I to have received all different types of emails for lotto winnings, the Paypal one, which I contacted them and they have no such ruufle. Out of all the ones on here I have received almost all of these. Whatever you do, do not give them any information. The only way anything can be done is if they steel your indentity, by then it's to late right. That's what the police department had told me any way. Not only that, I have been contacting all of these companies that they have copied attaching the email that they sent me. I also reply to them telling them that they are not legiimate and if they contact me again I will be contacting the proper authorities and that I will file harrassment charges against them. It seems to work, becuase they leave me alone, but 2 or 3 days later, they will send me another fake lotto winning. I also tell them that I am replying from my own fake email address and that they can take whatever info they want, but they are not going to get my real info. Works really wll. Also, if you get any that have the yahoo addresses, let yahoo know right away and they will cancel there accounts. This way it will take them a while to get a new one up and running. This is there way of getting our info. so that they can either come here from over there or get into our things in order to take money. Just be careful and make sure to let these companies know. I believe the companies can do something because they are copyrighting there websites and all that. So it is always good to let them know and if by some weird chance you did win something I'm sure they would contact you. They also have work scams going on too. They get your info. off of Career Builder or any other site that has your resume posted for a job and they email saying that they have a work at home business and that they are contacting you to let you know when you can start and that they will send you money. I went to one of the sites and it has a red flagged box on it, stating that if you received an email from a specific person about a job that, that person does not work for their company and that it is a scam. This is all the info I have so far, but like I said before. Just be careful and don't get yourself into something that will cost you money, speaking of which, there is another one were if you fet involved with someone that wants to send you beneficiary money, don't do it. If the bank thinks something is wrong, they will put a hold on your bank account and the FBI will talking to you. From what I have read it takes a while to get the hold taken off of your bank account.

PayPal fake uggs

Happy ending to story - my daughter and I found the perfect uggs on nike-trade.com, for $65 less, ordered through paypal, and then found all the complaints against the compnay. I immediately logged back into paypal and saw the sellers name was in chinese, not english, so I got nervous. I emailed paypal and the email address that had been at the bottom of the paypal confirmation, and lo and behold, I did get my money back the next day!

I was also reading on some other website on how to identify fake uggs and it states that although it's an australian company, the boots are now actually made in china.

Regardless of if they would have been fake or not, I am glad I got my $125 back! I paid for an item via paypal one time and the person closed their account before I could get my $ money when the camera never arrived...

PayPal fraud

Worship Empire appear to be a fraudulent company that take your money but don't send the goods. Insult to injury - Paypal so called "secure payment" wash their hands of it - after the event. Surely they should keep closer tabs on defaulting companies and remove the Paypal facilities rather than letting more and more people fall into the same trap.

Fortunately this lesson only cost me £11.65 - but had I used a credit card instead of Paypal I could have claimed the money back.

PayPal second visa card glitch/lousy customer service

As an independent business person who deals with many overseas clients, I've been a long-time user of PayPal's convenient online invoicing and payment services. PayPal traditionally requires some sort of bank collateral in order activate a user's account. In my case, it's been a Visa card I've used for several years.

THE PROBLEM: Unfortunately earlier this month my Visa card info was stolen by an online vendor (NOT RELATED TO PAYPAL), so my bank canceled that Visa card an reissued me a new card with a new number. When I went to update that Visa card information on my PayPal account, PayPal refused to accept the new card and displayed the following message:

"We cannot link and confirm your card at this time. Please link a different card or confirm a card already attached to your PayPal account."

Despite repeated attempts over the next few days, PayPal refused to accept the new card, always displaying the same error message. Meanwhile my account became inactive--I could neither send nor receive payments, because I now had no valid card on file with PayPay. I sent an e-mail explaining the problem, but never heard back.

Today I finally called PayPal customer service, and after being transferred to several different departments (and in one case being disconnected entirely) and being given several explanations as to first: why I shouldn't be getting this error; then second: why I was getting this error, I was told that the PayPal system was set up to accept only one (1) Visa card.

