| i dont know about it being a scam... i read the fine print and it states that if you decide not to cancel the trial, you are conveniently enrolled in their membership... and you will be charge such and such amount and your first order will be sent out such and such a date... scam? no... sneaky? yes... i had already ordered when i found this print... i was looking for a customer service number because i expected both shipments to be 1.95... which wasnt and thats when i stumbled on the automatic membership... |

| Thank you everyone for submiting information about this company and DazzleSmile. It stopped me from ordering because I've been down this road before. Everyone should check the internet about a product/company before ordering because there is always a catch when it's too good to be true. |

| Oh my. i was a click away to order mine a min. ago. I was caught in to the ad to combine 2 different products to whiten teeth (South Beach Brite & Dazzle Smile) but then they wouldn't accept my card that would expire within a month, Thank Goodness! (I would still like to find some other way to whiten my teeth tho., .) |

|
| Hmm...I didnt have any issue cancelling the membership on my order. I guess it's just a matter of reading the fine print. I don't see it as a scam although it was a bit sneaky. It seems alot of products are using this tactic and people are not reading the fine print, hence the greater number of complaints on free-trial offers. Armed with this knowledge, I wouldnt let it stop me from trying a product that seems to work...I'd just take a couple extra minutes and read their terms. |

I ordered the free trial(pay for shipping & handling only) for $1.95. I didn't read anything about a membership for $79.95 so when my credit card was charged I called the company and they said I had agreed to this membership. I disputed the charge but they wouldn't give me a refund. I asked for a RMA number to return the product because I hadn't even used it but they wouldn't give me that either because it had been passed 14 days. If I had know I was agreeing to a membership I wouldn't have gotten the product and if I knew that
I had 14 days to return it I would have returned it within that time period. They agreed to
not send me anymore product but I was just suckered out of the $79.95. DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY WERE VERY SNEAKY AND MISREPRESENTED THE PRODUCT. I don't know if the product actually works or not. The customer service people were very rude and I just want people to know to read the fine print so you will not get scammed out of your money.

| I also found the advertisement to use both the Dazzlewhite and South Beach Brite. I ordered both the trial products. I did not see the Dazzlewhite fine print about the auto enrollment for the membership. There is a money back guarentee so I am sending it back for a refund. The South Beach Brite I actually got the RMA number in time and told them not to charge my account, but they still did. I am working now to get a refund. I wish I would have done some research, it would have saved me a lot of time and headache. |

They are more than just sneaky. They claim to give you a trial sample to use just for the price of S&H, then attempt to charge your CC monthly for over $75 to keep the same tiny amount of product coming! There is a YouTube video of a TV station news investigator who exposed the scam. It goes by several names (Dazzle Smile, South Beach Brite, Premium White, CleanWhite, etc) but it's all run by the same 2 former rock'n roll brothers/losers from California. The TV station had an independent lab test the peroxide whitening gel, which was clearly marked 35% strength, but turned out to be only 13% strength, which is less than your dentist would prescribe and has very little whitening power. In addition, the brothers were interviewed and they claimed the products were FDA approved - all bullshit! The FDA classifies these products as cosmetic only, and they DO NOT issue an FDA approval at all! So the guys lied to the TV reporters as well as the public who gets taken in by the ads. And finally, if you read the very fine print on their website, you find out the tale about "Emily, the Mom from Boston" is all made up and fictional, as are all those supposed "customer comments" you read that rave about what a wonderful product it is!
I fell for the scam myself, but next day read about the investigations ongoing over these crooks. So I went on their online site for CleanWhite and after digging through numerous menus, finally found their instructions on how to cancel the trial membership. Wouldn't you know it, they issue you a UPS label by email and then expect you to pay $6.95 to UPS to ship the remainder of the trial stuff back to them! Now, if I've already paid several bucks for the "free trial", why should I have to return any of it? Well, I'm not gonna do it. Not only that, I'm using up the remainder of the trial materials that I paid for. And, following instructions elsewhere, I've cancelled my credit card so they cannot charge me for any more than the trial. Interestingly, right after I paid my $3 for the CleanWhite and another 99cents for the DazzleWhite sample, my credit card company put a temporary stop on my card because of "fraudulent activity". So there's your proof that this is a scam that even the credit card companies are aware of. My only question is this: why hasn't the FDA and/or the FTC stepped in to shut these guys down? How much longer is the government willing to allow these people to operate this way, ripping off the public?
If you ordered the teeth whitening samples, my suggestion is you immediately notify your Credit Card company and have them cancel your card and issue you a new one. And under no circumstances should you give out the new number to them again. |

