Horrid customer service!!! I went in to have taxes prepared and was due a refund so opted to go with instant refund. tax preparer who I'll call"ms.Mussel" said i was entitled to a decent refund so after calling around to various government branches with everyone from the government offices telling her that there were no holds or anything to prevent me from getting a refund she decided to ok it and issued me a check. Fast forward 2 weeks later and she is leaving messages on my phone saying that they hadn't received a refund from the government and now i gotta pay it back. She blocked my message machine in 1 day with increasingly harassing messages like a bill collector!!! All i did was go in and get my taxes filed like anybody else opting to use instant refund since it's a busy time of year. So i get in touch with her the next day or so and she gives me a government number to call, i do and the person i spoke to tells me there is no legitimate hold on my refund and reissues it out i call back ms. mussel and tell her the government official said the check will be issued and figured that was that. Its now 2 weeks later and shes calling me again with all kinds of attitude, speaking to me like i did something wrong by using their tax preparation services in the first place. I told her she was the one who had decided to issue me the refund not me. anyway, i had to call the government again and follow it up myself again!!! And it is indeed just being processed. I guess it must be my fault that the government isn't super speedy this time of year. Duh!!! thats why i opted to go with the instant refund in the first place!!! Never again!!! From now on i'll just file my taxes myself and wait for my refund!!! Better than dealing with "ms.mussel" and her awful attitude and horrible customer service!!!