Yes, according to customer service, the reason I cannot not update my Visa card information is because the PayPal system is set up to accept one (1) and only one Visa card. If you cancel that card, your only option is to register a non-Visa card, e.g., Mastercard, Amex, Discover. I kid you not.

Fortunately I have a Discover card, so I registered with that (and now I have to wait 2-3 days to complete a convoluted acceptance process).

What annoys me is the amount of work I had to do in order to uncover that information--several days of fruitlessly filling out the PayPal credit card forms, an ignored e-mail request for help, then an aggravating hour on the phone with PayPal customer service.

I think that is not a right solution of your problem. Paypal customer service should help you regarding to your problem. I am using Payscout.com and when I lost my visa card then Payscout easily accept my reissue card in just few minutes.

The email you recieved was a "phish". They are fake emails used in an attempt to get your login information. Paypal will never send you that type of an email. Check the link out - it may say it is a paypal site, but if you look at the link on your browser, it isn't even at "paypal.com". Do not fill out any information on that site. It will record your ID and login password, then you are screwed...

PayPal unfair billing practices

I am filing a complaint for PayPal Plus Credit GE money. I just caught them not only taking a portion of my monthly payment to finance charges I presume, but also when the billing cycle ends the 7th of every month. They are taking another $55 on top of the portion they took not only a week before from the payment! How can they be double dipping? On top of that they are taking the charge on the 7th from the card itself as a cash advance. How can this be legal!

I am filling a complaint with the better BBB also.

I smell a lawsuit! For sure!

GE Money Bank opened a fraudulet cardit card under may name. Gave the person instant credit to buy a laptop. LifeLock called GE Money Bank on the 16th April the same day the card was opened to report this as fruadulet account. GE Money Bank choice to ignore the warning, and never atempted to contact me to verify if this was a fraudulet account. Thus allowing the laptop to be deliveried to another State with no questions. Now all GE Money Bank says is that they have 90 Day to investigate, and in the mean time this goes on my credit report, GE Money Bank does not care about customer sercurity. They partners in crime with Pay Pal & Pay Pal Plus Credit Cards. They really need to quit the instant credit, and verify information. I was told by there own fraud department that they cannot keep up with the fraud claims, and are very rude to the custom ers.

"Stay away from GE Money accounts, " should be shouted all across the USA. GE Money is the most avariciously deceptive company that I have ever dealt with. Their collection practices with even their best on-time and early paying customers is usurious to say the least. GE Money's first line tactic is to delay the receipt of a payment in order to immediately convert an advertised 10.99% APR into a 29.99% penalty APR. Then their is the monthly recurring finance fees. They are almost on a parwith being extortionists and should be class-action sued.

PayPal unauthorized use of my credit card by paypal

Paypal initiated shipment of an item I never purchased and they charged it to my Mastercard they have on record. Then Paypal notified a past seller on eBay to ship to me an item that I did not order/buy. I learned about this when the seller sent me an eMail that he shipped the merchandise. Paypal never admitted to the wrongdoing. I never authorized this transaction against my credit card. I requested the contact info to their CEO and they refused to provide it. I found the address and sent a letter addressed to their CEO, but he (or someone on his behalf) never replied. Paypal doesn't publish or provide ANY phone numbers to reach their senior management. While the seller refunded my money after I sent him back the merchandise, both the seller and I had to pay for shipping charges that were not refunded by Paypal.

Someone should audit Paypal's computer systems and the way this company misuses and abuses consumers' credit cards. In addition, no company should get away without pubishing and providing phone numbers for their executives.

