I ordered a booklet that was free except for S&H charges which was OK. The information was useless but I asked for that book. Then I got charged $89.95 for what I was told was a "magazine subscription" that I never asked for or new about. When I called the company I was told that I agreed to it as part of the deal. I never agreed to anything and who would agree to pay $89.95 for a magazine. I was told that they could only "OFFER" me a credit of $44.50 and I still get the magazine.

This website says for&1.95s&h you will recieve a book full of ways to save money. Well, it's not worth that much! And, if you do not look carefully they will charge your card $89.95 if you do not call them in so many days to cancel. This should be on the first page to see before you enter card info.If you do not call, you will not get money back! The company says all sales are final, because I tried to let them know I wasn't aware of other charges.

I ordered a pamplet on t.v. for $2.98 for the green millionaire. They are seen on CNN, NBC, and other famous channels. I gave them my check card # ( BIG MISTAKE) and now they have taken out of my bank $29.95 without my permission, and now I hear they will continue to take this amount out every 2 months. Also they NEVER told me, they will e-mail me a book that cost $1.98 every week or month.
If they are an upright Company they would admit their mistake and refund my money back into my account.I WANT my money back, that they stole from me.They are ripping people off with their scam.

I signed up for the "FREE" book The Green Millionaire " A Practicle Guide To Achieving Real Wealth While Helping To Save The Planet". Well, it's easy to see who is making the "real" wealth and it's NOT me! I ended up getting charged $1.99 for shipping & handling so, I submitted my card info. The next thing I know, I got charged $89.95 for an e-magazine that I knew nothing about. I guess you need to read EVERYTHING that comes with the book! If you don't call within 14 days to not suscribe to their online newsletter, you get charged $89.95 per year for it and it's non-refundable. After being unemployed for months, I really couldn't afford this.
This makes me really wonder about trying to save the planet. I WILL use a lot more caution in the future!

If u want your money back, cancel your card(lost or stolen) if they already charged you, call them n tell them your filing a class action lawsuit, filing complaints to the B.B.B., the FTC, and the Attorney General. I did this and got my money back. I still did files numerous complaints to the above because they are ripping so many people off. Beware of free trials. DON'T give out your bank card #.This is a big scam! Green Millionaire # is [protected]

I am on Social Security disability. I was interested in saving what little I currently receive by purchasing this book offer. I am usually smarter than this. But the world is searching for a cleaner and better way these debt ridden days. This is the lowest that anyone can do to the public. Using Benevolent source to be manevolent to the people.

The Green Millionaire free book scam

I ordered the free book (supposedly)after watching the commercial. I thought i was only paying the dollar something for shipping. but some how they manage to sell you some magazine subscriptions that you don't click on or agree to. i had a charge of 89.95 show up on my debit card, i called the [protected] customer service and the best they can do is refund half your money because the two week free trial expired only because the charge doesn't show up until the (free trial) is expired. what a scam if they told you, you were buying mag subscriptions nobody would give them a dime so they have to scam people out of their hard earned money. DO NOT DEAL WITH GREEN MILLIONAIRE ITS A SCAM!

They advertised for free Green Millionaire book on tv, I fell for that and they started charging $29.95 every month to my credit card. When I called them they said that i subscribed for it. They are cheat. Never give your card number to these green millionaire cheaters. When i called and told them that what good you are doing to me. They said that they are emailing me material. I didnt get any such thing. Even if I get it who cares. They charge your credit card and they dont call you or send you statements so that they can keep doing it for years or months untill som, eone catches them. So dont fall for this " GREEN MILLIONAIRE FREE BOOK SCAM". They are just minting hard earned money of people in exchange of nothing. They are making Green for themselves for sure.

I saw an infomercial for a free book called The Green Millionaire promising to tell me how to save money and get money free from the government and all I would pay would be a dollar for shipping and handling. I received the book in the mail, but then I get a unauthorized charge to my account for 89.00 from them charging my account for a emagazine subscription that I never authorized about 14 days later, nor did I ever receive the emails so I could cancel it. When I called to cancel and tell them I never authorized this nor did I ever receive the product so I want a full refund of the money, they said that they have been sending me the emails (which is a lie) and that I could only get a partial refund. This is how this guy is becoming a millionaire. He's scamming people and keeping their money. Little does this fraudulent company know but I'm getting my full refund. I'm cancelling my card and filing for fraud with them. They are not going to keep my money. I'm currently unemployed and just had a baby and have no excess money to throw around on an invisible emagazine subscription that I will never see. Don't purchase anything from this company. They are all frauds!

The Green Millionaire Unauthorized Visa charge

On 24 July 2010, I ordered the Green Millionaire guide for $1.95. I called back on 3 August 2010 and cancelled the program, but on 11 August 2010, I noticed that I was still getting emails from them. There is no unsubscribe link in their emails, instead you have to call their [protected] number, get a RUDE customer (dis)service rep who thinks she can talk to you however she wishes and that you won't say anything back. Later that day, I found a charge from them for $89.95 on my Visa card. An unauthorized charge since I had called on 3 August to cancel. I called them again, got a different rep who tried to tell me that I hadn't called and that their system logged each call that was made to them. If so, they need to fix their system. What I suspect is true is that he was just trying to bluff his way through, but it didn't work. At first, he said that he couldn't refund the money. As I escalated it, he offered to refund half. I stuck to my position and he finally agreed to refund the full amount, but it will take 7-14 business days for them to undo what they did in seconds with their unauthorized charge. Since I'm a disabled veteran and can't work, I'm currently living on $376 a month - my VA disability, which I'm in the process of trying to get rerated to a higher percentage. So, they get to keep my money for a week or two, and I can't buy groceries because I'm now $47.87 negative in my account due to their charge. Nice. I hope Nigel J Williams, the "Green Millionaire" behind this scam enjoys whatever it is he'll buy with his ill-gotten gains. Also, if you go through their guide, or read their emails, you'll find that there is absolutely NOTHING novel in them anywhere. NOTHING. Every bit of information in their guide and emails can be found online, in a library, or for that matter you're inundated with it every day in the form of spam email and snail junk mail. All it is is a rambling guide to things you'd expect a decently educated middle schooler to know. In reality, THIS is likely how Nigel J Williams made his millions - it's a SCAM. Make no mistake about it.
