False advertising!

Company information:
The Camera Professionals

United States

This company is a total scam. They advertise items they do not have at extremely low prices. They then try to "bait and switch". I called their toll free number and was advised that they had a Garmin 660 navigation system in stock for $274. I placed the order. Five days later I called again and asked if the item was in stock and was told that it was. I then asked for my tracking number and was told that the item was sold out and would not be available for another month. I then received an email from them to call one of their salesmen who tried a bait and switch. I canceled the order and reordered from Amazon. Beware of this company!!

BEWARE "The Camera Professionals"!

They are neither professional or trustworthy. Companies like this need to be shut down!

I ordered a Garmin Nuvi 660 from the Camera Professionals. I received an email stating that I needed to call them to confirm my address and my credit card number. Upon calling, I was bounced to no less than three people before I got someone to review my order. He confirmed my shipping address and my credit card number and then proceeded to ask me if I wanted the Garmin Maps software with my unit for an additional cost. I informed the Sales rep that the GPS unit already comes with NAVTEQ software installed and that I didn't need anything else. According to the sales rep that wasn't the case and that the only thing I would be getting is the unit itself. I would also have to pay extra for the charger, window mount and usb cable. Please keep in mind that all of this comes in a box from Garmin. I immediately canceled my order and purchased the unit from Amazon.com for $334.99 plus two day shipping.

What a bunch of HACKS these guys are!!!
