Tim started work for me on March 31, 2014. I had numerous projects for him to complete. Initially he did very good work but then asked for payment up front after the second month which I trusted did because I knew he had to pay his employees.
As time and projects went ahead all seemed well - then all of a sudden he didn't have his helper to drive him to my home 30 minutes away. Approximately early July I offered to pick him up so he could continue to work on his numerous started projects. I transported him to and from his home 7 times but the work was still not completed as promised. He did commit to arriving here many times and did not arrive for one excuse or another.
I gave him numerous items that I was going to donate to Salvation Army, a computer desk, file cabinet, office chair, building supplies I didn't need, fishing poles, etc. but he doesn't seem to remember how much I did for him.
He is not reliable and when confronted about changing a paint color didn't want to repaint what was not the color I chose - he used what he had available and charged me for the wrong color.
I called him to give list of things that need to be finished so that he could bring the tools as he had requested I do.. As I was giving him the list he was huffing and puffing showing great impatience with the list. He told me he would arrive about 2 pm on Wednesday and at 3 pm I tried to call him - he wouldn't answer my calls. I then texted him and he told me he wasn't going to come and complete the projects that he had already had been paid for. The texts went back and forth but when I tried to call to speak with him he wouldn't answer.
I am a senior citizen, not stupid but when it came to him, my sympathy gene kicked in and wanted to help him as much as I was financially able. He has taken advantage of me and I wanted to make you aware of this thief.
Fortunately I have found another handyman who is honest and upfront, only wants to be paid when he completes his job.

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have been scammed by this same person. He has taken $420 from me and my husband for materials to do our bathroom and never did one single thing. We got one excuse after the other of why he couldn't come on a certain day. He finally agreed to pay us back our money but we have yet to see a dime. At least you did get some work out of him, we got zip. Not only that, but when I finally did my due diligence and researched this guy, I find that he is a registered sex offender. Ugh, so disgusted and exasperated right now. I will have to take him to court.
He ripped me off as well. Seems to take advantage of senior citizens by becoming their friend. Asked me for a loan a few times and said he would pay be back. When I told him I wasn't able to give him a loan as I live on a fixed income he quit work after being paid, with many promises to come and finish the work he was already paid for. He is also a RSO from Ocala Florida. I didn't know this until after he left. Scary person who threatens people who he doesn't like. I heard him threaten two people he would burn down their houses !
