beefy crunchy burrito
I've purchased several of those beefy crunchy burrito throughout Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach, CA - I notice I was having this extremely horrible headaches - I'm 54 years of age and I have never experienced headaches or migraines - so I tried to think what I had been doing different since the onset of these excruciating headaches. The new beefy burrito - so I stopped consuming them for 4 - 5 days. Stopped into a Taco Bell - ordered the crunchy burrito and within a few hours - my headache had returned. I also noticed I actually craved this item. There must be some chemical they use that actually makes me crave them - and in turn gives me an excruciating headache. I will no longer be eating at Taco Bell..
beef in my burrito
I am a vegetarian, and me and my family clearly told Taco Bell that we did not eat any meat, and that it was against our religion. The waitress was barely listening to us, and when we recieved our food, my entire burrito was filled with beef. We asked for a refund, but the waitress was really rude about it, and called in her manager. We had to fight to get our money back just for four burritos we ordered filled with beef.

"giving DRUGS not approved by FDA to CHILDREN" is slanderous. It is classified as Slander per se. The post has no foundation and is not backed by any fact, written or verbal. The mere fact that this statement has been made by CRF INVESTORS LLC in this forum is a direct attempt to discredit our company and then lay the illegal foundation to back out of our signed an notarized JV Agreement.

food poisoning
In the span of one year, twice I bought tacos late at night to experience tremendous stomach aches and nausea. The first time after eating at this location I suspected the tacos, but I assumed I was catching the flu. My latest experience, after purchasing the tacos late at night, I was extremely ill. After consulting with my physician, I was diagnosed with...

On September 10, 2010 at 10:30pm at the Taco Bell located
in Memphis, Tennessee at the corner of Mendenhall and Knight Arnold. An employee of this Franchise location was smoking Marijuana outside the establishment door. He was standing outside the enter door on an employee break. This seems normal to this young man. He didn't even try to hide his drugs from the customers inside the store nor outside either. It was very clear that a drug test is not conducting when hiring employee. This franchise should be close for business.

misleading commercial
I'm not sure if I'm the only one that has this complaint or not. Taco bell is not the only company to do this and it is something that has bothered me for years now. Taco Bell has just come out with a new sandwich, the Chicken flatbread sandwich. I simple inexpensive sandwich, looks good right. The commercials appears to state every ingredient that is a part of the sandwich; chicken, cheese and flatbread. But then you order it and it also has a chipotle sauce. What I do not understand in the least bit is why these companies cannot say one more ingredient in their commercial, especially one as important as a chipotle sauce. I mean I can see it has flatbread, there's really no reason to restate that...but the chipotle sauce is orange/yellowish and therefore looks exactly like the cheese.
I had no problems with the sandwich personally, liked it actually. But I had ordered this specifically for my three year old son. I figured this would be perfect for him; inexpensive, simple and non-messy to eat, and who can beat chicken and cheese. But the sauce was too spicy for him. Had they said in the commercial that final ingredient I would have known this was not for him, instead I waste money.
new cantina taco
Through all the advertisements of your new taco, whether it be the cantina or any other item on your menu I continue to feel like I am being ripped off. The price for the taco shows no reflection in the quality or quantity of food I am getting. I got two tortillas and a small portion of meat, which resembled cat food. The taste was not any better than the way it looked. It had few onions and no cilantro on it at all. Each time I come to your restuarant I am let down with the quality of your food. The commercial represented a quality taco with actual cilantro leaves and chunks of meat. When I actually ordered the taco I recieved a mushed meat which was supposed to be "pork". I have never seen such a difference in the taco advertised and the actual. Maybe If the food looked even similar to the commercials I would feel good about my purchase and be a return customer but over the years Taco Bell continues to disappoint. Your unsatisfied customer.