Scam alert!!!
Do not give your credit card or debit number or you will be sorry. The pain and aggravation is ongoing. I ordered from a similar web site probably owned by these same people. Dealing with the auto-bots when you call them by phone or talk to them on-line is a joke. The ad is deceiving because it is shown on legitimate news websites making it appear to be a story or consumer review. Nothing could be farther from the truth. It even states at the bottom of the page the story of the mom is false!!! The terms and conditions are buried so you end up not even seeing them when you go to enter your card. This company appears to go by many names and changes often so dealing with them and your credit card company or bank is confusing and difficult. Stay away so you do not end up the victim of such a nightmarish scheme. :( |

| SCAM...FRAUD...THIEVES...they STEAL your money plain and simple. I am out over $300, which I am sure I will never see again. Had to cancel my cc. I don't know how these people sleep at night. So if anyone out there works for these companies and sees this message thanks for taking food out of my childrens mouths scum bags!!! Karma's a BITCH!!! |

It's expensive stuff. I don't know if it works or not. You get a 14 day "trial" of a 30 day supply of product. By the time it gets to you there's only about 7-10 days to try the product.
Yes, the terms of the contract are on their web site. I didn't see the terms until I got my credit card statement and saw that I'd already been charged twice by one company and once by the other. When I found the terms and read them I promptly called to cancel my "enrollment". The people I spoke with were friendly enough and agreed to refund part of the second charge when they get back the unopened product that had been recently sent.
They will not refund postage, I have to pay postage to return it and there is a 15% "restocking charge". I canceled my credit card as a precaution even though both companies agreed to cancellation of the original agreement that I unwittingly got into. The total charges to my credit card were over $250.00, I've been promised a refund of $67.95 from one company for a second package that they already sent and a refund of $87.62 from the other company for additional product that they charged for but I didn't receive. Time will tell, I do believe that they will follow through but I won't know for sure until I see it on my credit card statement. (I can't even check it on line, canceling the card also cancels online access to view the account).
It was an expensive lesson on reading the fine print before you try any "free trial" offer. They made sure to correct me when I mentioned free sample. It's not a free sample, it's a free trial offer. I now know that there's a BIG difference.
I'd be willing to bet that the weight loss and anti-depressant products that are being pitched so heavily on the radio are similar to this offer. If you want to try them make sure to get the details first. If you know what you're getting into and abide by their guidelines you may actually get a free trial and the product might be right for you. I know I won't be falling for anything like this again, I'm having a hard time believing I didn't read the terms of this one, I'm usually a stickler for details like that.
Oh well, live and learn. I guess it could have been worse. |

I have learned the same hard lesson this morning as well.
One thing my Visa card customer service rep said is that if you cancel your card they can still charge the new one through the old number. I didnt think this was possible as my other subscriptions over the years have always called me to get my new cc number when I forgot to update them. Supposedly this is the agreement between the Visa merchants and Visa to protect the merchants.
I dont know if this is true but if it is then my recommendation to anyone is to get a cancellation number as soon as you can to prevent the thieves from charging any more dollars to your card.
I can only hope karma pays a big visit to these crooks! |

