I too just experienced their VERY deceptive sales practice. I ordered a DSLR camera "package"...Executive Package to be precise. When I called to verify the order I was informed that the package does not include the battery or charger, and that these were roughly an additional $300 (the scammer/sales rep was very quick and quiet when he said the pricing, and I made him repeat it twice). He then tried to upsale me on another package, and stated no other company sold the battery and charger in the kit/package. I quick internet search to any known camera shop shows all do include the battery and charger with the camera kit/packages. Feeling I was trying to be hoodwinked with a nice bait-n-switch technique, I immediately cancelled the order. I have followed up with a written email confirming the order cancellation, and have notified my credit card company to not process any purchases from TheCameraProfessionals.com ... The Camera Professionals.

After reading all the other complaints, and most all are similar in nature, I am convinced my order cancellation was the best move I could have made. Obviously I do NOT recommend working with TheCameraProfessionals.com .

There seems to be a lot of this marking up from a low listed price from camera stores (particularly in NY city). I had similar case with CameraAddict when I tried to tried to buy a Sony KDL 40V3000 HD-LCD TV. They tried to add-on $150 for pedestal stand under the TV, the remote, and HDMI cable that normally comes in the Sony box. All 3 items can be bought from Radio Shack for $50-$60 total.

I just had the same experience with TheCameraProfessionals.com this afternoon. I ordered a Kodak M853 online with them last night. I called this afternoon to confirm my order and I spoke with some guy named David. He told me the battery and charger don't come with the camera. I reluctantly told him to go ahead and give me both for an additional $40.

Since I've bought digital cameras in the past, I know for a fact that they all come with batteries. So, I did some quick checking online to verify my suspicions. I called the company back and spoke with David again. We debated the issue of the battery and I told him that their website DOES NOT mention the fact that the battery is an optional purchase. He was such an a** about the situation. He told me he didn't care if I bought anything from them or not. I told him to cancel my order. He did, then he hung up on me. WTF???

I would like to know the address of this company. I had a negative experience buying a navigation device. It came loose in a box without any packing around it to keep it from being damaged in shipping. Then they pegged me for another payment for an updated map. I didn't think to say "why didn't you tell me this before the purchase?". Also the Garmin product did not register on the website. These people don't seem very concerned about their customers... Please, anyone forward address information.

Well this is about the digital cameras made by the Kodak sold by Croma (reputaed tata owned shop) .This summer vacation end of april we purchased a camera KODAK EASYSHARE m853 (the deadly camera) from

croma CBD next day we went on our holiday in a remote place . we are very much interested to keep the travel memories of each trip in video or sill pictures. We started using the camera the battery discharged after aprox 10 20 snaps

The battery is inbuilt and we put the camera for chagrining by connecting the caharger provided by the Kodak and kept in a table little later My mobile started ringing and I went running, the camera was above My mobile headphones wire just I took the camera to keep away and got a heavy electric shock. Even after a month my hand is not fully recovered from the freezing effect. I am lucky there was so many children at home none off them went on curiosity and touched the deadly camera, thanks to the god

This spoiled the our holiday when we returned from the tour I took this the deadly camera to croma and explained the problem the manager refused to give replacement and kept the same for repairing the camera is defective manufacturing itself and I believe that the customer should get a replacement not repaired piece
So advice the people who ever is reading this please don’t buy the rubbish the deadly products made by Kodak and marketed By Croma

FOR THIDS CAMERA i PAID RS 9300/-
FUTURE BAZZAR SELLS AT 11000/-

AND AVILABLE AT jj MEHTHA AT 8300/-
