you feel very strongly about this so called 'buisness' they obviously have no ethics and conscience. We are in a recession and most people do not like to part with their cash. I am going to be contacting both watchdog and trading standards. I have a written a letter which I will be sending recorded delivery to both the Bristol and West Lothian address to confirm I wish to cancel my so called 'subscription.' I have also sent an email stipulating the same thing. First thing Monday morning at 8am I will be contacting my credit card company as well. My issue like everyone else is the fact they do not make it obvious that you are signing up for a £79 a month subscription (thats what I was charged just for 30 tablets!)

I was stupid enought to do the same but have cancelled the order easily - just had to hang on to phone for 10 mins. I have a cancellation number and I don't have to return the pills (which I found in Holland & Barrett for about a fiver for 120!) I have yet to wait and see if the cancellation is genuine but becasue of the number think it may be.

The UK number is [protected]

Good luck!

I was too fooled by this scam company..free trial...not. I have kept my first receipt when the delivery arrived and it's headed "Trading Planet ltd". Oddly enough, when the charge of £76.86 appeared on my credit card, and the second delivery arrived, the receipt was headed "HealthScience" but displayed the same address and contact details.
I called "Vanessa" on the telephone number today and cancelled the order. She was not exactly helpful and seemed to have the sentence "read the small print" on repeat.
I will apparently be contacted by the Complaints department within 72 hours via email. How surprising I thought, perhaps this is the only way that they can manage their workload which must be huge.
I too will be cancelling my credit card today and requesting a new one.
It's clear that these people with their minute small print are cashing in on the embarrassment and vulnerability of all that have put their faith into a widely advertised product.
Take everyones advice on this website and don't fall for it.
Personally, I'm taking this to Trading Standards and other agencies too.

i too fell for this. as soon as i got the product i thought i would check out the name on the invoice only to find this discussion board. after a sleepless night i went straight to the banck and cancelled my account today, took half an hour and only have to wait ten days for a new card all money in old account was transferred job done and no loss of money. my advice is get straight to the bank and cancel your account as the bank told me just cancelling your card will not work, good luck everyone x

WOW - my "spidey senses" were tingling after I ordered this morning, and immediately googled and found this site. I immediately called [protected] - waited for about 2 minutes - spoke to agent - cancelled - and got two cancellation numbers.

After that - I called Mastercard to have card cancelled and to get "new card" with "new number" mailed out to me. Old card number is now dead!

Did everything in under an hour!

Any re-precussions from my actions? Thinking that with old credit number gone - they can't charge - can they?
