I purchsed something from a website I thought I trusted. A couple of months ago. And just today 2/21/08 I saw a "pending" charge from Great fun. I called Great fun and asked them who they were affiliated with. Amazingly they were helpful and told me who it was. "AVON" They also said they would refund me .we'll see how that goes. I called Avon and they did tell me that there is a pop up for the discount program when you checkout.

They sort of acted like they knew about it but couldn't really do anything about it. I proceeded to tell him I didn't get a popup so I didn't sign up for anything. TLG is signing you up whether or not you get a pop up. I am going to wait until I am refunded and them I am going to close my account at my bank. It sucks that now people may have to call the company they wish to purchase an item from online to make sure they are not affiliated with these people.

We can't trust anything anymore. Companies and people and get your info just by you visiting a website. that's sad. I am also going to file a complaint with the BBB
