Absoulutely do I agree. When you go to order they take your credit card information, there is no back button or way to cancel the order. I have now been charged 22.97 and 38.95, all I wanted was one wallet. You cannot get through on their phone lines. My credit card company has now had to help me to get this return going. ugh... It is still not resolved, I have to wait to receive the other 4 unwanted cheap wallets, and send them back. Hopefully I will get my refund. This wallet is something that you would buy at the dollar store, and I imagine that is will they will be selling them eventually.

Hello my name is Jen,
I also bought into this scam, I ordered the wallet believing i was getting 2 wallets for the price of one, while attempting to place order, right before confirmation of order it disappeared from the screen, that was right after my credit card inforamation was taken, i was pissed, so i also tried to order from their phone lines the automated system kept going around in circles, so i waited to verify my order throught their 48 hour confirmation channels, the order did not exist, this was back in Novemeber 2010, i received 2 cards, 2 different order numbers for delivery in February 2, 2011, i had the option to cancel so i did because i thought this was unusual after not recieving any confirmation numbers, on March 9, 2011 money was taken out of my account for the 2 orders $43.96 & 23.98 they shipped the wallets, i promptly returned them to
date they refunded me 10.00, for an order that was cancelled in plenty of time i just called them today they affirm that they have not received the 2nd return, my beef is i cancelled in plenty of time on their
stationary(post card) with address printed on the front from them therefore order cancelled, there should be a full refund of all monies taken out of account, these wallets are not worth the money, you can do better
with aluminum foil to protect your credit cards, im not kidding i notified their customer service of an inpending ivestigation and law suit if my account is not credited the full amount.

Product is JUNK.
Sides (BOTH) fell off in first 5 minutes. Sides are held to cheap plastic core with double stick tape.
Worthless to attempt to return because company won't reimburse for shipping, which is 2x the value of the wallet.

Beware of any website that requires your credit card info prior to allowing you access to the site. I ordered the tv special for one wallet at 10.99, get one free. I accepted the offer to upgrade the wallets for 4.95 each in order to get free shipping. I was expecting to then go to a page that summarized the transaction. Instead, the next page was the confirmation page that showed I was being charged for both wallets ($21.98), a whole bunch for shipping and handling and tax. The total amount was more than $47! I tried to call, but the telephone site was completely automated. I tried to email but that did not work either. I really think that this website is a deliberate scam. I have not yet recieved the wallets, but based on the fraudulent website I don't expect to get a quality product if it comes. Someone needs to report this to the authorities.

I was ordering one online and after going through the voice automated system, they asked if I wanted a 2nd one. The ad clearly said the 2nd was FREE and so, did they mean a 2nd set or were they going to charge me for a 2nd and GIVE me 4? Unable to get a human, I hung up, thus canceling my order. Guess what? They sent me two boxes and charged my Credit card almost $50.00. I am going to dispute the charge and Return the items. Return to Sender. I did not open the item. It was their mistake, not mine and I will not pay a penny to a company that is clearly out to scam people!

yes, the same thing happened to me. I thought I was taking advantage of the offer to get one wallet plus the additional free one but that was not the case. I placed an order and before I could get to the screen where you visibly see what you are paying for the screen goes blank, then a confirmation page pops up with no price and no total so when you attempt to move to the next screen a total is there that is not remotley close to the price that it states it is; hince the $10.99. I finally got the wallets in the mail and instead of the two I thought I was getting, there are 4 wallets in the box! And to make it all worse you cant even fit everything the infomercial tries to say you can in there. The seperations are paper thin and I had to leave some cards out for it to close. NOT SATISFIED!

I got one of these in red at the hess gas station convenience store in Linden, NJ. it came in one of those hard plastic covers. its good enough for me. $10 no shipping cost. I fit all my cards including my drivers license fit perfectly. its very convenient for when I have to access my id cards quickly. I still keep another wallet with me for my papers and money. I think maybe you can also fit two bills in there too for emergency.

