Terrible, awful company, avoid www.e-florist-inc.com at all costs!
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 9 votes
E-florist and deceptive business practices. A birthday teacup and saucer bought online from www.e-florist-com turned out to be mistake on my part. I picked this one out of the phone book, sort a speak. The price was/is 39.99 i ended up paying 60.00 for an "upgrade". The bouquet was delivered on time. The bouquet looked nothing like what i ordered. I would have done much better picking daisies beside the railroad tracks.

I call to complain. They did answer and referred me to their terms and conditions. Which really is a waiver for them to send you anything they damn well please. They sent me a 5.00 bouquet for 60.00.

On their site it says: excellence in customer service. "Satisfaction guaranteed" this was not the case. They requested that i send digital photo of the bouquet that was sent and i called them back. They basically referred me back to terms and conditions.

Terrible awful company avoid www.e-florist-inc.com at all costs!

I agree! I ordered a birthday arrangement from e-Florist-Inc.com for my aunt on line. It never arrived. I have not been charged so far but she thinks I forgot her birthday! Many calls to the customer service number are just waiting times on the line on hold. I wish I had seen this post before I ordered.

I also wish I knew about their scam because thats what they are. I ordered an arrangement for a birthday early in the morning and by 3:00 pm they had not delivered. I called them and after being put on hold for at least 15 minutes a couple of times they finally answered. They told me they could not deliver that day and it would probably be the next day. I told them forget it and just credit my account and they said they would but that there would be a 15.00 cancellation fee and I replied what about your satisfaction guaranteed policy and it didn't seem to matter. I have not received my credit and will pursue this further with my bank. Terrible company. Hope somebody does something about them.

I agree completely. This company is hoax. They never provide anything like customer service!! I had ordered a gift box and a flower bouquet for my wife on our anniversary, but it never arrived. Also they have overcharged my credit card with $16 than the price mentioned in my invoice on their website. When I called up their customer service # no one is available to pickup or attend the call. It gets fwdd to IVR system keeping us on hold and some FM radio channel keeps playing for ever then.

This is the worst and pathetic life time experience I had. Do not ever shop with E-florist Inc and don't refer this to anyone.

I am outraged that I was overcharged for a birthday teacup by $14.00 + the International fee that was never included in the receipt. I have called the customer service number and that number does not pertain to the eflorist company. Luckily, my bank has refunded my money. I did save the online receipt and that is why my bank cooperated with me. They are a misleading business!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! THEY ARE LIARS!!!

Wow! My experience with this company has been totally different. I have used this online service 3 times and they have delivered all my products on time. The quality of flowers have been fresh and appreciated by my family. I noticed the difference in the USD price which gets converted into CND dollars, I was refunded the difference the same day with no further issues. E florist inc offers a good, straight forward prompt service and the website is simple to order from. I'll continue ordering from them.

I should know to check these sites before dealing with these companies so my own stupidity cost me $15. but it sounds like I got off easy.
I called e florist yesterday to have flowers delivered. At the time they asked if they could make substitutions and I said no. I had ordered " a pot of sunflowers" exactly what are you going to substitute? Sunflowers are sunflowers. Well, she said sometimes they're not in stock. If that's the case, they shouldn't be on the site in my opinion, however, alas they couldn't deliver because they didn't have them(BIG SURPRISE).
I called last night at 5 minutes to 5:00(they close @ 5:00) and was on hold until 5:10 at which time they changed the recording to say they were closed(very professional).
They called this morning and said they could order sunflowers, however it could be a couple of days!! If I cancelled the order it would cost $15. so I said OK. I then got on the internet and looked at reports of e florist and called them back to cancel my order. I see on their website that a $15. charge MAY be applied. I'm guessing it always is. I will now call a local florist and will NEVER again deal with any of these "fly by night" outfits.
I'm sure this will probably not be the end of this saga. I'm guessing my Visa will be wrong. I'll post again if it is.
LIVE AND LEARN at least this lesson only cost $15. I hate to think what the bouquet would have looked like!!!!!!!

They overcharged me $10 and told me that it was in the terms and conditions that they could do that. I have a receipt that shows a Grand Total for the amount I thought, yet they still hold the right to add fees???

