In march of 2012, i was contacted by ms. Tracy gray of naples, florida. She claimed to be a licensed model agency, going under the name of "five star productions". Ms. Gray proposed that i photograph a number of models whom she claimed to represent. To gauge her "authenticity", i referred to her a 14 year old girl whom i had started as a fashion model, and whose father is a close personal friend. Upon meeting them, and outside of my presence, ms. Gray attempted to "sell" them a $1, 000 "runway course", after i specifically instructed her that there were to be no charges made financially upon any of the models who i referred to her. After i photographed the models, i came to discover that, indeed, she did not represent them. The terms of our agreement were that upon photographing these people, i was to immediately turn over a full dvd of each person photographed. This, is did. I also included a copy for ms. Gray, laboring under the assumption that she actually represented these people as fashion models. It is a full two months later. Ms gray has turned over none of the images to any of the people who paid her the fees. Fortunately, i "smelled a rat" immediately upon meeting ms. Gray, and decided to file of the images i took on a seperate hard drive. Although being unber no legal obligation to do so, i have been dilligently mailing copies of the dvd's out to the people whom i photographed, who have not has satisfaction from ms. Gray. Ms. Gray, as we speak, attepting similar scams with other photographers whom are most probably unaware of her modus operandi. A number of angry mothers in the area have banded together in an effort to notify the public of this person's fraudulent operation, ant these efforts seem to have had some positive effect. I have notified the major model concerns in new york, miami, and los angeles, who are now aware of ms. Gray's pattern of misrepresentation. If this person approaches you or your child, representing herself as "the owner of a model agency" in naples, fl. , be aware! She has no model agence, but rather, works out of her home. She has no car, no office, and no website. Most importantly, she has no certified license in the state of florida to run either a school or a model agency.
THIS WOMAN IS THE TEXTBOOK EXAMPLE OF THE CLASSIC "MODELSCAMMER". HER BACKGROUND IN THE INDUSTRY IS FROM OPERATING "CHARM SCHOOLS", MODEL SCHOOLS AND PAGEANTS, WHERE EVERYTHING REVOLVES AROUND CHARGING THE TALENT DIRECTLY, INSTEAD OF BOOKING THE MODELS FOR LEGITIMATE WORK, AND COLLECTING THE APPROPRIATE MODEL FEES THRU A LEGITIMATE CLIENT. SHE IS IN "CAHOOTS" WITH A FAIRLY UNETHICAL HAIRDRESSER/CUTTER IN NAPLES. TOGETHER, THEY ACTUALLY CHARGE THE PROSPECTIVE MODELS FOR CONSULTATIONS, EVEN "SKYPE SESSIONS". THEY BOTH HAD ONE POOR GIRL GETTING HER HAIR CUT AND COLORED THREE TIMES IN A SINGLE MONTH, UNTIL I CONTACTED THE MOTHER, AND HAD A STOP PUT TO IT. THE SAME GIRL HAS NOW BEEN PLACED NATIONALLY WITH THREE MODEL AGENCIES, FOR WHICH I DID NOT CHARGE A SINGLE CENT. AND, THIS IS AS IT SHOULD BE. TRACY GRAY IS NOTHING BUT A PURE BOTTOM FEEDER, EXPLOITING PARENTS AND THEIR CHILDREN. IS SHE APPROACHES YOU, KEEP IN MIND THAT SHE WILL TELL YOU THAT SHE IS A LICENSED AND BONDED MODEL AGENT. Mr. Clayton once again, Your saying that I colored a young girls hair three times in my salon in a month, Who was that?
This has never happened another complete lie about me once again.
What I know is that I had three separate appointments set by the mother of this little girl, Whom you must be talking about and are in cahoots with, Whom also received free hair and make up and ward robe to use from me for her friends daughter who was also there shooting with you, Who's mother did not like the first photo's you did and the make up done by your make up artist and both of these parents requested me and thanked me for doing so and liked their pictures and my work after they received after the fact because they emailed and called me telling me so.
Not to mention this same mother called and kept canceling her appointments for her daughter, upon the last cancellation she was informed that she could not get another appointment set with me in the future due to the abuse of consistently setting appointments and then canceling them at the last minute this is the salon's policy. They would have to come in in person and pay for their services up front and set the fourth appointment, so that the salon knows their time on the books is not being abused.