Telebrands Aluma Wallet overcharged me

I thought I ordered 2 Aluma Wallets and was charged for 4. I tried to log out of the site and ordered again, so now I don't know how many I'm getting or how many I'll be charged for.

I feel this is a total scam and should be taken off TV and the internet.

I wish I would have read the other complaints before I tried to order on line.

When I tried to back out of the web site, it wouldn't let me do that.

Please take this off the market! Unhappy in Iowa.

Telebrands no customer service

Chef Basket, doubled order (buy one get one) plus knife ...free shipping for the first basket with $6.99 processing fee for both the second basket and the knife. During order it asks for upgrade to better quality stainless steel for about $5... that's fine with me, click yes ... it added the UPGRADE PLUS THE ORIGINAL ORDER for double order, plus processing fees on top of it all. I do not need nor want 4 chef baskets! Call customer service... order did not go thru yet, they tell me to call back the next day. Next day, order still not gone thru. Three days later, customer service is down for maintenance ("sorry for inconvenience"). Call back later and the office is closed ..."call back monday." Try to fix it on line...NO customer service email. Change the order..."0" number of products ordered and it still asks for the credit number. Punch "0" operator and the voice says "sorry, I do not understand that command."

Telebrands Order pricing scam

Telebrand uses extremely poor business tactics. I started ordering Robostir @ $10.00 agreed to a $9.95 upgrade and then my order totaled $66.95. You find this out after they have your card information. You can not cancel or adjust the order - you are stuck. Then you realize this company is doing all this online and canoot contact them online, they are hiding from you. Order at your own risk and expect the charges to be a lot higher than you want them to be.

Stay away from robostir. They are dishonest and fraudulent. I was researching info and never clicked the final order screen. They charged me almost $50.00 and I DIDN'T ORDER anything. I did get Mastercard to refund the charges but we all need to call the credit card companies and tell them to NOT DO BUSINESS with Robostir. It would also help for everyone to write to the Dr. Oz show as he was hawking it on the show. Let's put this company out of business. And for pete's sake, if you are thinking of ordering one of these, DO NOT. The bad reviews are real. The good ones are probably from an employee. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it probably is a duck. This is one really BAD company.

If you go to the robostir website you can click on contact us at the bottom. There is a phone number you can call for customer service. I had to call twice to get my complete refund, but they were very friendly and admitted their error. Even with the admission of error, I will steer clear of any of these scams from now on. If you want something that you see on TV wait a couple of months and you can buy it at WalMart, CVS, Walgreens, etc.

If it's any help, here's what we did after ordering online and being taken for a ride. We called Telebrands right away. They played the usual game of saying the order doesn't show up on their screen yet. We told them that our credit card payment would be blocked, and that we were reporting them for fraud. They insisted they couldn't see the order yet (we gave them the order #), however after a week, it has not yet showed up on our credit card. We reported the fraudulent charge right away to our credit card company. Hopefully this will help someone.

Same here, the finall invoice looks like I ordered 4 robostirs. The add states to just pay for S&H and the final invoice contains a processing fee of $13.98, there should be something legally wrong about this tactics, consumers should be able to see the final price then be able to cancle the order.

We just got scammed too. We tried to order 2 deluxe models and the "thank you for your order" screen showed they were billing us for $111 and it showed we were ordering 6 of them total. This is definitely fraudulent. I will never order from Telebrands again, and thank you for this site.

I posted previously of my problem but have now gotten it resolved. If it is any help, I kept calling the number to check on shipping 3x per day instead of their recommended every day or 2 until I got a message that indicated my order was now in their system. I then immediately called customer service and they were able to find my order, cancelled it and gave me a confirmation number. My issue is now resolved without the darn thing being shipped and then me getting stuck with s&H charges. I am glad this mess is over and will not go back to Telebrands again. I hope this helps someone else to resolve their issues with Robostir and Telebrands.

BTW, I found what looks like a far better stirrer. It cab be seen at http://www.ardentegourmetstirrer.com/

If you click on How to Buy, it takes you to the page where there is a nice video.