All the facts together:
-They advertise is a FALSE NEWS (improper use of news logos and also suggests that your family dentist is stealing money from you - what a shame!!!);
-Product NOT APPROVED BY FDA (!!!);
-Fictional (FALSE) customer COMMENTS;
-Misrepresentation of product as LAB TESTS SHOWS IT DOESN’T WORK as shows that peroxide whitening gel marked 35% in the product is actually just 13% (the add also claims that 2 different products from 2 different companies are responsible for the “promised results”);
-HIDDEN TERMS and conditions for a “membership” and (also they have a countdown clock showing that you have less than 2 minutes to finalize your transaction making a PSYCOLOGICAL PRESSURE on consumers to type quickly your CC information and agree with the hidden terms)
-Once you have been trapped, 14 days from order (for two products, from different companies) to try, see the results and CANCEL is an “IMPOSSIBLE MISSION” when you don’t have time to see the “results”, judge the product and cancel “membership” ( the formula: 14 days - Shipping time - Test product - Cancellation = 0 results);
-ABUSIVE CHARGES on your Credit Card and final price (lesson) over any product or method that really work.
Did I miss something?
Of course these guys did not refuse to be interviewed on the news because, even not been honest, such discussions brings MORE EXPOSURE to their product on TV!
And NOW THEY COME here, TO THIS SACRED PLACE (for costumer’s victims of fraudulent activities), and START POSTING OVER and OVER these FALSE STATEMENTS – It should be fun if not TRAGIC!
IT’S A RESULT OF IMPUNITY! |

The above website is no longer available. This is a scam and everyone should report this company to the BBB immediately. They say they have a 30 day guarantee but when trying to send back the merchandise they argue with you. Even if you send back the product they still charge you the $79.95 and will not give you a refund.
Bad news! |

| I received my "free" sample of South Beach Brite 3 days ago. I am still trying to get through on their phone line to cancel the membership program. If the site on which I read about them stated that the membership was $79.95 a month, I would not have sent for the sample. What I received was the same thing that I get from my dentist, only not as good. I was lead to believe that this was a different kind of system, but maybe I just didn't read the description of the program that well. I already have dental trays custom fitted by my dentist. They are a far better fit than any I would be able to get, however much trimming I did, from the generic ones in the kit. Also, I can get the whitening refill from my dentist at half or less the price charged by the Natural Source Store. From what I've been reading in my research about this company, the product from my dentist is stronger and better. I guess I didn't read their ad carefully enough, because I thought this was a different, superior program than the one my dentist has. Seeing that the kit was the same thing that I've used in the past from my dentist, I did not use the product. But according to their insert, I cannot opt out of the program continuing, month after month, without obtaining from them a RMA number. the only way to get that is with a (non 800) phone call. Meanwhile, I've contacted my CC to have them withold any payment to the Natural Source Store or South Beach Brite. I advise everyone to stick with the whitening program offered by your local dentist. It is effective and much less expensive than South Beach Brite. |

| i also ordered these 2 products based on the mom's ad. i would not have oredered these had i fully understood the add'l charges. unfortunately it has now been approx 17 days that i had the product which i never used and i called the 954 number twice to cancel, and the reps are rude and are not willing to bend at all. i asked to speak to a supv and they both said they were senior reps, but yet the second one(michael c.) did not know who the first one(dana) was. he said she must work in another ofc. which they both said they worked in davie, fl. premium white said if i returned their product they would refund my money, after reading these reviews, im not sure if that is the truth or not. my question is, can they really send my info to collections? if i cancel my cc and get a new one, can they recharge my acct? is there another forum we can go to to discuss or learn more about what we can do? i do not want this to end here. |

| I was ran into a scam offered on CNN website for South Beach Brite Tooth Whitening. The story on CNN tell how a housewife discovered by accident if you mix South Beach with another whitening product that she had great results. At the end of the article it tell you that the products can be recieved for just the shippoing and handling 1.95. When you go to the website it tells you about the promotion. I thought I was getting a good deal, but instead I looked at my credit card statement and had 2 charges for $78.95 and $79.95. I started to do some online research and discovered others had also fell victim to this scam. If you click on the terms on theor websit they explain that this is a 14 day trial that begins not when you recieve the product but when you place the order. They then start charging you 78.95 per month for the tooth whitener. This is so misleading and something needs to be done to stop them from ripping people off. I now have to contact VISA to try and recop money, since this company won't refund. And have to change my credit card so, no future charges are made to it hopefully?? I am so feedup with people trying to make it rich being so deceptive and ripping people off in such a sneaking way. Be upfront like any repital company would be instead of hiding and making up stories to take people to the laundry. This company makes me sick!!! |

