I adopted an English Golden Retriever from them on Saturday, October 3, 2015. By Tuesday, October 6th at 2 pm we were in the ER with him and he was diagnosed with Parvo. Breeder is taking ZERO responsibility for delivering a sick pup and is unwilling to provide any financial reimbursement for my mounting vet bills of $4043 as of today and pup is still in the hospital fighting this horrible desease. She just keeps stating the rest of the litter "is fine".

The puppy was not sick and did not have parvo when purchased. We believe the puppy contracted parvo while in Andrea Jacks possession and well within accepted incubation periods.
After Andrea Jack took delivery she sent several messages indicating that "the puppy was great ", "puppy was playing like crazy " and "puppy was eating well".
In regards to her comment about us telling her that the "other puppies were doing fine", she seemed unable or unwilling to understand that parvo is an aggressively contagious disease and that it is virtually impossible that the other puppies in the litter would not also be sick if parvo was present in their environment. Furthermore, this litter was registered with American Kennel Club before Andrea Jack purchased her puppy. This simply means that we have proof of the number of puppies in the litter. By their individually assigned numbers can prove that every puppy in the litter has been rehomed healthy and happy.
In regards to Andrea Jacks statement that we refused responsibility, I have attached the contract she signed. The contract has an added clause indicating she accepted responsibility of the puppy that was only vaccinated once. Most importantly, she did so against our advice.
Finally, we have written correspondence from Andrea Jack, stating she clearly understands our agreement, and wanted reimbursement anyway. We also have threats against our reputation, in writing, if we failed to meet her demands.
We work very hard to insure the small number of puppies we raise are given the very best care possible. We are a small breeder with other jobs to support ourselves. We are saddened by this campaign to ruin our reputation in spite of knowing her personal responsibility.