BEWARE ! Deal with these people at your own risk...

Because you can't get any information, while placing an order, my wife called the customer service number, to confirm that the total was the same as it's offered on their tv ad. After about 15 min. of dancing around, and side steping the questions, the customer service rep was talking about the deluxe RoboStir, and shipping cost that make this purchase cost abot 4 times as much as they advertise. This basically seems to be a bait and switch, combined with out and out fraud. I've got to believe that this company will soon be on the news, for the way they do business.

Too bad. I was looking forward to getting one of these little gadgets.

I wish I had seen this before I ordered on 1-22-11 as the exact same thing happened to me with a final bill of $147.88 which included a mysterious and unauthorized additional charge of $27.96.

This appears to be a very serious scam going on here. I called [protected] three times and could never get anyone to confirm my order would be cancelled. They said it was not in their system yet so I must call back in 24-48 hours. You know what is going to happen and that is sometime in wait periods, the order will get processed and then their refund policy states the S&H become non refundable and believe me those are substantial charges., even if they ever refund the other charges. I agree you should beware of this place.

Telebrands Chef Basket

As per a television commercial which was advertising a 'Chef's Basket' or a collapsible insert steamer which was priced at $14.99 ea. with free shipping, the telephone ordering system for Telebrands kept me on the phone for 25 minutes, spouting off all of the other things that they sell. All was recorded messages; there wasn't a human to speak to, and after offering many other items, the answer was either 1 for yes or 2 for no. There was no confirmation number, and the only way to find out the total amount was to go online at www.getorderstatus.com within 24 to 48 hours. I called their customer support number and they had no record of my order, other than telling me that it did take 24 to 48 hours, and finally today I had to call customer service again, as I have each day for the last 5 days, as nothing showed up on their website. By that time, I had quite enough, and I spoke to a woman and told her to cancel my order, which should have only been $14.99. Magically - she produced my order after telling me that it would take maybe another day or two for them to have my order on their computers. Upon my inquiry as to what the actual charge was I was told that it was over $64! I insisted on cancelling my order and purging their records of my personal information immediately. In essence, I ordered 1 Chef Basket @14.99 with free shipping, and said no to all of the other items they were trying to sell, and my order was over $64.OO? Buyer beware, their items are always on the television and must be in the top of the ladder for scammers. I will be following through with checking my charge account, bank account, and any other ways that they could get to my personal finances. After this complaint, I will be reporting the same on the Better Business Bureau, [redacted].com, and any other consumer agency that I can access. If one looks at Telebrand complaints, you will find that their way of doing business is always the same.

You've been warned...Don't go there unless you want to get fleeced!

I had the exact same situation upon ordering the ankle genie. The item was $10.99 each and $6.99 S&H. Plus you could order a second on by just paying another shipping fee. Thus, my order should of been $10.99 + $6.99 + $6.99 plus tax. But the very next day my credit card was charged $56.12 ? I immediately called and got the same response, my order was not in their computer yet, to call back in 48 hrs. I called back and They still had trouble finding my order, but they did and I cancelled the order. Then I noticed the charge was removed from my credit card so I thought everything was finished. Well 14 days later, I received the item and refused delivery, return to sender. That was two weeks ago and I have calling very day to confirm they received it back! We'll now they keep telling me they never got it! Then today, I called their number [protected] and it kept routing me in circles, could no longer get a person! What now, any suggestions?