I will never again use Paypal for payments and I hope that over time competition will take care of them.

i have just been scamed for £145.00 a buyer brought an item from me with a credit card that wasnt theirs, and paid through paypal this was an instant payment so i had no reason to suspect anything, i sent the goods away to the confirmed address, then 1, wk later paypal informs me that it was an unauthorised payment, and froze the money, after several weeks of supplying necessary proof i won this claim and had the money returned to my accountm now several months later paypal have taken the money again calling it chargeback, the credit card company are asking for the money back for the rightful owner, surely i cant be liable for this, paypal should be held responsible, in a fact they have stolen my money, why should this happen i cant get any replys back from paypal all they say its being processed but that doesnt help me, please i hope someone here can give me some sound advice on how i stand, many thanks, frances evans,

PayPal false reasons for denied credit line increase

I have a Paypal credit from GE Moneybank for an embarrassing $300. Ok, when I opened it a few years ago, I thought they start you out low. About twice a year I would put in a request for an increase online and have gotten turned down. Couple years later, today I did so again and in a split second the screen came up denied and a letter explaining why will be sent to me. Every computer generated form letter I have gotten in the past has had the same information given for the denial. Credit history not long enough, ( A BLANTANT LIE), balances in ratio to credit line too high ( A BLATANT LIE), I have no mortgage ( SO I DON'T OWN A HOUSE, AND YOUR POINT IS?), and so on. For one thing, I have a VERY high credit score. As of last week when I checked, 802 for TransUnion, 795 Experian and Equifax. I finally called GE Money Bank credit department. The person I spoke to first claimed I did not ever put in a request, I asked if he pulled up my account or not, he then said, oh yes, I see here that a letter was sent to you, but I have no access to the reason. I gave him the info from the letter. I told him to check my credit report. After a bit of a wait, he told me that he will give me the increase. After a minute or so, he claimed the computer would not let him give it to me. I asked if there was anything that could be done. A dispute process, what? His response was well, I don't know what to say, it won't let me increase for you, and it does not make sense why it is so low. (At least he admitted THAT). His only suggestion was for me to try again in a few months. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and he transferred me to music for almost an hour. I am disgusted! I hung up and dug around the internet till I found you and this is my complaint. I wonder if this has happened to anyone else out there? One more thing. I found out that JC Penny Credit is from GE Money Bank. NOW, it makes some kind of sense as to why JC Penny is the ONLY store EVER to deny me a card. Hmmm. Coincidence? I have excellent credit, great payment history, Etc. etc. and I do not understand this. I did not dispute the denial on JC Penny because I very rarely shop with them and the request was done when a clerk talked me into opening an account, and I though why not? Imagine how embarrased I was being told with a bunch of people in back of me at the counter and for a measly 50 purchase! Anyway, thank you for letting me vent, share this information with others, and again I ask if anyone has had this problem with Paypal Credit?

GE is doing the same to me...I closed my pay pal account...and the reason you were turned down for jcpenney is that GE only allows you so many accounts for some reason...probably current credit crisis...I have a Dillards(GE) account and JCPENNEY (GE)
and I owe nothing and just won't use them...

Its good that I am posting this after I have calmed down. I literally have about 3 hours invested in searching the net, pouring over small print, and reading post such as this. I am recently married and this is my husbands account, he has paid over the phone late since opening this. He has also been charged their phone and late fee. He is very busy and does not have the time to do what I'm doing so he has been so screwed by them. He is a power seller on Ebay and did not want to mess up any of his Ebay or Paypal stuff. He told me the only way you can pay w/o beeing charged the phone fee (rerally what the hell is this, the american consumer has become accustomed to companys outsourceing their customer service jobs to other countries where you can not understand the person nor can they understand you. They also charge you for "this crappy service". Anyway I was determined this month not to pay a service charge and started early trying to see if their screwed up website was up. This is it https://www.paypalplus.gemoney.com/consumergen2/login.do?subActionId=1000&clientId=paypal&accountType=plcc&langId=en It is down most the time, I made it a habit to everytime I sit at the computer check to see if its up. The main problem is when people go to pay they believe they are paying for Paypal credit which is not the same as Paypal credit card. That is why I posted the url to their login page. They make everything extremely hard to deal with then charge redicoulouse fees. My husbands credit is already shot and I tried to convince him not to pay them period as they have charged him so much, but he insist that it may effect his paypal ebay account. I have not figured it up yet but I am sure its redicoulouse what he has been charged since he aquired this "credit". My advice to everyone is put their webpage in your favorites list and everytime your on the computer starting to weeks before payment is due make at least the min. until you can pay the balance since the website is down so much. Also please contribute to websites such as this, I have used them for years to make decisions but rarely post, and will now always post my complaints. What the poster above said is so true, they only exist because we use them, even when American compamies out source jobs we should have. This is what is happenening to our economy. Also do you really want someone working in a phone room in India to have your bank info, I wonder how hard it would be to have them found and prosicuted if they committed ID theft.

