I was offered a position at Target on Nov 1 for seasonal help as a dayside stocker only to receive a card 2 weeks later stating that they could not offer me a position. I know it's my word against the person who offered me the position. I went for the preliminary drug testing and everything and thought it was a done deal.

that's what happens when you have a policy of hiring more people straight out of school rather than from within the company. new managers who have no idea what to do are making decisions for the store they know nothing about. target managers are morons, plain and simple.
