SupaGlazing Limited — Shame
Our main concern is with the comment from Stephen Giles which is in no way relevant and has been falsified. They first contacted us a few weeks ago regarding a letterbox which had corroded. We then replaced it under their 10 year guarantee. At the time they did not mention any gaps or drafts and our engineer on site was not informed of any other problems nor detected any. After recently speaking with Mr Giles he did confirm that the windows and doors were fine and this complaint is part of a libellous campaign spearheaded against us for no other reason apart from he didn't agree with his letterbox corroding (even though were rectified the problem and changed it as soon as possible). This is not the only site this review has appeared on but it is the most recent. I have attached the satisfaction note from the installation to show that the customer was more than happy with the product and it does not mention any gaps. Can this review please be removed as soon as possible as we have been going for 32 years and we have over 52, 000 customers and are a well respected company in the south east of England and we do not like to be threatened by these reviews. If you require any more information please don't hesitate to contact me or email me on michael.[protected]@supaglazing.com.

This has to be a record... one year on and still counting... the job still incomplete.
Building work started on our orangery in January 2018. Bi fold doors eventually fitted August 2018 which are STILL FAULTY - six months later.
Two meetings with the owner/Director and still nothing gets done. Unprofessional outfit, good advise from previous reviews - PLEASE AVOID.

Do not pay in full until the job is complete. The service post Supa Glazing receiving the funds is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. You will find yourself in a stressful battle, they will be cheaper than most, trust me the little extra saving is NOT worth it. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

Oh my god! Why am I surprised after the last dealing with them .
Today we were going out and could'nt shut the conservatory doors, the handle wouldn't move when in the shut position so we were unable to look the door. I phoned supaglazing and was amazed at their response, so very very rude, I can't mention anyone by name as they will get this post removed
( happened to me before, that's another story ) I was told that my conservatory is not a main door therefore not a priority, did I mention it was the external door !, they would send someone out to me NEXT WEDNESDAY, today is Friday, they suggested I move my telly indoors and that the contents are my responsibility not there's, she then told to tie some rope around the handles, when I asked her if she were in my position would she be satisfied with that response to which she replied " I'm not as paranoid as you " . Unbelievable ! If in the meantime I get broken into do you think my insurance company would pay out knowing my door was secured with string, NO I think is the answer. Also if it doesn't matter as its only a conservatory door then why has it got 8 locking mechanisms. This company does not survive on good reputation but because they are so cheap, end of .. Do yourself a favour and avoid, people don't spend there time on here complaining for nothing. Please listen

I am having the same problems, no call back, rude staff on the phone, no satisfaction at all. the so called glazing bars on our windows are simply bits of ill fitting plastic, (Which collect dirt and bugs) these are supposed to be stuck on with black skicky tape!
Ours didnt even have that security, and as a result have all fallen of! when the window cleaner came.

I have been complaining now for overa year and can see no result, the fitters are nice enough, but you try to get some satisfaction from the office, they are either condesending, or just plain rude.
I really dont know what to do next.
These windows are simply not fit for purpose, should we take it to court?

I'm having hell with them at the moment ongoing since 9th Nov 2013!
They never call me back and won't see me when I go in. I want my deposit back but they won't give it so I have no new windows and I'm £446 out of pocket!

My parents have had months of hell with Supaglazing, starting back in November 2013 when they initially placed their order for 9 windows, 4 doors and a patio door. They were told to expect installation within a few weeks, but were not contacted until after Christmas when they were told it would the 20th January ~ despite them regularly calling to chase for an installation date, and making Supaglazing aware that they could not move into the house until their works had been completed.

On the first day of installation, the fitters were late and offered no apology whatsoever. By the end of the week, my parents and the fitters were not even on speaking terms, as they were so rude and abrupt every time an fault was mentioned with their work. In the end, they rushed the installation and my parents were left with a huge list of defects that needed to be addressed. However, this too was a nightmare in arranging, and took several visits and countless phone calls to rectify.

Their fitters, customer service staff and management are all rude and so unhelpful, no-one wants to listen and they certainly don't want to address any problems that they have caused.

The final straw was not receiving their guarantee from Supaglazing, or the FENSA certificate. I checked the FENSA site myself for them, and the installation was never registered. I have sent numerous e-mail on their behalf to both Supaglazing and FENSA, finally giving them 7 days to produce the documentation before threatening to report them to Trading Standards and our local Building Control office.