Forget about the lateness -- you should hear what they did to me. I have a Paypal Buyer Credit supposedly run by GE Money. I have always paid on time and way over the limit. So much so that I had a credit on my account. Now you would think that they would want people like that -- but guess what! They lowered my credit limit by over half! I called and they said well you will get a letter explaining -- I'm like what the heck!

I asked if I was late, he said no. I asked if I didn't pay the recommended amount, he said no. Then what's the reason. The only thing he could say was that a letter was coming to me explaining.

I have cancelled my Ebay account and PayPal and told them both why I did that. Maybe if we all put pressure on these idiots -- they will get the message. WITHOUT US YOU DON'T EXIST!

PayPal unsecure site

I am in the process of cleaning up $12, 500 worth of airline tickets charged to my Pay Pal accounts. This included debit, credit card and the bank checking account tied to PayPal. Not the first time I've had to deal with fraud through Pay Pal.

My computer has good, current virus and spyware on it. The 'geek squad' at Best Buy found no planted keylogging program/virus and they just guffawed at the lack of 'security' on the PP site. Their comment was it is "not safe, no matter what they say".

Last year someone hacked into Pay Pal and listed hundreds of individuals' names, socials and credit card# w/security codes onto a discussion board thread on Ebay. Every few lines he stuck in "wheeeee!" I saw this myself yet Ebay/PayPal (one and the same) covered it up and denied there was anything to it.

I would recommend NOT using Pay Pal. Let Ebay know what the concerns are as they are starting a new "policy" around the end October 2008 not allowing sellers to list any payment option other than Pay Pal. This is not out of concern for buyer/seller safety, it is only another way for them to get more money in their already deep pockets.

I have been a member of Pay Pal since it first came out. I am disabled so I do a lot of online shopping and don't like to give out my credit cards. Well they were offering a special that you would get a free 10.00 if you signed up for a new program called "Bill me later" I thought what the heck it would be nice to get a free 10.00 . So I applied and was denied. I have never been denied for anything in my entire life. I don't owe any credit cards, my credit score was in the 800's as I just refinanced my home at a lower intrest rate. I was not only shocked but I am mad. If this gets reported on my credit report I will find out what I need to do to have it taken off. I am going to pass this information to everyone I know including the people who do their business on this service. I will not only never use it again but I will apply for the new one out there. I do not understand why and sent them a letter asking them and they said I would receive a letter in the mail. If this does anything to my credit I will seek legal advice. So all of you who use Paypal I would think twice. They are not the company they appear to be!

After several weeks and many phone calls I have given up. The PayPal plus operations are either in shambles, suffering from neglect, or fraudulent. Every attempt to settle a requested charge back has ended in no action what so ever. The latest attempt required I file a new (second request) and then fax the evidence to [protected]. This phone number does not work! Avoid this company and alert others to avoid this company as well. In my opinion the brand 'PayPal' is severely tarnished. I will never trust any eBay product again.

sold a car on ebay. Buyer paid thru pay pal. Pay pal locked up my account and set all these limitations on my account. Would not release my 3700.oo dollars unless i sent them all this personal info. Which I did. And they still would not release my money. Its been 4 months. Still nothing...There are all kinds of things just like my case happening, to honest people. Way more than my 3700.00. I guess i should count my blessings it was not over 25,ooo. Like some people. Tons of negative if you just research pay pal. So please know this could happen to you as well as it did with me and so many others. Pay pal does not back you up. They just hold your money.