I watched the tv commercial advertising books for a natural way to deter unwanted bugs and pests. When I called the 1-800 number shown on tv to place my order, I too was subjected to countless other oppertunities to purchase unwanted items. When I finally got to speak with a human, I asked him to repeat my order, provide me with the total dollar amount my credit card would be charged and the confirmation number for this order. The guy I spoke with "Brian" immediately got short with me, talked over me, didn't provide me with this information and transfered me to ?, I couldn't understand what he said. Next thing I knew, I was speaking with a cruise company person. When I asked to be transferred back to telebrands to get info about my original order, she got angry and started talking over me. I hung up. I looked the company up on the web and called this number, [protected], which told me to call [protected]. I too was told by "Gilbert" they couldn't find my order and it would take 48 hours to get in their system. I was told reps always provide customers with the dollar amount of their order, repeat the order to the customer and provide a confirmation number and therefore I never spoke to a real person. When I told "Gilbert" that "Brian" took my order, he apologized and said to check back in 48 hours. When I tried to look my order up on the web, I came across this blog and everyone's horror story. I called the company back and tried to cancel my order, which couldn't be done unless I provided my credit card info. I said telerands already had all my personal info, my address, email, phone number, and they should be able to find my record without again providing cc number. I said I would call back in 24 hours to cancell the order. I told him, that because of information I read in this blog, I was immediately calling my credit card company to cancel/disputed any charges from this company. I will probably have to cancel my cc and get a new one issued. Oh well, could be worse!

I have the same comment as all the others before me, but I was ordering the lint lizard.. I went thru the same process of ordering and I kept getting the message that you cannot go back to the last page because it can screw up the order. You go thru the ordering and finally you get your total, which is outragious. There is no way to go back. and no way to go forward. It states that your order has been processed or something. I called the number that is given and listen for ten or so minutes before I get the hours of customer service., He even listed customer service hours for Saturday and Sunday. I've been calling all morning and the last time there was a whole bunch of numbers stated and then it started dialing the number. But, of course, the line was always busy. When I started this complaint I couldn't remember the exact hours for Monday-Friday so I called again. I was really shocked that somebody answered the phone and asked it she could help me. I had just placed the order last night, so she told me she couldn't find my order. She asked me if she could help me and I told her I want to cancel the order. I told her I wanted to cancel the order, because I could not change it on-lne. She told me she would put a cancellation order in, taking my name, address and phone number. But I still have to call back in 24-48 hours to make sure that the got the cancellation taken care of. I'll spend another day and a half or more calling back and probably have the same trouble as I had today. I told her I had read all the complaints about their company and that I was in the process of writing a complaint myself. She said she was sorry, but I needed to call back in 24-48 hours. I told her that company had no business being in business wit all the problems people are having. Thanks for hearing me out.

My complaint is the very same as all of the above people. They are nothing but a ripoff! First the 25 minute phone call, then the same steps as everyone else. Then about 2 months later, the postcard that said sorry, the item is back ordered. Then the other day, a check on my bank account to find out that they took $57.00 out of my account for the 2 Chef Baskets and the free knife + free shipping and handling. Wow, what a bargain, and I hadn't even received the product yet. NEVER AGAIN! We need to put these people in front of a big time court so they cannot do this to any other people. Americans screwing over Americans, and some of us are on a low-income status, thinking we are getting a good bargain, ya right! Yes, by all means, BUYER BEWARE!

My experience was horrible! I had considered ordering the Chef Basket online but decided to call the toll free number instead. I have regretted that phone call ever since. After attempting to sell me everything from product upgrades, expedited shipping, magazine subscriptions, etc... this 25 minute phone call ended with transferring me to a "FREE Cruise" call center who simply hung up on me when I stated I wasn't interested. I began immediately to contact company to cancel my order, which btw - ended up being $53.90. For 2 days, I called customer service & was told that my order was not on the system yet. Finally, when it did appear... they stated that it was too late to cancel; it has already shipped out. Furious, I repeatedly asked to speak to someone that could resolve this issue, cancel my order & refund my money... nothing! Now, I've been told that I upon receipt of product, I can (at my expense) ship it back. ... And then what?...they will process my request for refund within 3-6 weeks. Ugh! You know the saying.. a satisfied customer tells one person, a dissatisfied customer tells 10... I'm telling the WORLD! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

First, my wife, using the website, tried to order one Chef Basket, but became confused by all the add on's, extra's, etc. and cancelled out. Then, I tried. Same problem. I removed my card number and closed. Within two weeks, we started receiving shipments. As of now, we have received 12 Chef Baskets, with two more in the loop! I called and cancelled the last one. Then instructed my bank not to pay them anything more. I guess the words of wisdom are...Caveat Emptor! Be careful! NV Bill

Telebrands Over all poor!