broken teeth
I bit into a beef taco from Taco Bell on January 29, 2010 and broke 2 teeth on the several small pieces of ground up bone. I have documentation and my dentist documented the damage and it will cost over $7k to repair the damage. Taco Bell referred me back to the originaly meat production company: Tyson Foods.
BEWARE! DON'T EVER EAT AT TACO BELL AGAIN ! IT'S NOT WORTH IT!
I just bit into cheesy been and rice burrito and cracked tooth. There were three tiny black rock I spit out
Earlier about an hour ago I bit into a taco from del taco and bit into something hard and cracked my tooth it looks like a piece of tooth that sure isn't from me or looks like a piece of bone I don't know at this moment.
Del Taco is the only fast food place here that claims that they do not use any lard in their beans.
I apologize for my sarcasm. I did misunderstand. This whole ordeal has been very upsetting. I will not eat fast food again. Too scary. I believe that even a vegetarian meal (like a bean burrito for example) could contain a foreign object.
I said beware of ground meat - I never mentioned ground up bone.
Your attitude toward non-veggetarian people seemed condescending to me.
Your accusations that we are liars is not called for either
You are correct, Stealth Pilot, that one takes the risk of running into bone when eating meat. Whatever was in this taco was not bone, it had to have been a much harder substance (like metal) that shattered other metal.
You can doubt the story all you want, but we are honest people and would never accuse a company of wrongdoing unjustly.
Wanted to post an update. Tyson/Jack in the Box split the cost of the dental bridge reimbursement. It took a while and some effort, but I appreciate them taking responsibility for their product liability.
Watch the DVD "FOOD INC" and you won't look at Fast foods the same.
I ordered two tacos from Jack-in-the-Box, taking advantage of their 2 for $1.00 special. Their taco turned out to be an very expensive lunch. There was something in the meat that broke my permanent two bridge crown. It cost $1, 550 to replace. I gave the restaurant manager the remains of the taco which I know contained the remains of my dental bridge. They have come back with their report stating that no dental material was found. I have a witness to the fact that there was dental material in the taco remains.
They denied my claim. I am very disgusted with the way my complaint has been handled. Beware of ground meat at fast food places.
Just this week, I took my son to the movies and he was hungry afterwards. He wanted Taco Bell... I ordered myself one of thier new QUAD STEAK QUESADILLAS ...wasn't bad until I took a bite on something hard and felt a pain shoot through the left side of my mouth! What I found was a white square object that was almost a square inch with gristle attached. It cracked my tooth and I was sick to my stomach (which I'm sure was psychosomatic). I went online and immediately sent a complaint to their corporate office. 3 days later, I received a call from the mgr of the Taco Bell I purchased it from...I did not return the call because I felt that I made a complaint to the corporate office and they should have been the one's to contact me. Not only do I not want to ever eat at Taco Bell again...I can't stomach the thought of eating any food prepared by someone in a restaurant.
I would press charges to pay for your dental bills.
terrible service
Well this is kind of an interesting situation but never the less irritating. My birthday was on April 12th and I had called a few days before that to check what tacobell does for birthdays and was informed that I would receive a free combo meal. A group of us probably about 40 of us arrived at tacobell on the 12th to eat and I was the last one in line and was talking to some friends, so all my friends bought there food first and then when I got to the front the cashier told me they did no such thing and told me that they don't do anything for birthdays. I asked to speak to the manager and the cashier went back to an office and said that he was right and that they dont offer anything. So after all my friends had already purchased there food I get the shaft I was absolutely furious and the guy did not seem to care in the least bit. Well now taco bell has lost 40 customers and I will continue to try to ruin there name because of the bad service that I received.

sharp like bone in my burrito supreme steak
I went to Taco Bell Resturant to day, In which I went thru the drive thru I order a somethings one of the items that I order was a Burrito Supreme Steak. As I drove off I was liitle hungry I couldn't wait until I get home because I just got off work. So as I was drive I start to eat my burrito not thinking any thing of it so I was just about to finish my burrito when I was chewing I fit like a hard object that not the steak when I proceed to take the object out of my mouth it was a sharp like bone in which I could have choke on so immeditly call the number on the recipt the that Manager answer the phone, hang up on me when I was explaining what just took place from me eating from their resturant then I call back and at that time I was pretty upset. So I stated to the manager am on my why back to the resturant not even 10 to 15 pass. I contact everyone that was on the recepit and on the display on the resturant knowone call back and I had to keep calling the manager because it was a serious matter that need to be adress because everyone safety and myself need for the product to be pull so knowone else could have the same situation happen to them it could have a child or elder person then what. The management to team didn't seem like they care enought to take this situation serious because its very serious to me... I don't know what else to do because some needs to go the resturant and see if they are preparing their food correctly I don't know because this is all new to me. Please help
Ok well now Im looking on this post and obviously this was not what I commented on so 4 u 2 send me a smart [censor] message made u look stupid oh and by the way the steak dont have bones in it u probably ate some hard [censor] beans in it and if fast foods always so bad 4 u maybe u should cook
I understand your concern with the bone, the world however is not a perfect place. I can't even count the times i have accidently eaten a bone from a piece of meat. Usually the restaurant meat does not have bones, you were just one of the unlucky ones who got it. Maybe in the future the world will become a little more perfect and have no bones in our meat but as of right now its nowhere near perfect.