I had an account with Pay Pal.. A few months ago I purchased some items from Deals Extreme. Pay pal had NO Problem with my credit card. Recently, I canceled my account with Pay Pal because they would NOT allow me to Use another credit card. Because I use "Shop Safe" with Bank of America each purchase on the net has a different credit card number with a set limit. It works like this. Example. If you order something on line costing 100 dollars you credit limit for the "shop Safe" number can be set for a limit at or near your purchase. In my case I would set my limit at about 101 dollars. That way the seller can't ship you two items and bill you 200 dollars saying that is what you ordered. I know it's happened before..It seems that Deals Extreme uses ONLY Pay Pal for check out. Now that I have closed my Pay Pal account I can't purchase from Deals Extreme. I am told that E-Bay is now using Pay Pal exclusively. In that case I will not be able to purchase off e-bay. My credit is GREAT I have NEVER declaired bank rupsy, my home and car are paid for, I am not behind on any bills, no late fees. Pay Pal has TO much control over our lives..Simply put I HATE doing business with them and think vendors should go back to letting us use our OWN banks and credit companies. Pap Pal even asked for my bank routing numbers and other personal info they DO NOT NEED.. My Credit Card is GOOD and that is easy to verify. Now Pay Pal will NOT accept a credit card from me and I have NEVER defaulted. Is their way of punishing me for Closing my Pay Pal account? You decide..

wanted to buy a product online told to get credit card got said visa went to buy item online told they had to join pay pal did that pay pal took out 1.95 to verify credit card no problem there went back to buy the item when i tried pay pal declined the item said their security system will not allow the purchase called them up they said to try again after doing so I was told they would not accept my visa for payment that i would have to get their green pay pack ( why I did not understand I had gotten the visa to make a purchase not to have it and not use it, now I go to store and find this green pay pack it cost an additional 4.95 plus tax and on the card it reads that thy will charge a fee for the use. what type of crap is that? so Ive been looking for a company that has the product and does not use pay pal their is none at least online that i can find.just wanted to put this out their and the kicker is they even charge a closing fee they get you coming and going.

The Pay pal asked me to veryfy my bank account or I reached limits for transactions and cannot do more... Took 1 week to complete and the representative promised - there will be a button to choose to pay with credit card orbank account, but there was not... time was up to pay for e-bay items, could not wait longer and I knew they could not possibly take money from bank, funds were locked, so I confirmed payment... and called service 2nd time - because I saw no funds to be taken from credit card. Well, this time I had to confirm credit card! Another week to complete. Call #3 - what's happening to all those transfers? Ah, they used my credit card now! Ok, now I have the button to choose to pay right away from credit card - still Pay Pal wants me to use bank account and asks again and again to press - not to change to credit card... Call #4 - what?! Why?!. O'k, they promise not to charge for using credit card and advise to go ahead... But at the end of the day they created me negative balance on their own account - Call # 5 - Why negative? Ah, one of sellers did refund 2$ out of 3$ sent and they cannot charge my credit card for this 1$... They want me to pay cash advance, which will cost me $2.5 for transaction from credit card ($5 if to debit my bank account). What kind of monkey business is this? Well, Paypal representative transfers me to his supervisor, and supervisor transfers me to their "account specialist" - which will coplete charge from credit card which will be not as cash advance...after 2 minutes me waiting for answer they hang up the phone. So they solved their problem! Leaving me with no other possibility to pay negative balance THEY CREATED but those which will cost me high fees, and damaging my credit history reputation.
Willing to risk your credit score using pay pal, anyone? They do not help and push you into trouble for no reson, no fault of yours... i heard, they want to get rid of small customers, or up to something else... Anyway, what they advertise - is false, and should people charge them for this - these could be a winning case with a good lawer. And may be i will have to go to cort to protect my reputation. Just for 1$, LOL! But I would advise to use pay Pal account unconfirmed up to limits they set, and after walk away from future using. Why to confirm your bank account, if everything get's so screwed after that?! After that transactions are not easy, nor care free...
Neither should I say - I am no longer e-bay customer...after all this mess and abuse from Pay Pal.

