Fraudulent advertising!

Company information:

I ordered a JVC GZ-HD7 camcorder from this company. On the day of order I asked if it was in stock and when it would ship. I was told it was in stock - as advertised - and it would ship with 5-7 business days. I paid via credit card and was then sent an email that I had to answer to confirm the purchase. I was placed on hold for 7 minutes only to confirm I was who I said I was and to authorize the purchase. I again asked when the camera would ship and this time was told I would have it within 7-10 business days.

On day 14 without the camera I called the company back. After being on hold for 9 minutes I was told the camera was on back order and that they were getting a shipment in that week. This was a Monday, I called back on Friday and after a timely hold of only 4 minutes I was told it was back ordered again but a shipment was coming in on April 11 2008, a full 5 weeks after my initial order, but the difference this time is that I was on the list to actually get a camera. Cameras the web site advertises as in stock everyday since I ordered it.

On April 14 2008 Monday, I called back and was on hold an unbelievable 34 minutes to be told that The Camera Professionals were actually getting an order of these cameras this week. I canceled the order and requested I speak to someone in management. I was told a call would be coming within the hour - that was 3 hours ago.

This company has - and still does - advertise this product as "In Stock" which it is not. I give The Camera Professionals 2 thumbs down and strongly advise everyone to get names and record dates when dealing with these fraudulent people.
