It seems the reputation of this company is well deserved. Illegal merchandise, theft of money without delivery of merchandise, customer service department that ignores customers, charging credit cards fraudulently. From what I've read, the list goes on. A real crooked company.

My own experience is along the lines of the basic, and illegal, charging of credit cards without having any intention of shipping the merchandies. NO business is legally allowed to charge a credit card until the order is shipped to the customer. This seems to be a common practice for Thisisanime.com. We have been waiting five months now for our order, which we originally told was in stock, and were billed at the time of ordering. In the beginning, we were told it suddenly went on back order and now this company is ignoring us altogether. Stole our money, never produced the ordered merchandise.

We are chasing this up, after a final warning email to resolve, with the better business bureu. If that does not work, I will likely look in to a small claims court action. Learn from other peoples experiences, do NOT do business with these crooks - they are nothing but charlatans and thieves.