Ordered a Chef basket Deluxe for a christmas gift as someone wanted it. Ordering was vague and confusing even for your more experienced shoppers, order confirmation was vague and included no confirmation number. You can go to contact us link and then another link and enter your phone number to 'Track" your order which just gives you a automated message saying that due to popular demand your order will ship with in 15 days...which you get from day one way past day 15! They delay the shipping as part of the scam so that when you get it, you can"t really return it with in 30days even if you wanted to pay return shipping. So I called customer service to cancel my order. The first guy could not hear me, all though he conveintly repeated himself that he coudl not hear me after I was done speaking. sigh... So i called back again and apparently my phone was working. This time I got an inept Robert Who before asking my problem asked me 3 times for my address and phone number and put me on hold to look up my order. I told him flat out I wanted to cancel my order as it would not ship in time for christmas he offered me $5 off my order, I said no. then He tried again I said I just want to cancel my order cause it wont ship in time he said ok CAN I ASK WHY YOU WANT TO CANCEL! so irritating he obviously has a call script and can not handle much more. sigh. At least when you cancel they give you a cancelation # we"ll see hopfully the cancel goes smoothly! I say wait until it comes out instores.

I also had issues with the deceptive practice outlined here. I ordered the ChefBasket online 11/28/10, DID NOT HAVE THE OPTION TO CANCEL MY ORDER after I entered my credit card info and saw the total of $50.95. I received a card from Telebrands yesterday stating my item is on backorder and anticipated to be shipped within the next 30 days. “Your card will not be charged until the merchandise is shipped.” “However; should you wish to cancel this item, simply sign the box below and return this postage paid card to us.” Fairfield, NJ address on card. I checked my online bank account today and the $50.95 was debited out of my account today! I called the number listed on my bank transaction: 800.777.4034, spoke with CSR that told me my order was in process but has not shipped and insisted she could not cancel the order and I would have to return item upon receipt for refund. I pulled up the IC3 internet crime complaint website while on the phone and started filling out the report while insisting that I speak to a supervisor. CSR repeatedly told me her super was on another call. I advised her of my IC3 Complaint process and would hold for the super. Finally spoke with supervisor and did get a verbal promise, with confirmation#, for a full refund to my account in 7-10 days. She was in their California office. I have copied my “cancel order” card and mailed it to Telebrands for safe measure! I will buy my ChefBasket at Walgreens once my refund is posted to my bank account

Telebrands SCAM

I saw the cute commercial on TV for Crazy Critters and also the price showed buy 2 for $10.00 and pay $6.99 for shipping. Went to their website and they get you on the very 1st page by taking your credit card information and billing information. You are tricked right here as they place your order before you have a chance to proceed and see your order total and shipping charges. The box on the next page automatically places an order for 2 of these items unless you happen to change it which there is really no explanation of what you are ordering. Anyway, it asks you to add on additional items as you are trying to get to the "CHECKOUT PAGE" AND SUBMIT YOUR ORDER LIKE SCRUPULOUS COMPANIES DO. Once I saw the outrageous shipping charge of $30.00 + I exited out of the page. Unfortunately, I went back in a second time to try and see how to buy these things at the cost advertised on TV and changed the order total this time to 1 item and saw a shipping charge of $23.98 for this and once again exited out and never completed my order, SO I THOUGHT! The next business day, I have 2 charges on my credit card from Telebrands and when I called them they said there was nothing they could do as they already shipped the orders and all I could get back by returning them would be the price MINUS SHIPPING. That amounts to $30.00 of the TOTAL $85.00 processed on my credit card. BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY ON-LINE AND DO NOT PROVIDE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION ON THE 1ST PAGE OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED AND YOU ARE STUCK WITH THE CONSEQUENCES!