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE. I ordered two bouquets and they were never delivered. I was charged for this and I can't contact the company. Nobody answers phone calls. They did not sent me back email as well. AVOID THIS COMPANY

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!
They are misleading with their charges and did not send a confirmation notice that the flowers were delivered. What am I suppose to do. Call the people I sent it to and say "hey did you get my flowers?" Thats embarrassing. I should know if they did or didn't from the company I ordered from.
This is a Canadian company and if you are in the U.S. beware...My credit card statement was $10 more than the original price of the delivery and my credit company is charging me a $2 international fee. When I question customer service that they do not disclose this they tell me that their location is listed on the "about us" section. Well, that doesnt tell me that your going to charge me more later since your site also says prices are in U.S. dollars. They said they will refund me the difference but they need my confirmation number because, oh low and behold, they cant find me on their system by name, date of order, phone number or email address. I never received a confirmation number just a thank you email that when you click on the link provided, it comes up "unknown website" I'm apparently going to have to eat these charges and as others said, "live and learn"

Placed an order in the morning on the 2nd for a funeral in the afternoon the next day. They called me 4hrs before the funeral to say they don't a "contact" close enough to deliver.. I asked for a refund, she said it'll be at least 3-5 bus days. She was very short and kind of "in a hurry" we'll see if I get that refund.

Horrible service!
They quote prices in US funds, send you a receipt that says you'll be charged X amount, then you get a bill for $10 more. They say it has something to do with Canadian currency conversion. If that is the case, then quote your prices in Canadian funds. I've never gotten a receipt for one amount then been charged more. They did refund half of the extra amount though.
HOWEVER, I ordered the $10 "upgrade" on a dozen roses, which promised more flowers for $10 more. Guess how many arrived? That's right, a dozen. My repeated inquiries into what my extra money bought went unanswered.
Also, I had ordered flowers for Valentine's Day. The flowers arrived, but 3 days TOO EARLY! Made me look like kind of a fool. They promised replacement flowers ON Valentine's Day, but never delivered, and never responded to repeated inquiries as to where the replacements were.
Customer service ignored repeated emails and a letter writing campaign to the owners of the company went unanswered. Obviously they do not care about repeat business.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

These people are the worst! Dealing with e-florist-inc has been a very distasteful experience. They say they deliver the same day if the order is placed before noon local time. I ordered a bouquet for a special, time-sensitive occasion for my daughter at 07:15 am local time. It was not delivered that day.

On day 2 I call to inquire what happened. They say they do not guarantee delivery date. They promise to deliver on day 2. Late on day 2, still no delivery. I call to cancel the order. I am placed on hold for 38 minutes, before they disconnect my call. I persist calling back though they often do not answer. Finally, I reach a CSR who confirms that they will cancel the order and refund my VISA. They did not. But they finally delivered the flowers ... without the bear for which they charged extra and they overcharged my VISA.

I only wish I had thought to check this site before ordering from e-florist-inc. Who would have thought it would take over 6 phone calls, a call to my credit card company, and 4 emails just to do something nice for my daughter!

I wish I could see a sign "AVOID!" before I placed an order with them. but of course you never start looking for user reviews before you are scammed by a company. So it also happened to me.
The most fascinating thing about all this is that, there's no consistency if what they are saying and doing:
Fist of all there's a page on their site where it say "prices in USD", then they charge for "currency conversion". Then they refund you minus $13.94 (?) which also doesn't fit into $15 cancellation fee. So between 13.94 and 3.45 for currency conversion that was billed to me separately I'm in the hole $17.44.
So they just make up things as they go... and nobody can punish them... what a shame.
!!! MY ADVISE: RATE THEM on McAfee Site Advisor. The more ratings they get the most influence it will make and perhaps soon they'll have a "red cross" next to their website from McAfee and other users will see what those guys are all about.

We have ordered some flowers and they were no where close to what we ordered. They were actually a plant from the grocer about 14.95. Out flowers that were ordered were yellow roses and pink roses african violet and two plants. on a basket.
They then came an picked this up and sent us 5 by 7 backet with flowers in it. they have still not deilvered what or came close to what we ordered. I wish that we would of found this sight sooner. Can we report them to BBB.
