This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I sold and account to ToonStorm.com 2 days ago. They made me give them all of the information for the account and complete control of the account before they would send payment. They even called me on the phone and asked me a bunch of personal questions to verify I was legit. Finally they sent the payment for the account via paypal, but when I woke up the next morning they had opened a dispute on the payment stating(and I quote)

Now they will not speak to me about getting control of my account back and any time I go onto their customer service they just refuse to respond! BEWARE OF TOONSTORM! YOU COULD LOSE EVERYTHING!

This company is an absolute fraud! I brought and sold an account to these guys before and both times got scammed! I spoke to this called who goes by the name 'Kenny' over the phone and he had a very weird accent that almost sounded like those guys from China. Some ### English and was asking for my full credit card number details as long as my social security number. He claims to be in the Customer Service Team, but shouldn't these phone calls be done by some kind of Security Team of some sort? He was talking to me nicely and was asking me some sensitive questions at the same time. That's not right, I have friends who deal with online security and they shouldn't be talking to you like we're buddy buddy on the phone for a verification! The first time I sold them the account that occurred and the second time when I purchase from them the same Kenny talk to me as well! After a week time, my account got banned and when I tried to contact them to my surprise Kenny was the one who picked me up on the live-chat! Not only could he not help me but he was very hostile to me on the live-chat I just went ahead and filed a dispute through Paypal! I demanded them to give me my account back and I will give them the money back as well. Kenny told me to come back later! Not helpful at all and they had so many uncertainties as well. I can't believe what a scam this is! Any of you who want to buy and sell, to not go to Toonstorm. Both Toonstorm and Accounts.net are run by the same China guys and they are fraud!

I tried to sell my account on toonstorm and it was the worse mistake ever, dont ever go on that site its 100% scam, they asked me all the infos of my account and my name everything even a photo of my ID and THEN they tell me my photo is blurry so I took like 10pic and they said they werent good so I told them that was bias and left, after that they changed my password and tried to STEAL my account, I had to get it back with my cd keys contacting blizzard with phone... dont ever go there.

I purchased an account in February 08. The purchase method on the website seems logical. You buy a character account from Toonstorm and pay an additional $40 for new codes. They will help you setup the new account in the original owners name (Blizzard requires this) - but with your secret word, address and email. They will help you get the character transferred from the original owner account to your new account.

The deal here is that although the new account is not in your name - it has your secret word and email from the get go. So if the original owner decides to call Blizzard and try to reset the password with their secret word - they get an account without the character on it.

When I purchased the account I was told they could not create a new account for me but would credit me the $40 while "still reserving the $10 security guarantee". I went for it. Bad move.

I can no longer access the account. I contacted Blizzard to inquire about my billing - they were very helpful and without any details told me the new billing matched the owner. They also told me the secret word I had did not match.

I contacted ToonStorm Live Help and was told to send an email. We'll see where that goes.

So just a word of advice for anyone considering an account purchase- make sure you get the new account.

I purchased a 1000+ USD account from these guys and they keep telling me to come back later; since they needed to contact the original owner. Every time I come back to them they keep asking me to come back in 24 hours time. Finally, due to the nature of the amount of money I'm paying I filed a dispute over through Paypal. I came to their live-chat and nobody could help me out. I finally get to speak to their so-called Security Team with a person who goes by the name Jack. Not only could he not answer my questions and his English is so terrible it made me had second thoughts on their location. Not being racist here, but he sounded like a China guy. The funny things is that Toonstorm claims to be located in the US, Texas Dallas and we get a guy who can't express himself properly in English. I am certain that Toonstorm.com is based in China and as all you know that most companies that are in this field of business are 85% scams. I can't get what I purchased and who have lost my money too if I didn't file a dispute through Paypal.

TOONSTORM.COM IS A SCAM AND I KNOW THAT THIS COMPANY IS RUN BY BROCK PIERCE AND ALAN DEBONNEVILLE WHO ARE INFAMOUS FOR THEIR SCAMS AND BAD BUSINESS CONDUCT.

You guys have been warned here, so don't fall for this trap like I did! I'm begging you guys!

Hey mate, you can get your account back as long as its registered to your name. Go to the warcraft.com / wow-europe.com and you need to submit a copy of your password / ID matching your account and you'll get it back 100%

They are a scamming company just like accounts.net probably the same company just different website design!