I ordered the Hurricane Spin Mop from Tele Brand and used my debit card. The same day I received conformation that the my card was charged and the mop was being shipped three charges unauthorized charges were made on my card. They were all made in the area of California where the mop was shipped from. I tried to contact Tele Brands about this but they refuse to acknowledge someone in their company is a thief. All I could do was file a complaint with my Attorney Generals Office and hope they deal with it. I am sure I am not the only person who had their information stolen.

I made the mistake of ordering a Ped Egg from the Telebrands website. Somewhere in the purchase process, there was an offer for a pair of silver and garnet earrings for the "shipping and handling" price of $6.99. I don't remember agreeing to it, but several weeks later, I received a package with silver and garnet earrings and a silver and garnet pendant. Telebrands charaged my credit card $39.00 for the pendant that I did not order, plus $13.98 for the "shipping and handling" for each item. I sent it all back after speaking to Telebrands on the phone. They claimed that I agreed to get addtional and future jewelry shipments, which I did not. Now they refunded the $39.99 for the pendant, but kept the $13.98 for shipping and handling. So, I am out that money and have not earrings. They are crooks, so don't buy anything from Telebrands online, or they will illegally charge your credit card for items that you did not buy.

The same thing happened to me too! When I called their customer service I was told that as soon as they have your credit card info the order is placed automatically. I did a 'refused delivery' on the packages and am still waiting for my refund. I will NEVER go on one of their sites ever again and I will discourage anyone from buying a Telebrand product! The way they place orders without confirmation is totally unfair to the customer...

Telebrands Refused to cancel order

Tried to cancel order immediately after ordered, told to call back next day, then told to call next day, then again, (order was not in system yet, I was told). Third day, told order was shipped and could not be canceled. There was no where online order form to confirm and check order before it was processed. Now I will have to pay to return it and I have no way of knowing if I will ever see my money. I think that I will not. Of course there is no supervisor available to speak with. I was trying to order just one but it upgraded me to 4, which charges me 47.00 instead of the 10.00 plus 6.99 shipping I thought I was paying. I am on disability and this is going to take a huge chunk out of my check book.

I ordered my item four days ago and it is stilll not in the system and I have no idea of what the total price is for my order. I called my bank and put a "HOLD" on my credit card. This insures that the item will not be changed to my account but also doesn't allow me to use my card until I take the "HOLD" off. I have called Telebrands seven times and have been given different stories each time. I have logged each of my telephone calls and if I am not able to get my total charge, I will attempt to cancel my order. Since I have logged my calls, it makes it much easier to "DISPUTE" the unauthorized transaction, should it appear after I receive a cancellation number. I am calling again right now to attempt to do so and will ask to speak with a supervisor. If this doesn't work, it is worth the $15 charge for a new credit card number. If they do charge my account and I am able to dispute the charge, my bank will waive the $15 fee. I hope this advice will assist with others. Also, try other reputable websites such as: Amazon, Home Shopping Network. They offer a much better deal and give a bigger rollers (three sizes) with a telescopic handle for each of the large rollers. The package on Amazon is called The Magic Lint Remover Six Piece Set (Two Large Sets) which is two large rollers with handles (not seen on telebrands), two regular sized rollers (like seen on telebrands) and two travel sized rollers (as seen on telebrand) at a much lower price. I want to order this set because of the lack of customer service and scams going on at Telebrands Sticky Buddy! Best of luck to all!

I just ran into the same problem when trying to modify my order...got told I have to call back in another 24 hours. I warned the person on the phone that I would have the charges reversed, called my CC company, & will dispute the charges when it is posted, as well as will return to sender, if they try to ship my order. The order is in a pending status, but red flags went up when they refused to cooperate or put a supervisor on the line. I will not do business with Telebrands again, nor should anyone else. This happened to be for Slim Away.