There for I never colored or cut this young girls hair EVER.
Her first cancellation excuse was that her husband came back in to town and she had to be home with him, the second cancellation she claimed to be sick, and the third and last cancellation's excuse was that her young daughter was having a mental and emotional break down due to you telling her and her daughter that no agency would sign her if she had highlights in her hair, While the mother was telling me this I could hear the young girl crying in the phone in the back ground. I told the mother to not worry about it and do what she thought was best for her daughter. And I will say being told this by this parent the situation raised more big red flags.
There for I have never done her hair outside of being at a shoot at the beach working along with you, Where her hair was not cut or colored by me, just brushed and curled, and her make up done.

Now as for my self being paid to do hair and make up through Ms. Grey, I have a contract with her for every client that is getting a photo shoot done through her I will be paid for my work on hair and make up, per person. This is standard policy through anyone getting there photo's done by any photographer or promotional or production company period. I do not receive any kind of payment let alone any finders fee's what so ever from Ms. Grey, I only receive pay for work done for hair and make up Period.
Ms. Grey as well as my self may be friends but on a biz level we are not working together to scam people do not scam people for moneys in this Industry, My resume, photo's and letters of recommendation speak volumes for me and no one but you making all this mubo jumbo up has ever complained to before. Your insanity is at it's best period.
If there is anything I do, It simply is to do the work contracted to me for hair and make up. As far as scouting people, I only do what I can to help those in need to help them better there careers and I have had no complaints. As far as models that you have photographed that I have worked on, there is only one that I have colored and cut and we both know that this young lady's parents are friends of yours, And if this was true about me they would be complaining and not returning to me for more hair services two months after you have gone and leaving happily from my salon as of yesterday. They do not clearly have any knowledge of what you are really all about and your Lie's posted about me and Ms. Grey let alone anyone else on this board. However I am sure that if they did knowing the caliber of people they are, nice, respectful, gracious, God Blessed people doing God's good work would probably steer clear of you. And what you are all about.Those poor people you should just leave alone before you damage them too.

I can tell you my name, I'm not Tracy. My name is Laura and I think very highly of you and your work. I still wish I could see few of the pictures you took me that evening at the film festival. I do not want to be in the middle of this situation, but just write about my experience with Tracy. It is sad and so disappointing to see all this, thinking back on how excited she was on you coming to Naples and us meeting you. To me, Tracy was always trying to help me get out there and never asked for anything.
I have met both Clayton and Tracy and I only have awesome things to say about both of them but honestly I am left with such a bitter taste to read all of this. I do not know the details but my personal experience with Tracy was only positive, she never asked me for 1 cent for any of the modelling jobs she suggested I should attend. Recently (the next day after Mr. Clayton's departure from Naples actually) I took the 2 daughters of one of my friends to Tracy, in a "discover new talent" meeting and she specified from the very beginning she is NOT an agency but a talent development company. One of the 2 girls is a pure beauty but she is pretty shy and don't have any experience in modelling. None whatsoever, and COACHING is what Tracy offered her services for, and never promised any future placements or modelling agency related services.
Also she referred me for an advertisement photo-shoot. I got the job, I thanked Tracy for referring me and asked her if I should pay her a percentage of it. Here is her own response to my question: " I'm still not agency licensed so I am not by law allowed to take pay for booking talents. Let me put your photos on my web site and brag about it and I'll be happy." and for me that says it ALL!
I would also like to add that Ms. GRAY just contaxted my 14 year old daugjter and asked her to post a positive on her page that she did reieve her photo CD. First of all a professional never would contact a child.
We did get our photo CD from Ms. Gray, albeit was 3 weeks later than promised. She wanted us to sign up for weekly acting classes via skype, but I was already starting to see the scam taking place. I learned crom a friend, how her haidresser/so-called makeup artist was trying to scam my friend and how she took liberties of taking a cut of the monies paid to her for Clayton Nelson's behalf. She even wanted a 100.00 finders fee for a model to shoot, for whom she did not even find...my friend suggested Clayton shiit he. We had a positive ezperience shooting with Clayton and taking his advise and durection.
Tracy has helped me out so much and not once has she made me pay for anything. I find it quite ridiculous that each and everyone of you are making false accusations about this woman. Tracy is all about helping models get exposed. Unless you have proof of such acts than I suggest you worry about yourself and stop accusing an innocent person