Emailed this to the Taco Bell Customer Service Department today:
Issue #1: rice in a a Beef Fiesta Taco Salad is nasty; I usually remember to request "no rice" but today I forgot. It appears that rice is cheaper right now than lettuce, because there was a bunch of rice, and not even a handful of lettuce.
Issue #2: The tortilla shell/bowl is obviously smaller, both in diameter and in depth. Ergo, less meal in the bowl. I guess this store hasn't run out of the big clamshell to-go boxes yet. This poor little salad floated all over the place in its plastic swimming pool. In addition to going to the smaller clamshells so we poor customers are fooled into thinking nothing has changed, how about going a little green? Maybe a carboard to-go box that fits the product, instead of the extra 2 inches of plastic that towers over the poor salad?
Issue #3: The little red tortilla strips used to be provided in a separate container; now the salad comes with a few of the strips sprinkled on the salad, whether the customer wants them or not. I happen to like them; however, by delivering the salad with the strips already on it, you accomplish 2 things; you get to cut back on the amount & save a fraction of a penny, but they are soggy after sitting on the salad for a few minutes.
Issue #4: The amount of guacamole received in a portion control cup has (sadly) always varied by the time of the day, the employee assigned to the task, and the attitude of said employee, but the price gouge was always a quarter; today, I got an estimated tablespoon of guacamole, but the price has risen to 30 cents.
In our current economy, do you think it's wise to drive away your current customer base by lowering quality & raising prices? I've been eating at your chain of restaurants in several different states over the past 30 years. I have a restaurant within walking distance of my office now, and had a habit of eating there a couple of times a week, sometimes with my son (he always orders twice what I do). I have grown less satisfied over the past year, and find that I now eat there maybe once a month. Did you really mean for that to happen? Did you really think that your regular customers wouldn't notice?
*******Doubtful I'll get an answer to this, but it was nice to vent just the same.*****

I've been ordering food from this Taco Bell for 30 years and the first 2 or 3 managers put out delicious food. The past 3 or 4 managers put out garbage. I give up and will switch to Del Taco. Is there no quality control in the Taco Bell System?
I purchased two Taco Salada via the drive thru. After returning home we tried to eat them and the flower torilla shells were rancit. This is the second time that this has happend from this "new" location. We frequently eat at the Taco Bell in Brewer, Maine and have never had any complaint of any nature. There is something definitely wrong at this location. When I returned the food for a refund, the manager seemed totally disinterested in the problem. Here is your money, see Ya. No appology. We will never ever frequent this location again.
I just ordered a Taco Salad and was shocked to find RICE in it. It was a big huge MESS. The beans tasted horrible too. It had been a while since I had given Taco Bell another chance, as I had been dissapointed many times in the past. They used to be the GO TO place to eat. It USED to be good. Well, they are permantely chalked off my list as a fast food place to eat. I sure don't see the volume of customers anymore. Some nitwit CEO has made too many changes and they are putting themselves out of business. So Sad, I used to go there first when I wanted a good fast meal. Wake up [censored]s at Taco Bell!
Being a store manager at Taco Bell, I understand many peoples frustration. Taco salads have changed to a smaller tortilla/ bowl. We do put the red strips on the salad, and 3 oz of lettuce now compared to 5 before. Please understand everyone, that we do NOT make the rules. We only go by what we are told to do! I dont agree with many things they have us do. Now, they have changed the kids meal to have only one taco instead of two. Prices are not going up. Only on a few items. Also, when making tacos, or anything for that matter, we weigh and portion everything. meat is only 1.5 oz, everytime and for everyone. People always like to complain, but they never want to have solutions for anything. So my suggestion before you yell, try working at Taco Bell or any fast food restaurant and see that it is not as easy as it may look. When youre sitting at your desk job, were actually WORKING.
served non veg food - no customer satisfaction
It is very unfortunate and frustrating for me for whatever happened
yesterday. Guys, I went to taco bell (unit no- 021552, Newport mall NJ)
and I ordered for Maxican Pizza and Cheese Quesadilla( everything no
meat). They provided me Chicken food. I went to manager for this and Manager name is
Stella. She was so rude .she t...hrow it in garbadge and were not even wanted
listen me. I bought the chicken packet with me for proof. This is
unacceptable. Even I contacted Tacobell too but no answer. I have
receipt too.