I applied and was denied a merchant account last year with paypal. yet they have all my bank info and personal info. and are charing my bank account as if I have an account with them and I do not.. during the application process they told me to deposit ten dollars. towards thier account for a test and that they would send it back .. after many phone calls hours of explaining and frustration with various departments and supervisors paypal put lke 6 2 or 3 dollars back towards my account and charged for the service...then sent me a check for one cent..now i get a email saying that they are going to cancel the one cent check and want to charge for that probably as a way to access my account because they know that they are in the wrong for thier past actions.. I should not have to change my buisness account because they are not set up to withdraw information from thier databases.. they are a fraud..shortly after this fiasco I opened a merchant account to process my own credit cards..this company is not trustworthy and does not have resolutions in places for thier problems to give even one cent back that they steal and I mean STEAl ..theft by fraud...

I fully agree with this post as I have personally been scammed out of USD883.60 by PayPal when withdrawing funds from my PayPal to my registered and verified bank account.
The transactions (2 in total - 1 for USD500 in February 2013 and the second for USD383.60 in January 2014) show completed however were never in my bank account.
I contacted PayPal more than 50 times via phone and sent over 100 emails. Their customer service staff does nothing to assist and simply do not care to help their customers trace missing funds.
PayPal advertise itself as trusted and reliable and I have found out the hard way - TWICE - that this is a blatant lie.

PayPal unauthorized charge

I received an email from PayPal Inc.com saying a charge for $189.95 was being put on my credit card for a purchase from John Angels for some Expert Detective Software. I do not know who this is and I certainly did not authorize this charge. The transaction ID 20433666fg486722n. An email to the paypal.inc.com did not go through. I will be forwarding this to local authorities by friday. Your response is important in tracking this charge and the person who allegedly made the purchase.

I regularly get emails from this company (Paypal Inc) - at a quick glance it appears as Paypal in my inbox but then when looking at the email without opening it is Paypal Inc.

They are asking for information that the genuine Paypal should have and each time I get one of these emails I report it to spoof@paypal.com and call paypal and inform them. Also, there is never anything charged to my genuine Paypal account. This is yet another example of a scam.

This happens so often that the genuine Paypal cannot keep up with the problems. This is yet another example of internet scams due to lack of controls which would be impossible to monitor. These companies should be automatically shutdown. I have one very low limited credit card that I use for internet purchases and constantly monitor the balance of the account onthe few ocassions that I use the card

I will report this to authorities. I even tried to dispute this claim the site was a phishing link! I want to talk with who's in charge.

PayPal refund scam

I won an on-line auction on ebay on 7/5/08 and never received my product. After contacting the seller for a refund due to non-delivery, a refund was done through paypal. However, my credit card was charged a second time instead of being credited. After an hour on the phone with three different reps with paypal, I was told there was an I.T. problem that has been on-going for eight days and there was no way for them to reverse the charges on my credit card.

This is THEFT. I will never use paypal nor ebay again.

PayPal won't let you online to pay bill until after your charged late fee

I try to pay them online and I can't get on there website until after the due date, this happens every month. So I made it so it would be automatic payment for 6 months. They didn't notify me that, was running out until I was 3 months past due on my payments. Then I owed them lots of late fees anyways. This place is a scam.

