I lost my job and couldn't pay for my service which was behind, on Nov 30, 2007 I contacted Dish and talked to cust svc, $26.00 was taken from my bank account for the 2 months left on my contract and the rep told me no more money would be taken out and he would send me boxes ups so I could return the equipment, he said it would take appx 1 week to get the boxes. December 1st 2007 $500.00 was taken from my bank account automatically for equipment fees without my knowledge which made me in the negative of $500 in the bank. I again contacted cust svc and was told "sorry when we get the equipment back you can have the money back. " How can I get it back to Dishnetwork if the boxes haven't even arrived yet??? Dishnetwork has no drop off locations and you can only send equipment back via ups??? They said I signed a contract and a copy of the agreements are on their website, I looked and found nowhere did it say they could do that. So now, I will be in the negative for about a week before they see fit to return it, meanwhile I have to pay all kinds of overdraw fees!!! They are horrible people.