Telebrands misleading shipping charges

Be very careful when ordering Barelifts from this company. Their website shows 10 barelifts cost only $10 with 6.99 shipping/handling. When you input your personal information, various other screens will come up to entice you to buy other Telebrand products. Once you get past those extraneous products, an option will be presented for expedited shipping as normal shipping takes 3-6 weeks. The extra cost for expedited shipping stated 9.99 but it doesn't advise whether the 9.99 is on top of the 6.99 or instead of. I live in Canada and I chose the expedited shipping, the next screen showed the order being sent and processed and shipping cost totalled 33.97! This is so misleading and ethically wrong that there is no preview of the total cost before the order is processed. Buyer beware.

Telebrands Wrong Item Being Sent

I saw a commercial for Pasta Boat on TV and ordered one.

When they sent me an email to confirm it had been shipped, it did NOT say Pasta Boat. It said Pasta N More.

Guess what? I did NOT order Pasta N More.

They pulled the EXACT SAME thing on me with their Windshield Wonder.

When I ordered the Windshield Wonder, they sent me the Glass Wizard with a lame piece of paper inside saying this was the "DELUXE" version of Windshield Wonder.

If that was the case, why on the box was there NO MENTION at all of it being a Windshield Wonder?

I know these products perform the same function, but they are NOT the same item.

If I order something, I expect to get what I ordered.

And IF they want to send me something else, they should notify me first to see if I want the other item.

Needless to say I am angry about this, otherwise I would not take all this time to complain about it.

Telebrands Double sale

I place an order for Jupiter jack. When you followed the links they doubled the order and asked if you wanted more. Before you knew it all was ordered without CC total bill confirmation. Exact prices were not clear until the CCD was charged. Poof you're in. I received 2 confirmations mailings. I called the next morning. I had a very difficult time getting a real person and they said no problem so I gave them my Email address. 1 week later I got both packages. I called again and they apologized for the error and they would credit back either returned package. I sent the one package back and of the $40 order I received a credit or $6 and change.
Regardless of the customer service promise of full credit they charge me for return charges and not the Rip off $20 shipping charge.

This company has NO Ethics and should be shut down by the state.

Purchased Chefdini, $14.99, buy one, get one free, plus shipping of $7.99 as advertised on t.v. Invoice was for $77.96, instead of $22.98. I called and Kat told me they would refund $15.00 or I could return the merchandise, I wanted to speak to her supervisor but was told they would get back to me. Never heard from them.

Telebrands has a scam set up with another company called Just 4 Me. Telebrands sends a small check that appears to be a rebate check. If you cash the check, Telebrands gives your credit card number to Just 4 Me who starts charging you a fee for a service you have never heard about. The 2 companies have this scam set up together and both make money after sharing your credit card with Just 4 Me. Am I the only one that this has happened to?

Telebrands I have been treated like a stupid consumer

Telebrands Pasta Bowl CLEARLY states (and I printed it to confirm)that ONE Pasta Bowl is $10.00 plus $6.99 for shipping. (Again I have PRINTED this info). Then it ASKS during checkout IF I want the second one for the same added price plus another $6.99 shipping. I checked their NO THANKS button. At the end I have an invoice for $10.00 for the ONE Pasta Bowl, but then they have DOUBLED THE SHIPPING to $13.98 !

But that isn't even the worst part. When I called IMMEDIATELY AFTER, they "can't find my order for 24-48 hours to cancel it". ha...BY THEN THEY WOULD HAVE SHIPPED IT !

They said I have to call back in 24 or 48 hours. Amazing, they took my $$ immediately online but now can't find it to cancel.

I am really mad at myself. I tried a Telebrands product once LONG AGO and they pulled some garbage then too.

I will NEVER order from them again. I do NOT like to be treated like a stupid consumer.

Telebrands They stole money from you

I had exactly the same bad experiences with this junk company. I saw the TV ad and then tried to order a heel-stick product from www.heelstick.com. The price on the TV is $10 for each, while after I entered my discover information, my address, and everything, the price showed $23.98! Handling & Shipping costs are much more than the price of the product itself. I did not continue, did not authorize the purchase, and just close the website. I thought that’s it. Two weeks later I received the products, and I found that they charged my discover! It was just like a theft, you saved your credit card info, and they stole money from you!