PayPal problems with account

My first complaint is one that is of a more recent occurrence. Sometime last year, PayPal screwed up an account transaction that left me unknowingly owing them $290. I discovered my account was locked, and I didn't understand why despite attempting to e-mail the company to get some kind of understanding with no response. I later on received a collection for the funds, and based on not being able to prove that I actually didn't owe them the money, I finally paid the bill off. I directly e-mailed their appeals department to get information on what needs to be done next, and received no response after a couple days. I finally tried to log back in after finding out my collections payment had cleared, and it was still locked, so I submitted a response through their website, a couple days later, no response. So I finally e-mailed them again, 3rd attempt - and will give them a couple days before I contact the Better Business Bureau. I cannot obtain a phone number because when I tried to get their Service Center number, it required me to log in, and when I do, it takes me back to the "your account is locked, e-mail appeal..etc." message from before and back to square one. I would be absolutely screwed if not for the next initial realization in my next complaint.

Because of the account locking, I had to set up a different account to do business with through my record label and other business. By other business I mean buying goods through retailers that only accept PayPal or mail in payments. I had made a purchase to a Japanese retailer, and sent in a refund to a customer who ordered an item that is now indefinitely out of stock. I am forced to have my PayPal account for the business set up through my savings account because the original is through my checking. When I processed the funds for these two transactions, I had thought that I had the funds in my Savings, which I did not; so I ended up overdrafting my account twice because of it - which is, of course, my problem to deal with. However, PayPal attempted to recharge the transaction to the Japanese retailer not once, but twice, and the refund one time, without my approval, automatically a couple days later. This caused me an additional $60 in overdraft fees. When I contacted them to complain about this, they stated that it was my problem to make sure I have funds in my account, and they can't be held responsible for overdraft fees on my end when I overdraft over a transaction I make. When I responded reexplaining that THEY ARE responsible because I never authorized them to re-charge the transactions, I received no more responses, instead I received a survey asking about how I felt about my service, which I obviously rated incredibly low and would be in process of closing all of my PayPal accounts, establishing accounts elsewhere (Google CheckOut) and let everyone I know to stop using PayPal. After reading more horror stories on this site and others regarding PayPal, it's just fairly obvious that this company only cares about it's own security and now making it's customers they make money off of happy. I've sold tons of CDs and Shirts through my record label that has paid for at least 2 full paychecks of an employee, and this is how I get treated? It's ridiculous.

PayPal customer service are idiots

I was selling on ebay and using paypal for several years, I mainly sell during the holiday season.

On Dec 10, 2007 I sold an item that sold for $25.00 I promptly shipped out an got a tracking number, I keep all receipts, tracking numbers on file for problems that do occur during shipping. Two weeks later the item was returned back to me with "return to sender, no such address" stamped on it, I called pay-pal to inform them of this situation, they told me to fax in the receipt, a copy of the tracking number and a copy of the package to them for their investigation. I contacted the buyer and explained the problem and he wanted me to reship the item at my expense to the same address, I told him that I WOULDN'T because think about it if it was returned once it would be returned again.

The buyer made a claim on no shipment, so I called pay-pal again to remind them that they already had all the information about this issue, they told me that there will not be problems on this and they will get me the right address and they will make the buyer repay for shipment.

Two weeks later no response from pay-pal, I noticed that the money for the item was refunded, I contacted pay-pal they informed me that they ruled in favour of the buyer "because the buyer never received the item" I again informed them that they already had all the documentation from the shipment, they kept on saying "well the buyer never received the item" I asked them about the seller protection they again told me "the buyer never received they item"

Two months later pay-pal's collection service called me told me that I was $62.00 past due and they wanted the money. I refused to pay. Called pay-pal spoke with 2 of their senior reps, they informed me that my account was charged twice for this and that my account was past due and thats why they were calling me to collect, so I asked them why when my account already had a chargeback for the item they kept on telling me that the buyer never received the item and the buyer received the money for the chargeback. Hum what happened to the money I asked, they could never explain!

Simple math would tell you $25.00+$25.00 does not equal to $62.00 where’s the money at?

Obviously no one there knows either, why did I double charged for a chargeback and what happened to $12.00?

No one knows, no one can answer any questions, and no one cares.

Why would the Board of Directors of eBay agree to sell porn online through Paypal? Don't they have to be responsible to their shareholders, most of whom are institutional funds that can't work with companies that sell porn.