Within a couple of days, the Supaglazing certificate finally turned up last week, and I have had an e-mail from FENSA this morning confirming that the installation has now been registered today ~ almost 6 months to the date of commencement of the installation.

It is appalling that they are allowed to continue operating in this manner, and this kind of trading should be investigated.

I had actually recommended Supaglazing to my parents, as I had used them last year and found them then to be great value and had no complaints ~ my order of 8 windows was fitted within a month of the salesman coming around and was inspected by FENSA, so I had my guarantee and certificate within days of completion.

However, to add insult to injury, despite the order being placed 8 months ago, I still have never received the referral payment that I was told I would be entitled to for recommending them.

Given the stress and upset they have put my parents through, I would certainly never recommend Supaglazing again and neither will my parents.

For us this is not the end of the matter, and we will be reporting them to Trading Standards and our local Building Control office.

Hey everyone,

We're having problems with them at the moment... after many months we have had all our windows fitted, like a lot of you several dates promised, time booked off by me, followed by no one turning up and numerous calls to the office to just be fobbed off... you know the classic Supaglazing complaints!

I have a few missing things and chunks of plaster they bashed out of the walls (!) which has been promised to be done in two weeks time.

I've paid them 3/4 of the payment but not paying the other 1/4 until everything is finished... and now the threats to removed the current windows have started to pay the full amount, but after reading all the reviews here, I am damm well not paying them a penny more until all work is 100% complete. Will keep you update, but I certainly don't recommending them!

Do not buy anything from this company! I worked for this company for many years there product is not quality checked faults are only rectified if they are spotted after installation! This includes cracked frames being sent out that have been glued and sanded down due to poor manufacturing they will do anything to get the money in for these poorly made and measured frames if a customer is not happy they threaten to remove the new windows by telling the fitters to do so if not they ask for there van back I have a whole Album of photos with miss measures, cracked frames when I made them aware of any cracks, scratches or dents was ask if the customer had seen it and to hide any faults

Very similar complaints to the above. Triple glazing fitted 1st August. Complete disaster. We were mis-sold the product in the first instance and have been left with windows not fit for purpose and damage to our property. The noise coming through the windows is so bad it is like living in the street. Agree with comments on aggressive and intimidating attitude from a service manager. We have been trying to work with Fensa (toothless organisation) and have accommodated at least 11 days of repairs. The Windows are so badly fitted they cannot be repaired. Each time the fitters try to make repairs the glass breaks, hence this and multiple faults (too many to list) mean on going repairs! We have submitted a Chartered Surveyor report, which in his foolish arrogance the so called service manager has said is rubbish! As with the case above we have no Fensa certificate. We have had enough of this unprofessional and immoral company and are preparing for legal action. We have also informed Trading Standards. We had used Spaglazing in 2006 and everything was fine so after doing our homework on which company to contract, we thought it was good to use local firms to help jobs and the local economy but the way Supaglazing treats their customers is shameful. Good advice from previous reviews - AVOID

Avoid if you have the involve Directors / Customer Services
Background:
2 windows incorrectly measured by surveyor (one too big and one too small). Photographs were taken of the large gap. We stated we would withhold the cost of one window until rectified (legal right). This resulted in threats by 2 of the directors of Supaglazing, where they both stated they would remove all the newly fitted windows and threatened the 2 nice / competent fitters with the sack. 5 other snagging problems have been fixed, but the tone of Gary left on the phone at the “eleventh hour” was unacceptable (recorded on answerphone). Supaglazing were emailed with a detailed list 2 weeks before he finally phoned us.
Further installation problems – still not fixed despite many email – We contacted CAB and Trading Standards who have documented details of the issues.
Internal plastic moldings are becoming loose on many windows on this installation. This as affected my decoration that will have to be done again.Kitchen window Left hand top hinge faulty (Gap of 1.5mm towards the top). I hope this is not due to being measured incorrectly by the surveyor, that subsequently had to be cut down to fit the existing hole! Holes and uneven silicone application to bedroom 1 sill, needs to be removed and applied correctly.
We still await the guarantee certificate and FENSA documents for our the installation completed in August. I had to contact FENSA myself, it was disclosed Supaglazing had forgot to submit the request to FENSA !
Conclusion:
We were going to have a conservatory made by Supaglazing, thankfully we did not sign the dotted line.

Supaglazing have no morals, no customer care and will lie through their teeth and pretend that fitters are coming when they know they are not! Avoid!
