On November 13,2007 I ordered a 'WKRP in Cincinnati' 4 disc set (SKU112013) at a cost of 52.99, USD. My credit card was billed for this amount by Universal Gift Ventures, Mississauga, ON November 16, 2007. I received a notification via e-mail on November 20 that my order, 638538, had been shipped, tracking # CE512799944CA, with an anticipated delivery date of November 27-30. This tracking number was invalid with both Canada Post and USPS.

The order did not arrive.

On November 30, an e-mail was received from support@dvdplanet.org thanking me for my patience. It stated my order had been shipped to the wrong address, and was being reshipped. No tracking numbers were given. The post said their shipping system was down, and all orders were being shipped manually. Expected arrival was given for December 6-8. I sent an e-mail to support@dvdplanet.org asking what address the order was shipped to, and said that a correct address had been given when the order was placed. I received no reply.

On December 13, I contacted DVDPlanet.org with my concerns, and received the following e-mail:

Hello,
Your replacement order has been shipped out already. It was due Dec 6-8th, but with the busy Christmas season, a small delay can be expected.Your order should be there within a matter of a few business days.

Regards,
Brian Lawson
Management

Today is Monday, December 17, 2007. I have yet to receive the order which my card was billed for on November 16.

In light of this, and the numerous reports from other consumers which are virtually identical to mine, there is no choice but to believe the worst. I have contacted DVDPlanet.org and requested a full refund be credited to my card by close of business (3 pm CST) Friday, December 21, 2007.

I ordered a boxed set Nov 28,2007. I received an E-MAIL ,Dec 15,stating a delay in their last two shipments due to new shipping policies. My order was to be reshipped via Expresspost with guaranteeded delivery of Dec 24 at the latest. My cewdit card was billed but I have yet to receive my box set as of Jan 2,2008.Also no more E-mails have been sent from DVDPlanet

I have experienced the identical situation. My order was placed December 16th with a promise of delivery by Christmas. I received the identical email from them. Never received the reshipment of the order. Now they have informed me that I should see a refund in 4 to 6 business days. Not feeling very confident that this will actually happen. I am afraid we have been scammed.

The same thing happened to me. I called my credit card company (AMEX) to file a dispute, and they removed the charge. They also recommended I close the credit card account and create a new one because this company now had my credit card information. I agreed and did just that.
