Somebody posing as me is sending out mass e-mails on HotMail.
The "from" line reads: tom stienstra [thstienstra@hotmailcom].

Acutally, I do not even have a HotMail account.

I am a columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle, radio shot host on CBS/Radio, have a television show on CBS/CW, and have written 20 books, including 15 active titles.

These false is e-mails put me in a bad public light and could affect my book sales and good standing with CBS. I have already reported this to the Chronicle.

I have a copy of today's false e-mail, which includes profanity and derogatory comments, allegedly from myself, if you would like to review it.