I returned back the product to the company and paid the shipping around $9. I called this god-damned company several times [protected] begin_of_the_skype_highlighting [protected] end_of_the_skype_highlighting, also telebrands ), I told them they were stealing my money, and told them to refund the money ASAP, or I would sue them. They were doing against the business law. Later they refunded me $10. I called discover card and told them that I did not authorize the purchase; they said they would investigate it. One week later, the rest of the money were refunded to my discover account.

Actually, though discover did a good job in dealing this issue, but it also depended on who received your call. The first time I called, the representative was very indifferent and told me to contact the junk company because they could not do anything with that. Several days later I called again and the other representative was very professional and told me that the company needed to show the records of my purchase. As long as I did not authorize anything, they should not charge my money.

So I would suggest you call your credit card company. Try again if you do not get a good representative. I do believe that they are right,as long as you do not authorize anything, the junk company can not charge you via credit card.

So my loss this time was $ 9 of the shipping fee. I do not expect to have that back. But I am going to complain to BBB. Money is not the deal. I am just angry with such kinds of thefts.

Telebrands This is a total scam

I ordered Jupiter Jack, 2 for $10, they billed me $68: chargred me $19.99 for each, charged me shipping of $7 on each then send two mounts and charged me $7 on each. Called and got some rude people from India, they basically told me to go to hell, I mean it, they said the bill refected what I agreed to. A scam, I am still protesting this via my credit card company. Not only that, in Denver the jack doesn't work on the channels they provided (too much interference). This is a total scam. Don't buy this from the web site or tv ad, you will get a bill in which the shipping is more than the product price and the damn thing won't work.

I saw the ad on tv for the hurricane mop and thought it was a good idea so I picked up the phone to order the mop. Until I was done ordering I was so confused because you have to order extra components to get what I saw on the advertisement.. When I received my order it was four times the items than I thought I ordered. Since then I have been trying to call them and all I get is a busy signal on the phone. I want to send these things back and want to be reimbursed for the postage why should I pay for something I did not order. Besides the mop is a piece of junk !

Telebrands Outrageous shipping charges

What a SCAM! I feel so naive. Sure, I thought $10 + S&H for the "buy one, get one free offer)would be worth giving it a shot, right?... Well if they didn't charge $6.99 PER SET, it might of been. So, instead of my total being around $14 as I expected, it ended up being $23.98! Which will put my credit card "over the limit, " as I only had $19 available to spend. The $29 "over the limit" fee that I will have to pay, IS EVEN MORE THAN THE PURCHASE ITSELF! So really, I will end up paying a total of $52.98 for these stupid things, instead of $14 as I expected!

IF I HAD BEEN GIVEN A CHANCE to review the total charges of my order, PRIOR to confirming my payment, I would have changed my mind on this purchase altogether. I suppose I am just naive, but i didn't realize companies could do this! As I have ALWAYS had the chance to review my order PRIOR to a payment.

I FEEL SO DECEIVED. Even if I end up LOVING "Bare Lifts, " (which I HIGHLY doubt-due to countless poor reviews that I JUST found online) I will NEVER recommend them OR purchase them again in the future because of Telebrands greediness & deceit.

I totally agree with you. This just happened to me. I ordered 2 sets of Crazy Critters for a total of $20. They do not show shipping fee. When I got the email confirmation, they had charged me $27.96 for shipping! I called immediately to cancel and was told that the order does not go into their system for 24-48 hours and to call back next day. They would make a note that I wanted to cancel. Call back the nnext day and get same run around. Told to call back today. Called today and was told that they cannot canel it manually becasue the order had been filled and was ready to ship. They would give me $10 off. I told them I was going to stop payment with Am Ex and report them to the Better Business Burueau and all of a sudden they give me a return number to put on the box when it comes. Somebody needs to investigate them for criminal charges.
