I bought a Toyota Etios in September 2015 and one for my daughter in Febuary 2016, i payed cash for both cars, my one has been in to Toyota almost every month, because it refs up to 2000 refs and stays there for a while before it drops, every time i take it in they clean the throttle, they say that is all they can do, the car isn't even a year old and its been in about 9 times and Toyota has not sorted my cars problem out, they say its only in the eastern cape that they have the problem that the Etios refs up, almost a year and the problem is still there, very unhappy with Toyota, i feel they could have told me that they have that problem in the eastern cape, in other words they new about the problem, but still sold me the cars.

NEVER LEASE FROM TOYOTA, Florida dealer misrepresented lease 27 months CONTRACT WAS FOR 39 months. Termination of lease due to DEATH of Lessee will put estate into COLLECTIONS. Warranties are not a TOYOTA PRODUCT as stated by Florida dealer. Upon termination contacting a completely different business entity not associated with TOYOTA but all monies being RETURNED TO TOYOTA. NEVER LEASE FROM TOYOTA When dealing with TOYOTA representatives THE REP made statements full of double talk and directed to another company other than TOYOTA. DO NOT LEASE A VEHICLE FROM TOYOTA. 5 RECALLS ON 2013 CAMRY IN 3 MONTHS OF OWNER SHIP. Dealer refused any repairs, stated OUR leased VEHICLE has RUST it IS OUR DEALERSHIP PROBLEM. NEVER LEASE OR BUY A TOYOTA CAUTION

I bought a 2015 Corolla 1.8 executive only to find if you touch the door panels with the back of your hand or wipe your knuckle over, you left with a white mark that you have to remove with a damp cloth. After taking the vehicle to the dealer to inspect the issue and they agreed that it is a defect . I spoke to Toyota Head office twice and finally today they called me back, saying SORRY THAT IS THE CORRECT MATERIAL AND WE CAN NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR COMPLAIN SORRY SIR. Sad to say after 16 years we will not be doing any more business with Toyota . I was also waiting for the new Toyota double cab, One good thing about this issue is that I now know I need to go to Ford.

My mother visited the Toyota branch in Lephalale, and had parked her vehicle, then made her way to the building. Unfortunately, when she walked towards her vehicle, she found that someone had drove into her vehicle and drove off (ALL OF THIS HAPPENED IN THE VIEW OF BOTH THE CAMERA AS WELL AS THE EMPLOYEES!). She then proceeded to management as well as the employees who were allegedly witnessing all of this, and unfortunately, no one witnessed the incident. She then further prodded for the cameras to be reviewed and was given a lousy story about this whole incident!
Now you tell me, how can a customer be treated in such an UNFAIR and DISGUSTING MANNER! This is a paying client of Toyota and was treated like her business was worthless! If this matter is not resolved, this matter will be taken up with Dr Johan van Zyl! The town of Lephalale is infamous for placing service on the back burner, and the bus has to stop here! NONSENSE

On 2014/01/27 i took my Toyota for a service to Mosselbaai Toyota. The same day at about 16h00 they phone me and told me that I can come and pickup my bakie. As I received my bakkie at home I saw that my matts are not inside the bakkie and I phoned them immediately and told them about my mats so they told me to come and get it the next day and I live 43km from town. so I investigate a little bit further I open the
bonnet and were they took out the oil filter they spilled oil and left it just like that. I opened the air cleaner as well and they put the new
one over the durt they did not clean it out. I am not happy of the type of service that I received for the amount of money.
They cleaned the bakkie in the inside and outside but the most important part ( the engine ) was not clean oil and dirt.
I was thinking of buying a new fortuner but this type of service that I have received from Mosselbay Toyota it made me think twice. See the photos att
If you cannot give me I good explanation I will copy all Unitrans and shell managers ( National ) so that they can see wat type of service Toyota gives

I am in the process of looking for another Tacoma pick up to replace my current one which is being bought back by Toyota for frames problems. I'm looking to purchase a 4x2 version for the gas savings. Toyota lists the traction controlstabilityy control option on both its web site and in the dealer brochure in the area. However I'm being told by the dealers that the stability control option is not available on trucks in this region of the country.

WHY? We have lots of snow and a traction control system would certainly help with winter driving. Why isn't it part of the standard package anyway? I know I can opt for a 4x4 but would prefer not to spend the extra money in gas or entail costs.

I bought a new Toyota Corolla Advance 1.6 in September this year.

There was an attempt to steal the vehicle and I needed to have the locks and alarm fixed. I took the car to Toyota Sasolburg, they had the car a full day to assess the damages and identify the parts needed. My insurance gave them the go-ahead to fix the car. My car went in on Tue 9 Nov at 7:30 to be fixed. At 13:20 I was phoned to tell me they received the wrong parts from Toyota SA and cannot fix the car. The workshop manager Eddie gave me his word that the correct part has been requested again and that my car will be fixed by Fri 12 Nov.

On Thurs 11 Nov I was phoned to bring my car as the correct part has arrived. An hour later I was phoned to say that they can only install the part in two weeks as they were fully booked. I refused to accept this and contacted Customer complaints as Eddie promised that they will fix my car by Friday as it was not my mistake but Toyota's mistake. The owner of Toyota Sasol phoned me back and gave his word that the car will be fixed by Saturday 13 Nov. Two hours later Eddie phoned me again and claimed that there are no parts to fix my car available in South Africa. I requested to see all correspondence between Toyota SA and Toyota Sasolburg, however Eddie refuses to show me any correspondence which makes me extremely suspicious.

How is it possible that a South African company does not have any parts for a 2010 vehicle and have no means to obtain it within a short period of time. We are living in a modern world. I can get a package from overseas within a week, why can Toyota not do the same?