I am judging that by the way you were talking, you may have been unclear on what you were trying to convey to the people working there. One suggestion I would definitely make for you is if you're vegetarian, say that distinctly. "I would like the mexican pizza and cheese quesadilla, hold all the meat. I am a vegetarian"
I was a Vegetarian way back in the day and I used to make it very clear, i'm a vegetarian. Not once did my order get messed up. You're missing out though meat is delicious, especially a bacon double cheeseburger with pork chop mayo and mustard. mmmmmmmmmm

i went thru thw drive thru at gatesville taco bell and this woman took my money her name tag said carmella well she proceeded to take my money and while she was getting my drink i saw her pulling out her nose ring and cleaning it off and then she replaced it back in her nose and she then made my drink i have talked to manager his name is ron but he really didnt make an effort to say he was sorry and that he would fix the problems so then i left and the next day i came back and she was there again and she just looked at me and started rolling her eyes so i drove off and went in and i asked to speak to a manager and this lady told me he wasnt there and she was manager in charge i asked her name and she said cindy so i told her my story and that i didnt appreciate what had happened and she looked at me and smiled and said yea iam sorry and they are training this girl to be a manager but she never once said she was sorry or nothing i love taco bell food but as long as they have people like this working there i will no longer eat there i just feel bad for how many costumers expierence what i have and the managers there just dont seem like they really care either.

quality of food is gone
After being a very frequent customer for over 30 years (yes, that's right), I am crossing Taco Bell off the list! I remember when this chain first came to our area and--although a more limited menu--the food was exceptionally good, especially for the price.
I find their 'new' menu virtually inedible. As if Pepsi wasn't making enough profit, they've really cheapened their menu items to make a few cents more. The beans now are like eating watered down lard with a few beans in the mix. Doesn't even taste like refried beans. And don't you love the new double folded ends on the burritos--less filling and nothing but a mouthful of tortilla--which speaking of that is usually hard and tasteless. The tacos--ha!--you're lucky to get more than a pinch of meat and lettuce, let alone the cheese is so sparse you could count the shreds.
This also seems to be a standard lack of quality across the country. Others I've talked to in other parts of the country agree that Taco Bell has really gone downhill.
I could go on and on. Rather, I've decided to quit visiting the place altogether. That's corporate America--"screw the customer, more profit for us". Not this time.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
It's true, I had TACO BELL and was thinking to myself how awful and cheap they taste now.
I was thinking "COULD IT BE ME?" These dont taste like they use to.
I thought maybe it was a crappy batch, not too long after I tried some more at a different location.
"Horrible again" Not to mention when ever I ask for extra sour cream not only do they charge me
but they give me this little spit of cream, I say "thats all" and they repy.."YUP".

Read full complaintcredit card fraud
On my first ever trip through a Taco Bell drive-through, I ended up paying more than $50 for a single burrito.
The attendant handed me the burrito and a credit card receipt for $3.78. But when I checked my account, he had also run two additional charges in the neighborhood of $24.75 each.
I called the store and was told the assistant manager on duty was "too busy" to talk to me. When I suggested the person take my number and return my call, he hung up.
I called the Taco Bell Feedback line and the corporate offices, both of which told me I would hear from the regional manager within a few days.
The next day I went to the store and spoke to the manager, giving he both the original receipt and a copy of my bank statement showing the additional charges. I also told her that according to Visa, the charges had all been run within a two-minute period.
She took the documents, and told me she would get back to me.
To her credit, she called later in the day and offered me a refund of the overcharges. A little over a week later, I received a call from the regional manager telling me they had investigated and have video of the night manager making the illegal swipes. He has been fired and the company plans to prosecute.
Although generally pleased with the outcome, I would note that Taco Bell did nothing to compensate for the hours I spent tracking this down and the mileage returning to their store.
Consider this post as a warning to check credit card statements carefully.

Hey Complaints Board, how about issuying to police a countrywide alert about all the credit cars theft by Taco Bell employees?
I just got alerts from my CC about all kind of charges being made yesterday on a card I hadn't used in a month.
Looking at my recent transactions, only the Taco Bell drive-thru purchase could be the culprit.
Now I have to dispute that day's transactions that got approved before I got the alert to reject all and close the CC.
Upon googling Taco Bell CC theft, very many of them popped up so someone in power needs to stop this crap.
I am going through a similar situation in Maryland. I used my card at the drive-thru on 8/12 in MD. I noticed a charge for the same amount for a store in MISSISSIPPI on the 17th and then the same charge from the Maryland store on the 18th. I've called and talked to the store management 4x and was told that 9 other people have complained of the same thing and that my information was forwarded to corporate. The website contact feature did not accept my report when I clicked submit. I also learned at my bank that at least one other person from the bank experienced the same thing about 40 miles away. Meanwhile, I've contacted the States Attorney's credit card fraud division and had to freeze my checking account, order a new card, and lose time from work dealing with this. At no time in the last 7 days has ANYBODY from Taco Bell reached out to me. This is tantamount to fraud in my opinion. I will never use Taco Bell again and intend to alert local media.
