Team Winmark review: No payment for services 8

What comes around goes around and one day the disgusting market leaders that do exactly everything Miss Murphy outlined in her first post will have to defend their actions and/or at least face their judgement.
I especially liked hearing the phrase "super model" wife because I heard the same exact words in Cincinnati. Given the same promises, told to hand my sales over to one of their incompetent managers bc I will earn more money that way...really? Maybe if that junior manager paid me. The biggest joke and so very insulting for Direct Energy or any business to know that these are the people out selling your product. The ring leader is a meth smoking talker. No actions. All talk. No respect for Direct. For Win Mark, for customers and absolutely no respect for the hard working individuals that went out day after day only to line his pockets. Not to mention his obvious complete lack of any self esteem that in order to make his self feel good he holds payroll then tells everyone that he is paying their weekly earnings out of his own pocket bc he is just so generous. Really? Try being honest for just one day Mr Morris.

What a shame. This was a great business opportunity and you could have all earned tons of money. Instead of focusing on learning in the field and making sales you were lazy. I earned outstanding income while working for Winmark. I actually read all of the information provided to me about the products, went into the field each and every day, making sales to satisfied customers. Every morning I made sure to touch base with my customers reminding them of their installations. At the end of the evening I made sure to call these same customers back and make sure they were installed and everything was running smoothly. I promptly entered my customers info into a spread sheet and made sure to match-up my pay report and my cancellation report to my customer list. If any installs were missed, to call the customers and Comcast back to reschedule. Worked like a charm. If the sales I made were not on the cancellation or installation report, which almost never happened, I would contact my manager and the sale would end up on my next check, which was no problem because I got paid every week! Door-to-door sales is a tough job. It's hard to be out in the cold or beating sun for endless hours. This job wasn't for everyone. But it wasn't the fault of Winmark, your manager, or your co-workers that the job didn't work out for you. It takes alot of self-drive to make it as a contractor in any type of work. In order to get paid you had to go to the meetings to learn about the products, go out to the field to make the sales, budget your money or arrange to ride with someone to get to the field and that you knew where you were going, stay in the field and off personal calls and the internet, follow-up with your customers to make sure the sales went through so you would get paid for them. Clearly you neglected to preform some of your job duties or you would have never had this issue. Winmark had hundreds of happy contractors. Obviously if no one was making money they wouldn't have had all these people with them to make their dreams come to life. As to the slander each and every person that worked for them had a background check completed. It would be impossible for anyone to be a pedophile. As to the person claiming about getting "stuck" out of town. Now come on. Who in their right mind would go anywhere with out enough money to get home and cover their expenses while they were there. I don't think a corporate house to stay at while working out of town was intended to be a primary residence. Clearly if you have such financial issues that you would take off out of town with no money or place to live you have some serious problems that have nothing to do with an employer. Its really easy to blame someone else for your problems than to do something about fixing your life. Someone your conducting contracting services for is one small piece of your life. If you have alot of personal problems, (ie relationships, drug and mental health issues, financial issues, and homelessness are all listed in this blog) you will have difficulties with any job. Help yourself and work on your personal life so you have the ability to be a good contactor or employee!

Teamwinmark is a scam! I have seen many examples of people not getting paid the money they earned. Instead they get excuses and lies, often managers accusing them of "not doing their job" or blaming the people, instead of the company for not paying them. Any self-respecting person should not consider working for them, because they are very unprofessional and don't live up to the promises they make! They claim the average person makes a certain amount each week, but in reality, people make much less because of the corrupt things the company does. This company is by far the WORST company I have ever worked for! Don't even consider working for them or you'll regret it!

This complaint that is logged on Aug 23rd really does seem like the ramblings of someone that proably would not be an ideal employee with any company. I know Winmark has hundreds of current employees and probabaly over a thousand past employees from years gone by. I would not put to much stock into what Semurphy has to say as far as a complaint.

This is tue. And "DrugFreeDTD" is so obviously a winmark shill it's pathetic. "Supermodel new wife"? LOL! Talk about a third-grade comeback! "You look like an old junkie, and sound like an old smoker" WOW. Notice not once did team winmark refute anything she actually said! Yeah you guys sure have room to talk, you make your money by selling people who need jobs on "the dream" that they'll never see, throw them out some cash and chump-change bonuses, then you rip them off at every twist and turn, taking their money for all kinds of bullcrap reasons...and don't get me started about the horror stories I've heard about anyone unfortunate enough to get stuck, often out of town, in one thier 'corporate housese" (which are usually in whoever's name happens to be there when they lease it, so THEY have to deal with it when they eventually trash the place, screw the landlord, and everyone who was on the leases credit for years ! They not only screw over their customers every chance they get, with slamming, fraud, taking advantage of ESL and elderly people, and, "bulldogging", etc. being REWARDED (and now I hear they're even scamming people on the East Coast with anotyher SCAM COMPANY called direct energy! google it!), but they also screw over their own employees! No wonder all the managers keep their so-called "A-Team" drunk and doped up, it's the only way they won't realize what a scam they're involved in! If you're not a manager there, expect to get EFFED in the A. And if you are a manager, well you've already swallowed enough of your manager's DNA to probably make you technically his child! Team Winmark is a joke of a job that only maked the people at the top of the chain rich AT EVERYONE ELSE'S EXPENSE, everyone sup or manager is a trained pathologcal LIAR, and this place has everything that's wrong with theses kinds of jobs and marketing in the USA all rolled up into one.

The Tucson manager is half your age with a supermodel new wife and he wants to have sex with you WHY? I absolutely agree. . . not only do they not pay you what you have rightfully earned, they have managers/team leaders in place that are dirty, lying, perverted, manipulating ###s that only care about themselves. In Tucson, Arizona, the manager there is an absolute waste of human life. I am divorced, been in a couple dysfunctional relationships BUT this guy is worse than all of my ex's, boyfriends and bosses included. I did not have sex with him DAY 1 and since then he has treated me like total [censored]. It sucks so bad. I had such high hopes for this job, I NEEDED this job. I have worked for over 4 weeks and have NO PAY CHECK. actually, they say I owe them 5 dollars. IT IS INSANE and a SCAM.