Trial products on Sparkle and South Beach Brite was ordered on Dec 8, 2009 and have a 14 days rick free trial. A total of $30.23 (US$27.86) - S & H plus membership fees had been billed on my credit card on Dec 8th. Today is already Dec 20, I still had not received any of their trial products.
Starting from Dec 15, 2009, I tried to contact Natural Source Store with their advertised phone number 954-237-2690 but in vain. I just got non-stop recorded messages keep asking me to choose one of their menu without directing my calls.
E-mail sent to Sparkle, South Beach Brite and Natural Source Store stating I am not interest in their products anymore and asking them not to enrol me to their Automatic Home Delivery Product Plan, got no reply from them. Two letters had been sent to Everbright Smiles - 15621 Blue Ash Drive, unit 160, Houston TX77090 and Natural Source Store, LLC 4051 SW 47th Avenue Suite 101-102 Davie, Florida 33314 respectively stating not interest in their products anymore and stop them from sending me products and no further billing to my credit card.
Called 1-888-220-2291 to cancel my membership on Dec 16 (within 30 days since Dec 8) and the customer service representative replied that a total of $23.96 ($11.98 twice) will be credited back to my credit card. On Dec 18 called 1-888-220-2291 again, Natural Source Store agent Rochelle reconfirmed that my membership had been cancelled and had to wait 7 to 10 days for full refund on membership fees.
Tomorrow Dec 21 will be my last day of risk free trial, but I am not able to get hold of any Sparkle and South Beach Brite agent regarding my concern of refusing to accept any products and will mail back whatever they had send to me (provided that I receive items from them) and refuse to enrol to their Automatic Home Delivery Product Plan.
Today I called my credit card centre and report the scam and had blocked my credit card to prevent them charging me anymore. |

On the "web newscast, " a school teacher and full time mother from my home town (how convenient), said that the Premium White Pro and Vibrant Smile Kit teeth whiteners were samples to get for $1.95 each, an inexpensive way to avoid the charges of a dentist's services. These "companies" were "giving away free trials where you only had to pay a few dollars for shipping." That would be considered a sample, since nothing is said of a trial period and automatic shipments afterward. It was really an advertisement, disguised as a local news story on how to save money.
When they called from both "companies" to verify the order, they tried to add to the order, whereby I told them both that I didn't wish anything but the samples for now.
I received "samples" named South Beach Brite and DazzleWhite. We were charged a small fee for a foreign exchange, then receiving double charges for both products on December, 4 charges of 79.95 to $86.93, plus a separate $2.00 fee, a total of about $340.
I called the South Beach Brite "company, " and they refused to reverse charges on the original order for $86.93, but wouldn't allow me to speak to a supervisor. When I sought to call the Dazzlewhite or Premium White "company, I notice the same phone numbers on their web site as the South Beach "company." Smelling a rat, a SCAM, I checked the net and found these many complaints.
So I called my Visa card provider to report the inappropriate charges, which they marked in dispute, removing the charges and going after the phony companies. I think this is resolved, and I have learned a valuable lesson in avoiding such SCAM efforts. |

I am sorry to say that they got me, too. I failed to read the fine print and they have hit me for $3.95 as they said but also for 79.95 for which I have received nothing. I have cancelled my credit card so they can do no further damage. I have been calling their 954-237-2690 number to no avail since the trial period started. I have yet to speak to a live person. All I get is recordings saying that due to heavy call volume I will need to hold or leave a number for a call back within 1 to 3 hours. After eight messages, I have received no call backs. So without a R RMA # the product cannot be returned, ergo they hit my account for $79.95. I have my credit card company filing an official dispute with this company to try to recoup my funds. Beware of evil, unfair business practices!
